I do wish the instructor would have made adjustments or assisted with poses - maybe that's not normal for yoga classes, but for other workout classes i've taken it really makes a huge difference as it helps you understand exactly how a pose is supposed to feel. The instructor was great though, as was the class as whole. The reason for four stars instead of five: the building is confusing and it's tough to find their space. The signs say to go to the third floor, but their address on google says 2nd floor. Additionally, there was constructions/drilling going on on the floor during the class and quite a few people outside of the studio talking loudly which made it difficult to relax/concentrate on the breath/flow. Not sure if the door was left open or the walls are just thin - but that was a major negative in my opinion. Though assuming that was atypical, I would certainly come back.

The studio is upstairs and has lockers for your things as well as plenty of equipment to borrow! Michelle was such a welcoming instructor and lead a fantastic class. I'd never done hot yoga before but the room was very inviting and toasty but not at all uncomfortable. Michelle have lots of reminders to hydrate and was very receptive to questions!

There are mats, boosters, and blankets for you to use if you do not have your own. Which you can absolutely bring and use if you choose. Katie is such a grounded, sweet and talented yogi. I left my practice feeling invigorated and peaceful.

It reinforced the idea that I had to make time to care for myself in spaces that make me feel good with people who support my growth and on days when I least feel like doing it The best wishes to this business. The fitness studio is on the second level of a cross fit studio (aka an old auto mechanic garage), but once you find your way to the second story yoga studio, it's a perfect experience from there. The studio has small class sizes, 3-6 people generally, and good class pass/deals periodically. I did the May Cleanse pass which was 30 days of yoga for $30- an incredible deal. They have the same deal right now for teachers, which unfortunately I am not. There's a good variety of classes/instructors. I have enjoyed Marissa's Friday Easy Warrior class as a perfect way to end the week and have found all the instructors helpful and informative, while not being too pushy for beginners. I recently started going Wednesday's nights which include a much tougher flow practice for those who like more movement and less meditation. Would highly recommend, and like most studios- your first class is free. Getting there: The studio is right off the Oak Leaf bike, so it's very convenient (and healthy!) to get to by bike, or there is plenty of parking lot space if you choose to drive. Enter the main door, and head straight back to the stairway to take you to the second floor. There are generally crossfit folks lounging or stretching and can help point you to the stairs if needed.

This weekend I tried MKE Yoga Social for the very first time. This was their special full moon yin…read moreyoga and sound bath. I did not expect it to be so freaking awesome! The instructor Baobi Noel has a very warm, inviting voice and instantly made me feel comfortable. This yoga session was inside the Pabst brewery and hence all the photos of it. I captured the actual event with my eyes and hence don't have any photos of the sound bath session. Baobi guided us thorough an hour of yin yoga taking us through the different poses, making it very important for us to know that this session is our practice and to take poses as it feels comfortable. That coupled with sound bath maestro- Jordan, this whole session transitions one to a whole new state of mind. The combo of the sounds and vibrations of the quartz bowls, metal bowls and the gongs were in perfect harmony and i was pretty much put into a state of blissful trans and I had a blank mind (which does not happen often). I emerged from this session refreshed, grateful and with peace. Also tried their goat yoga and I absolutely recommend it. I recommend everyone to check out their sound bath class for sure. Can't wait to try their other classes to. ‍

Participated in the first ever New Year Nude You Yoga retreat. Three days of body positivity,…read moremindfulness, self care, community, new experiences, and new friends. The mindful activities helped to develop focus on myself and how I want to exist in the world. The mindful eating workshop with Chef Alsy was mind-blowing. There is so much to be gained by taking moments to appreciate all the senses that play a part in consumption. The meditation and flow classes held by Jessica and Baobi were incredibly relaxing and body opening. I'll be looking forward to the next event.

Whether it be a successful business person looking for leadership skills, a veteran looking to be heard, a couple looking for conflict resolution, a mother looking for help, or a sexual abuse victim looking to forgive, the center has the experience, the staff and the tools to help. I became involved with the center in 1999. After attending an accountability workshop I brought my wife to a weekend workshop. Eventually we went through some programs together. It continues to provide a language to our relationship that has helped us to stay together through some failures and into a higher sense of accomplishment and success. It definitely helped me to reassess my professional career and I am more successful than ever. Based in a mish mash of various technologies including tools from many business leaders of the day, you will create the path unique to you as you are taught didactically and experientially to feel and to sense the world around you and how you show up in it. You can't change what you don't acknowledge, but with these tools you can't help but recognize the world around you in a different way. I have nothing but respect for Patricia and her staff for operating with a sense of integrity and focused dedication to what they teach. I HIGHLY recommend the programs.

I just attended my first Barre class ever at Barre District Lake Country! I loved it! It was a full…read morehouse for an event with 22 participants and they had three instructors sprinkled throughout to make sure everyone could see what was going on. The instructions were easy to follow along with, the playlist was marvelous and it was hard! I loved how sore I was the next day from working muscles I typically don't work a lot of the muscle they hit (news to me! Ha!). The instructors were all lovely and so friendly. I ended up buying 20 classes after class and can't wait to get back! The studio is so nice as is overlooks the lake and they offer childcare for some of the morning classes which is awesome!

The instructors (Khalil & Elly) are outstanding, the classes are fun and I walk out of each class sweaty and tired!
