One of my favorite ramen places to come to when we're in the area. Tried the pork tonkatsu and it was delicious with a creamy flavor. The don bowl was really good too and the rice was cooked perfect! The service was super fast and quick! We came at a good time before it got too busy and will definitely be back again!

Overall good experience had the shio ramen and spicy tonkotsu ramen, only thing would wish the "Spicy" was a bit spicy but was good still. Customer service was good

I'm sitting at a 4.5 so I'll round up. My only complaint is that this place isn't really authentic ramen... it's definitely a fusion. I got the spicy tonkatsu and their #1 at a 3/4. A level 3-4 is HOT and their number one reminded me a lot of taiwanese spicy beef soup. I enjoyed the noodle texture as well and the broth wasn't overly salty. My only thing is that the tables were REALLY sticky and dirty still. You order at the front and they bring it

Jigoku ramen used to be very spicy but last three times when I had it, it wasn't that spicy anymore even when I ordered level 5

Best Ramen in town! I'm always on the search for the perfect Ramen and always compare to Yokai Ramen. Hands down simply the best. My go to is the spicy tonkatsu pork ramen.

The cold front blew in, and with the temperature drop, it's the perfect weather for ramen and soup. We thought to try @yokairamensa out for dinner. Everyone else had the same idea, so it was pretty busy. Dad had the Taro Milk Tea, I had the Butterfly Purple, and my husband had the Mango Sweet Tea with Lychee jelly. We all enjoyed our drinks. We shared the Fried Shrimp with the sweet chili sauce. Dad and I shared the Tonkotsu Ramen with extra noodles. Even with sharing, we couldn't finish it all. My husband had the spicy version. Great flavor in the broth without being salty. The pork was tender! Many stopped by for to-go orders. They're at Thousand Oaks and Jones Maltsberger. Check them out!

I really enjoyed eating here. The ramen was really good. The broth was very flavorful, more than just the tonkatsu flavor the broth had base to it. It was really good, definitely sets itself apart from other ramen spots. The ingredients used were also very delicious, I could tell the freshness and all together the chef did a really good job. The place itself is really cute, fun in fact. The decor is animated and the seating arrangement fits the cute shop very well. Last but not least the service and staff were very friendly and respectful. I'll definitely be coming back.

So yummy! Delicious warm bowl for the chilly week of San Antonio. The dining experience was unique and just fun. You order and then they push your order through these doors and the decor is very anime style, pops of color. My boyfriend got the yakisoba and he devoured it and I got the ramen. I'm not keen on some veggie ramens because I don't like some of the vegetables so places add but this was great and adding the fried tofu was that perfect bit of protein.

Not a bad little ramen joint. If you live in the Thousand Oaks Shopping Center area, there are plenty of little stores that keep the community happy - Yokai.is one of them. On those rare wet chilly days when you yearn for hot savory soup to warm your bones, Yokai provides you with great tasting ramen. It's a small palce on the corner, with ample parking on the side. You enter, are greeted and seat yourself. You order at the table and receive your order at the pickup window. I had the spicy tonkatsu at (spice level 3-4, where 5 is the max), and was left both pleased with the product. The noodles were prepared well, not sticky or soggy. The dish came with a nice size slab of grilled pork, and plenty of corn, mushroom, and green onions. The broth was flavored sufficiently I also tried the octopus balls. These were deep fried crab filled balls with one or two pieces of octopus tentacles in them. They weren't bad and the preparation and presentation of this dish was well done. What could be better is adding more octopus, the crab filler and sauce ended up dominating the taste of this appetizer - when I was expecting more cowbell, err octopus The service was fantastic. We placed our order and maybe five minutes later the food was ready. The ambience was great - like a Japanese anime motif with J-Pop playing in the background. The Thousand Oaks area is lucky to have this little ramen shop as part of their diverse food selection.

10/10 would recommend. The service was kind and the food came out very fast. The food was delicious i really loved the japanese egg rolls we sat at the booths which was really cool felt like the real japanese restaurants, they we're playing anime theme songs which made the place even better

Loved the vibes here. If you have ever seen midnight dinner on Netflix it feels slightly similar but In a ramen shop style. I liked that they put food out through the counter from the kitchen. The ramen is good and well priced. I like how it is not too too rich so that I don't feel stuffed. It's a great everyday ramen.

Which makes me question the sincerity of the quality of their restaurant. I dined in and their menu was extremely limited and you have to add everything a la cart unlike other ramen places. On the menu they clearly state do not leave a bad review just leave direct feedback. But honestly, you shouldn't have to bribe or beg your patrons in trying to silence them. Make the needed adjustments to earn loyal customers, like not making them add every single ingredient as a separate charge, playing some music to drown out conversation from the other table, checking on your customers a little more often, and improving the quality of your menu. I love local businesses but the pressure they put on you as a customer, is unreal. I'll try giving them another chance but not anytime soon, I'll stick with Suck It in the Medical Center.
