So far I've taken classes with Kimberly, Ali and Tamar…read more overall experience/ambiance created by studio: 4.5 stars instructors I've taken class with: Kymberly: 4 stars Ali: 5 stars Tamar: 2 stars When I'm home, I try for a sampling of MKE's studios, and this one's usually first on the list as it's the neighborhood yoga studio, just a few blocks from our house. This review is specifically for Tamar, whose class I took today. Overall a disappointing experience. The class was advertised as "mixed level" so I brought my mom, who is a beginner. Tamar offered several one or two modifications, but aside from that the class was anything but mixed level. My mom was discouraged and pretty disoriented. The instructor's cues were confusing and she didn't articulate any anatomical alignment points. No adjustments, and a pretty listless sequence, with the instructor forgetting the entire hip sequence on the left side. I understand these things can happen to anyone, and perhaps the instructor just had a bad day. But what I found most disappointing is the apathy toward her beginner student. She didn't follow up with my mom after class, nor did she ask her a single question, although it was pretty apparent my mom had struggled the entire time and left a bit disenchanted. As a yoga instructor myself, I would never leave a student unattended in this manner. I do have to say that the other instructors at this studio presented a much higher level, however, and I will continue to explore and encourage my mom to return to see others as well.

I've also had classes w/the owner and they were quite challenging and inspiring. Space is beautiful, just not a fan of the insense... bugs my allergies. :( Was worried about finding it but isn't too far from Bayshore in a strip mall behind a residential area. They have everything needed for newbie's. I have always felt welcome here regardless of my skill level and never feel pressured to be perfect. But always encouraged to improve my practice. Was in town visiting family over the weekend and had to stop by and check out this location! I live…read morein Chicago and frequent the few locations that they have down here. I was blown away by this location and the experience my mom and I had! The facilities/waiting area outside the studio are incredible. The shower/locker/lounge area is MASSIVE. I know I'm used to the city locations that are pretty small, but the owner's of this one did a great job with decorating and making the space feel like and open. The showers and sinks and bathrooms are also extremely clean and well stocked with hair tools and other things that you would need to freshen up after a workout. We did a ritual yin class on Sunday morning and we had a great experience. The hands on assists weren't rushed and helped to loosen my muscles before and after the yoga (sometimes the ones I've gotten in Chicago are quick since the classes are usually packed). The yin class itself was fine - I wish there had been more challenging poses like pigeon to help open up our hips, but overall it was a relaxing class I'd definitely recommend it after a harder work out or a long week.

He's never done this before so it was a little fast paced for him. The amazing thing is that there's now a class that's not too fast and not too slow!! I think the yin class is too slow so think the align class would be a perfect in between. I imagine bf can learn the poses and gain confidence in the align classes so that we can eventually do the hot yoga class regularly!! The instructor was great! She's very motivational and. she told us we did good at the end of class. She also said she loved hearing our giggles which made me feel better since I thought I was disturbing the practice of others by laughing.

Community, Community, Community. Location, Location, Location…read more Well movement center Pewaukee has an amazing community and the "perfect" location. Everyone you meet and every teacher you take is invigorating, refreshing, and inspiring (for real). The owner,Ronda, is one of the amazing humans you'll meet at Movement Center Pewaukee (MCP), she is one of the magicians that makes the magic happen at MCP. Ronda wants to get everyone moving and she does it by finding and supporting great teachers and offering creative fun classes even yoga on a stand up paddle board. Movement Center Pewaukee is located on Pewaukee Lake and when you are doing one of their 25+ weekly movement classes your view is overlooking the lake and if you hit it at the right time you'll get to see the famous Pewaukee sunset. I want everyone in the Waukesha and Milwaukee area to at least take one class at MCP. You will walk away feeling connected to an inspiring community with a scenic view.

Since I was in town for 2 weeks I was able to try many of the classes and enjoyed every single one I could fit into my schedule. The teachers are very nice and extremely helpful. The Barre class is different each time so you never get bored. Lots of props and combinations. Your muscles are definitely sore from these classes. I had never taken a Pilates class so I was very excited they offered the Pilates Equipment for newbies like me. I only needed that one class and then I was on my way with the other Pilates class. As with the other classes the teacher for Pilates was amazing. Everyone always asks about injuries and limitations and then assists to help you modify when needed. If you are looking for a good workout with a great group of supportive women this is the place for you. I'll be back next time I'm in town on another business trip.

I signed up for a free session and it was my first experience with reformer pilates. It is a very nice and wonderfully maintained space. All of the instructors are amazing, but Jodie is expectational and deserves a special shout-out. She is extremely knowledgeable in terms of anatomy and physiology, very encouraging, and a fantastic instructor. I continued at Club Pilates well beyond my PT graduation as I found it physically and mentally beneficial. I work a fast-pace and demanding job during the summer, and enjoy travel in autumn, so I will likely rejoin in the cold months. It is more expensive than the run-of-the-mill gym spaces but, I personally feel, the instruction and health benefits are worth it. Thank you to all the staff at Club Pilates WFB for helping me both mentally and physically during my recovery. 5 stars for sure :D

I signed up online for a class here on a somewhat rare weekday off…read more Finding the studio was a mild challenge because the building has multiple entrances, but I saw someone walking in with a mat and that gave me some direction. As requested online, I brought my own mat, and props (blocks and blankets) were available in the studio. My weekday morning class was small, about four others, but the flow ended up being just right after a stretch without any organized yoga classes for me. I have been watching their calendar for more classes that fit with my schedule.
