YF is nice becuz it gives their membership owner one free birthday cup($5 value) per year. Some new released flavours are creative but weird. Classic flavours like red velvet or chocolate are worthy to try.

The Boathouse - high tea spread for two on the patio

Great location and customer service…read more Scones: Decent. A little sweet (which I like), served with whipped cream and strawberry jam. Fruit: The fruit was the best part of all our meals here. It was so fresh and sweet, which I thought would be difficult to find outside of California! I also enjoyed it with cottage cheese, which is not so common at breakfast spots in California unfortunately. Tea: The tea is enjoyable but pretty average when compared to bougier tea spots like The Bruce in Stratford. It's not clear how long I should let it steep for for optimal flavor. I preferred the Winter Dream green tea, which was warm and cozy, slightly sweet. I also preferred the McCrae over the Boathouse blend. The Boathouse blend was a little basic for me, and the McCrae had a slight sweetness that I enjoyed. High Tea: Average - a good price and pleasant experience, especially if the weather is nice enough to eat outside (and catch a bald eagle flying by!). My favorite dessert was the carrot cake cupcake. Ice Cream: Yes, ice cream and tea is definitely a good idea! The banana cream pie tastes like your classic Runts banana flavor (the original banana that got wiped out) and the black cherry has plenty of big cherry pieces. Great servings, and we loved that they served them in reusable bowls instead of disposable ones. Would definitely come again!

A very charming space overlooking the water. The Boathouse is located on 116 Gordon St in Guelph…read more There is parking available right along the paved walkway (angle parking only). If you follow the route, it leads to another bigger parking lot. Parking is free! Reservations are highly recommended. My guest and I made a reservation for two for 1:30pm. It was very busy when we walked in. We got a table right by the door. There were artwork and paintings hung all around the cafe - it was cute. I ordered an afternoon tea set, as well as an extra breakfast burrito for my guest and I to share. There is a tea menu to look at all the various options they have. It was nice to see that they had many options to choose. Our set came with mini sandwiches, scones and dessert and fruits. I would definitely come back to visit - it would be nice to come in the summer and book a table out on their patio.

What a great place! They greeted us as soon as we came in and explained to us how it worked…read more You can get unlimited toppings mixed in, that's impressive. We picked up a couple of regular size in waffle cones (you can choose a cup instead if you prefer) and picked the vanilla ice cream and the toppings. They quickly mixed them up on the cold marble slab and then into the waffle cone. Ever delicious! The Oreo pieces are actually really crunchy--perfect. There isn't a lot of room in this place, so it's pretty much order and take out.

So we went to @marbleslabcanada I ordered the Red Velvet Waffle cone w/ brownies and OH EM GHEE! I finished that shit sooo freaking fast Like how am I suppose to go here again and not order the same thing? Their shop was sooo freakin cute, the way they displayed their waffle cones definitely sold me. If I could by the entire shop I honestly would them cones tho.. were so perfectly light and crunchy. Seriously a mouth watering and scrumptious treat I also ordered a plain cheesecake waffle cone for my boyfriend and although it didn't taste bad, personally to us that was not at all close to a cheesecake. Maybe I should of mixed in some other toppings ‍ but I still feel it should of tasted as good even without. I am for sure going back to get my Slab Club Card fully stamped out!

Amo Gelato was okay. You can get small portions for the price of a regular ice cream cone. I've…read morejust never been that much into gelato. And since I have ice cream or gelato on rare occasions due to diet, I'd rather really indulge and just have ice cream. My wife and her mother liked it very much. They both had chocolate. I tried the caramel cheesecake. Not a big fan. Not incredibly sweet. Seating was rather sparse, so a couple of us needed to stand and eat. I'd suggest spacing out the tables. Half the tables were taken up by one family who had 3 put together - which wasn't really necessary. I mean, who puts their paper cup of ice cream down on the table while they eat? Sorry, gelato!

It was brightly lit during night and definitely made me stop. The interior was cute asf. It was so bright and clean with soft blue walls and little knickknacks scattered throughout the store. My boyfriend and I got the pistachio and white chocolate I believe (I only remember that it was white). The pistachio was thick and creamy. Just the right amount of sweet & tastes amazing. A definite re-buy! The white chocolate was unmemorable. Tasted like sugar with very little of anything else. My boyfriend didn't mind it but the pistachio is def the fave. There is a limit of 3 samples so use them wisely. Price wise it was fair as they do fill the cup to the top and then more.

There is also a bubble tea menu which I hope to explore the next time I'm up this way. We ordered "a brownie thing" on a signature buttermilk waffle with vanilla ice cream. (They also offer green tea and charcoal ice cream flavors). As you can see in the photo, the waffle was a decent size and was enough to share (if that's what you so choose to do). The customer service was pretty good, the aroma of the fresh waffles was amazing and the interior was stylish and welcoming. I highly recommend!

There were maybe 2-3 other tables that were taken. It does seem like a really nice place to study. The place is clean, with soft lighting, and lots of outlets! We ordered a Belgian waffle, with soft serve ice cream, & the mango cheesecake as topping. The total came to $15 which was a little surprising. The food took a little longer than expected. But it came out looking great. The swirl was sesame & vanilla which had hints of both flavors; subtle and not too sweet but it was a little icey rather than creamy. The waffle was fluffy. I did not like the mango or the cheesecake as they tasted somewhat stale. Overall, I think for $15 it was pricey and I would prefer heading to Toronto for a egg waffle for $3 instead.
