This is my go to fro yo place when I'm craving the stuff. I love that they have cup dividers for when you want more than one flavor, and if you sign up for text alerts they sometimes will send out discounts, and they send an annual birthday deal. Wow wow wow this place had me feeling nostalgic!!! I hadn't been to a frozen yogurt place in years & this was the closest one I could find to my house. It ended up being sooo good & exactly how I remember other frozen yogurt places as a kid. They had a whole wall of flavor options and a great selection of toppings. Favorite froyo in the area. The froyo is really consistent. I've been to many froyo franchises and the consistency of the froyo would never be consistent (sometimes they would be creamy but sometimes they'd be watery or slushy/icy, and nothing is worse than paying by the ounce for slush.. much heavier for less volume) and Yogli has always been great on every visit. Anyone who has an issue seems to not understand the concept of paying by weight....that you must pay for it BEFORE eating, that includes while you wait in line to pay...otherwise that is stealing. Ice cream was not good at all, maybe one or two good flavors out of 24 flavors. They have topping, I got the cookie dough and it didn't taste good at all. Me and my cousin couldn't even finish it. Very un-customer friendly..you cannot sample a particular flavor instead, if youre interested in a flavor, you ask the worker about it..this translates to the worker giving you a description of the flavors and then followed by "I like it, it's very good" well ma'm your taste buds are not my own so just bc YOU like it doesnt mean I will.. Next, the only cup size they have is a large...I think you know what the issue is with that one Finally, there is also no self-serve of toppings...you gotta trust the worker that they give you the amount you say you want... Im not sure what type of business model this is but with so many more friendlier froyo places, I will drive much farther to one than patronize such a stingy business. read more

Oh my.. The response by the "owner" of the store to my review is certainly laughable. I'll ignore the absolute heinous grammar used by a business in response to a customer and just address the response. The cup was not hollowed out, there were 11 ounces of ice-cream still in the cup and all that was "hollowed" out was a bit of yogurt that was on the side of the cup that was licked off. Since you obviously seem to struggle with english and I guess numbers as well, the 12 ounces that you suggested were licked off of the cup was actually about .1 ounces. The funniest part is that no complaint was made until after the cup was already purchased and a receipt was refused for the overcharge which you can see on the cameras. Legal action will be taken! I stopped by here yesterday, I was not sure of their Sunday hours but it turns out that their summer hours are "open until 10PM" every night, winter hours revert back to closing at 9PM. I mixed and a matched several different flavors of yogurts including the Strawberry Tart and the Banana flavors. The yogurt was very tasty. The place was very clean, including the wash room. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. It was very busy with many families last night but the service was quick and very efficient. read more

This person who says she owns the store is insane. Stay away. I asked to taste a sample and she said she didn't do free samples but to let her know if I was interested in one particular flavor. I looked at the flavors and told her I wanted to taste one, thinking that's what she meant. She said again that she didn't do free samples so I asked her what she meant when she told me to let her know if I was interested in one and she said that she meant that she would "further educate me" (I know what chocolate is) on that one flavor and I told her I wasn't interested in education -- that I was there for yogurt. She lost her mind and said I was being rude to her and told me to get out of her store, that she was the owner, and then she threatened to call the police and ran to get her phone. Totally insane. If you do go there, do not ask for a sample. All the other yogurt stores do samples and she's thinking that that means we want free yogurt. Seriously? NOT!!! read more

