First off- I am a REGULAR. My order is Garlic Tonkotsu with a side Chicharrón (when they have it) and I like to add bok choy and I'll add their spicy paste. It's delicious. They make their spicy paste in house so sometimes it's a little spicier than usual but I'm just careful how much I add. I like that they make it though. The chicharron comes and goes. They had it for a long time, then got rid of it, then brought it back for a month-ish. The chicharron is my favorite part of the meal. I'll put some in the soup spoon, add a little broth...man it's good. The noodles are always perfect. Never too soft or undercooked. Everything about the ramen is great. Madison is our usual waitress and she's always got my order down. I like the staff consistency. Any staff members that take care of us usually does a great job. The vibe of the shop is very cool too. While waiting I went to the bathroom and on the way there I was afraid to touch anything especially the curtain leading to the bathroom. This is my third visit to this location for happy hour. It's not too busy, the air conditioning is cold, and the staff is friendly. The service can be quick, so if you're taking a late lunch, you can grab some extra snacks for later. The ramen is enjoyable, featuring a salty broth and al dente noodles, and it's consistently good. My favorite dishes include the ahi tuna salad, which has fruit like apples and strawberries, the karaage, and the honey sriracha wings. The salad is topped with a generous amount of crispy noodles, which I really like. The karaage is served hot and crispy. The wings are also crispy when you get them. I took a lot home and reheated them the next day; they were delicious, although not as crispy as fresh, which is to be expected. However, I do not recommend the bibimbap. This is our default go-to for Ramen in the area. We've tried most every Raman dish and they ALL are fantastic. My favorite is the garlic tan tan which is very heady and savory with the right amount to garlic. (It's easy to overdo) The noodles in their dishes are always tender but not overcooked to the point of falling apart. We always have an appetizer of edeamame whose salt in a nice precursor to your ramen. Service has always been tops and the interior has a nice Asian vibe going on without being a a cliche. This is a chain but they really to Ramen well. Recommend you give one a try. read more

It used to be great but seems the quality is going down. When it first opened we went but regular ramen noodles were not vegan and they up charged $3 for veggie noodles. Vegan broth is sub par. Used to love the San Antonio flavor bomb but it somehow changed and no longer tastes the same. They recently changed their noodles so all the ramen noodles are vegan is what I was told. We haven't been back since quality went down. Prices are outta gea for what you get. One time I ordered a hot pot and when it arrived the form was in the pot and when I picked up fork it burned my hand because fork had heated up from pot. And I'm not talking just hot, it left a blister on my finger. I couldn't eat food for a out 20 minutes because fork was too hot. Server ignored me when I mentioned it and said it's a hot pot so everything is hot. Not acceptable. Atmosphere is good. Decor is cute. Usually busy but lately I've noticed it's always empty. I have brought family, friends, coworkers to this joint lol This time we decided to try a few new things and really enjoyed the takoyaki fries... super tasty and fun to share. I was craving some heat, so I went with the Cajun ramen. I was warned about the spice level (fair enough!), and it definitely delivered! It hit that spicy craving perfectly, though I did have to stop sipping the broth... it triggered a little coughing fit (IYKYK), but that's on me. Might be a skill issue lol. My daughter had the curry katsu, which she absolutely loved, and my BFF ordered the spicy shoyu, which was also a hit. It's been a while since I have been here but since this Valentines I had a 'date' with my daughters High School soccer game and we were all a bit cold from sitting on the sidelines - a warm bowl of ramen sounded just perfect. This place is just so great ! It was busy with both inside and outside full but service was still fast, friendly and did not miss a beat - this accompanied by a fantastic playlist of largely 90s rap made for a great night! I dropped my dog off at Petco for a New Year's Eve grooming. While I was waiting, I decided to check out this restaurant. I got to the restaurant a little after 11 Am. There was no wait to be seated. The waiter came and greeted me shortly after I was seated. He was very polite and attentive. I started off by ordering a Kirin Ichiban to drink. When he got back with my drink, I ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry Rice. The dish was devious. The chicken was nicely fried. Just a note, the curry is just a topping for the chicken on this dish. Don't expect a bowl of curry on this dish. The place has a casual feel to it. There was a TV towards the back that was playing Avatar the Last Airbender. There are some out there who will be relieved to know that they were showing the series and not the movie. They have what looks like a nice outdoor area. Great food! The ramen had great flavors. The garlic tonkotsu was spicy but sooo good. The chicken ramen is on the non spicy side and was perfect for me. We also got starters of the Takayuki and the chicken bun. The Takayuki is a little too fishy for my taste but my family loved them. The chicken bun was delicious. The chicken was fried pecans the sauce they used was yummy. This place is set off of TPC parkway, in a great easy to get to location. Parking is a little issue but in all I would come back. Our server was sweet and was great ate the recommendations. She was constantly filling our drink glasses. She was amazing! The restaurant itself is cute. I'm a huge ramen conesuer. I lived in Japan for 3 years and needed a ramen fix. I ordered the Ichiran ramen as it's named after one of my favorite ramen chains in Japan. I ordered mine without kikurage (wood ear aka mushroom) and green onions. If you don't mind those items you will definitely enjoy Bakudan's rendition of Ichiran Ramen which was very similar in flavor to the one I would eat in Japan. I also ordered a plate of gyoza (fried dumplings). Everything was flavorful and definitely hit the spot! Great place for a quick lunch or dinner with friends or family. Kid friendly. Great service!
