The frozen yogurt options are absolutely delicious. It's been years since I've visited and my favorite flavors are still there like the peach, French vanilla and the strawberry . It's actually quite funny, in my sorority when I first came to UCSB, my GBig took me to this exact yogurtland on a "interview" little did I know I would be going to it at least once a month! Great safety measures in place! Visited on a Saturday afternoon with two others. The shop was slightly busy but social distancing was in place. Signs on the floor were marked for 6 foot spacing. Signs on the wall indicated the procedure for getting yogurt... the counter person gives you your cup and a glove. Use the glove to touch the handles and dispense away! If you want toppings, give your cup to the person behind the counter and they will top your yogurt. Pricing was still based on weight. Service was friendly and helpful. The store was clean and well organized. The yogurt and topping selection was wonderful. There were many to choose from! read more

Great experience at this Goleta Yogurt-land. In Santa Barbara the girls look like they don't want to be there and usually on their phones. Here in Goleta they provided great customer service. Guy working there today was very patient and kind. Also attentive- Switched out the gummy worms after noticing a child touch one with their fingers. Went to this location for their FROYO BOGO for National frozen yogurt day "celebration". Was greeted with a sign on the door saying "CLOSED DONT COME IN" well the door was open so I went to ask if it was a mistake, they said they were closing early due to staffing, but kindly said we could come in but that they were gonna lock the door behind us. Very grateful for that. As we were trying create our yogurt, all flavors except three were completely out, not to mention the toppings were almost all gone! The store was also FILTHY I found long black hair in the toppings and everything was sticky. The store definitely lacked hygiene today. When it came to pay, they did not give us the one free cup of yogurt! Why advertise that's it's a nationwide promotion when it's not...? Also to not schedule enough workers to keep the store open for regular hours OR to stock up on all items....? The store closed at 6pm, they were open for six hours... Hmm.... Feb. 3- our experience wasn't acceptable. There were two people working but after walking in we couldn't find sample cups. I asked for some & asked my husband receive some & walked to the machines. Apparently he never got any & was ignored when he asked the cashier. Odd. He complained to me & I went back to the cashier again & asked for some sample cups for him. She acted like nothing happened & gave me some for him. Ok, it happens.... There were limited flavors & they were also under loaded & seemed soft. Underloaded meaning they were very slow to dispense. it was runny yogurt - not fully frozen. Again I can look past this. At check out she rang us up before asking if I had a reward card so my husband gave her cash. my husband gave her $20 (2 $10's)- I said, wait I have a reward card. she swiped my platinum yogurtland card I had 4 oz available which she deducted from the total. She then says, it's X & you only gave me $10. My husband & I looked at each other & said, no he gave you 2 $10's. She then smiles, looks at her coworker & laughs. Saying, "ok" & gave us his change. Couple of issues: - if two people are working, one should give out sample cups since only 1 register was open. The place was very busy- lots of traffic. - ignoring my husband & then you trying to rip him off is not cool, especially since we regularly visit yogurtlands I've been a cashier. If someone gave me the wrong amount I would continue to dispute it & not laugh it off if. If you are a customer & they say you didn't give enough, be weary. We left feeling she was trying to rip us off. I do not intend to revisit this location. This was an off putting experience. read more

I'm not a huge fan of Yogurtland, but my kids like it so we end up there after special events or celebrations rather frequently. Today, we went and their normal COVID restrictions are in place, which is fantastic. However, they have decided not to give any samples during this time. Since they now do all of the work to get your yogurt now and because they charge an excessive amount for yogurt....I don't really understand why they wouldn't allow for 1 or 2 samples when they are frequently changing their flavors. I know that we are all in the new normal of COVID, but some of these changes are not about safety...this seems like one of them. read more

I have patronized this business since it has opened. I go there at least once or twice a month with my daughter. The last two times my daughter went in, and I apologize in advance, but I do not know the employees name. He's a new Asian guy that is usually there around 3. He watches my daughter and I like a hawk! He stands with his arms crossed, making it a very uncomfortable experience. The first time, I let it go. This is the second time ,& I'm over it! When we brought the folks from our retirement community in to Yogurtland we were met by very welcoming and extremely patient staff, especially by the boss. (That's him behind the counter making Shaka in the picture.) The flavors are varied and interesting with a huge variety of toppings. Yogurtland has plenty of interesting froyo flavors to choose from and always at least one no sugar added option! The toppings bar has an impressive selection, too. I only wish they offered sugar free chocolate as well. I usually opt for the no sugar added flavor (most often vanilla and once a delicious pecan) and top it with fresh strawberries and roasted almonds.