As the weather starts to warm up, I find myself craving Yogli Mogli more often. Their flavors and flavor combinations are unique and well thought out. The consistency of the yogurt is great and they have a wide toppings selection. Their location is nice and spacious, with an outdoor patio offering. The employee working there on my last visit was the absolute best!! Fro Yo!!! how I adore thee!!! What can I say... even the name is catchy! This is a new fro yo place just opened on this small corner lot. Very clean inside... and the Orange decor color... just pops out at you. Been here several times now. I actually like this place more then Red Mango. why? Cus, it has lots of flavors. And they do switch it up and change some flavors around, so you don't have the same kind all the time. Of course you have your usual flavors, but there are unique flavors such as: banana, dulce de leche, NY Cheesecake, peanut butter, Angel Food Cake, and Thin Mints. I didn't count how many flavors there are, but there must be over 10 different flavors. They also have lots of toppings.. from nuts to fresh fruits... to what i call "bursting juice balls"... If you've been to a Fro Yo place... its the same as every where. Grab the cup, fill it up with Frozen Yogurt... then add the toppings, and it gets weighed.. then you pay. Honestly, this place has become a Park Ridge/Niles staple. There was once a point where Park Ridge had not one, but THREE frozen yogurt places and this is the only one that survived, which I think tells you all you need to know. Great flavors, great toppings, friendly service. I'm personally a huge chocolate person and they have everything I could ask for, but there is also a lot of variety for fruit flavor lovers. There is a parking lot with lots of space outside, and I've never seen it overflowing. Yogli Mogli is a good place to come to with family and friends to enjoy some frozen yogurt, when you're in the mood for something lighter than ice cream. read more

Let me start off by saying that the employee behind the counter was extremely nice. He asked us if we wanted any samples and was ready to get them for us. I tried the banana cream and was sold. It was delicious. If you want, you can put a little divider in your bowl and have a couple different types of ice cream! Personally, I stick with one because I always end up wishing I had gotten less of one flavor and more of another! The toppings include things like fruit, cookie dough bites, whipped cream, hot fudge, broken up ice cream cone pieces, all kinds of candy....pretty moderate size selection. It was also very clean. Big downside--if you're interested in trying a yogurt, one of the workers has to get it for you. You cannot do it yourself. I wanted to try at least 6 different flavors but with them having to dole out the cups one-at-a-time seemed overly watchful. This is the first frozen yogurt place I've been to in the Midwest that doesn't simply present you with the little paper cups. Smacks of chintziness. Also, it ties up the one worker who was there when we visited, so everyone else has to wait. A pity. read more

After many months of work along a deserted stretch of Oakton, it finally opened. I came with my wife and kids to try the frozen yogurt here for the first time. They had a coupon in the local paper, so it seemed they had no shortage of people trying them out too. Once inside, what got me was seeing no pricing or menu on the wall. Then there was a long wall with multiple yogurt dispensers displaying different flavors. At the end was a table with large paper bowls... and even larger ones! No such thing as a "small" or kid-sized... just Big and BIGGER. We were greeted by a worker offering samples of various flavors and explaining how the self-serve yogurt concept works. Fill your bowl, add toppings if you like and then weigh it at the checkout. You pay by weight. How much? Well, get some and find out, right? Now one of these bowls filled to the top would probably have enough to feed all 4 of us but we would look like little pigs eating from it. So we took 4 bowls, filled them with modest, reasonable servings each of us can eat. The interior of each of our bowls were no more than 1/3 filled, giving them an underfilled, unimpressive look. I tried vanilla, kiwi-strawberry and blueberry in mine. My one son tried 3 other flavors and so did my wife. We sampled the spectrum of flavors. The verdict? The yogurt is indeed good tasting. I loved the blueberry, peanut butter and the banana flavors. Even the vanilla was great. Cake batter... not so... Here is how it works, and they got a good ruse going. There is no line for service really since everyone can fill their own bowls. All they do at the end is check your weight of the bowl and you pay for it by the ounce. Our 21-ounce total weight would have been over $10 before the coupon. Pretty pricy for fro-yo and since the bowls are so big, I can see a shocked customer with a $20 bowl of frozen yogurt. Oh, and don't forget the tip bowl at the checkout in case you feel you haven't paid enough and appreciate the good service since they didn't have to fill it for you either. Pardon me, I'll keep my change since I did a nice spiral on my yogurt cup. But on this first day, a hot 100-degree day I should add, this place was a teenage hangout with guys and girls enjoying their yogurt and even more coming in to try it for themselves. Every table was pretty much taken. I'll see how long before this novelty wears off and everyone realizes that a pricy yogurt in a recession won't last. Good flavors, good variety of sprinkles and fruit toppings, but please get some smaller bowls and at least show a price per ounce so people know what they are getting into. read more

Cute name. Seems like these froyo joints are popping up at virtually every corner. What separates this place from other places like Berry Star and Red Mango? Well, I noticed that they actually have people walking around offering services to you. At RM, you sample flavors yourself. Here, a server will offer to do it for you. Not sure if they're afraid you'll abuse the "sampling" of everything or just to keep the place cleaner or have better customer service. I didn't mind being helped personally. Pluses: -Had a lot more flavors to choose from vs other froyo joints. I actually like that they had more chocolate or non fruity options too. -Topping area was cleaner than some other places I've been to. Minuses: -Expensive much? Dude... Lately, a lot of these places are opening up in the Malls. I have never seen a "free standing" one until now. My biggest problem with these places is the "cafeteria dispensary style" that exists there. We went in, and ...so what??? Fro-yo on this side of the NW burbs. Yay! The details: - Frozen yogurt is better for your tummy than ice cream. For realz, well that's debatable actually..for my belly it is. Most frozen yogurt shops must get accreditation from one of very few organizations that ensure they are using product that is wholesome with good digestive enzymes and probiotics. (Supposedly some chains get it and some don't) Per the wall here there is some accrediting mentioned and they will also give you a list of ingredients to their flavors. FYI all frozen yogurt is not free of GMO's, if that matters to you, its up to you to check and see. - 16 different unique flavors and 8 combinations. - Employees walking about the cute shop assisting when necessary. - A taster girl that dispenses any flavor you'd like to try into a taster cup and offers it to you. (This helps them in many ways, I would bet cleanliness is the biggest concern and to stop those that take TOO many free tastes) - Fun, brightly colored atmosphere decked out in glass tile and faux wood flooring. - On the speakers they play the newest in pop and dance music. - Is it odd that a couple of the girls working here are your standard commercialized American in look. Green eyes, blonde hair, cute, high school age and tall. Maybe a hiring thing. - Cost $.46 cents an ounce. That's pricey in froyo terms guys but they are out here standing alone raking in the business. In the burbs froyo shops are few and far between, so you tend to appreciate the small nuances that set them apart. Literally. This one is an uber nice frozen yogurt shop. They also offer outdoor seating with umbrellas. On my first visit I saw a head dude directing his staff about the shop. On hands and knees cleaning up droplets of spills, the young, new blood were learning their way to assisting customers with tasting and weighing. Hopefully it stays this way and we may see many new flavors and updates to the place in the future. I guess with their opening they advertised a Facebook fan page and playable game which is available online. Playing the game from their fan page can score you free merchandise, maybe a kindle or iPad and other exciting gifts (If I remember the advertising correctly). That's some good marketing. Public service announcement about frozen yogurt shops. All froyo spots are the same in how they sell their desserts. Typically its one size of cup which is large and its up to you to govern how much you pump. For an adult that understands cost, at forty six cents an ounce you know not to go crazy. But when an adult brings their children and allows them to pump as they like and then add their own toppings, this can cause that one nice trip to the ice cream shop to become a dilemma on your pocket book. This is where frozen yogurt shops differ from standard ice cream shops. There isn't anyone that steps in to say how many or how much servings is appropriate by cost. They hope you or your child pumps away and therefore rising the per guest cost of each cup. I've seen adults with fire in their eyes when seeing the cost of a single cup of yogurt as high as ten dollars! I too have made the same error when bringing a few nieces with me and not doing a good job supervising their spend. My cup was $1.46, niece one spent $9.50 and the other just over $7 dollars! AArrgh! After eating half they fell asleep and the rest is still sitting in my freezer adding to the other smells in there. read more
