The studio owner Terik is incredibly welcoming and always goes out of their way to make everyone feel at home. That personal touch makes a real difference. Whether you're looking to build physical strength, or find a deeper sense of peace and balance, GLO is the place to be. Located on the far side of the Livermore outlets Glo Yoga Studios modern and clean. The high ceilings are a plus since it was Hot. The front desk staff is helpful and friendly. 5 participants plus the instructor. The poses are hard for a beginner but I tried to keep up. All in all it was a good experience.

Sadly, I'm thinking seriously though of ending my $229/month unlimited membership because of the cancellation policy. If I wake up and see that later meetings have been booked for me, and I can't make a 5pm or 6pm class, I feel that if I opt out of the class by 9 or 10 or 11am for that evening, that is ample time for the next person in line (usually a wait list) to be psyched to have secured a spot. To be charged $15.00 when that happens doesn't seem equitable. They've easily filled the spot -- and they are charging a cancellation fee. Life happens, and I understand if people just don't show up. Charge them. I strongly request and encourage ownership to consider 6 hour window, instead of the current 12 hours. Went to bed last night feeling a migraine coming on. Cancelled at 9:30pm for my 9am class this morning and woke up to a $15.00 charge. Policy needs to change, or I'll have to try another venue.

I regret signing up for the year-long unlimited membership because I realistically only take about two classes per week, as there are very few classes offered later in the day, (and zero on Wednesday afternoons). The ones that are available fill up very quickly. That said, there are a couple of great instructors here--Lyn and Joon are both fantastic and make the classes enjoyable. Overall, I'm disappointed with how inconsistent the studio has become and would hesitate to recommend this location.

After so many deep tissue massages that left me with days of recovery, it is a tremendous boon to get work from someone that knows how to move stuff around without the 'grind'. She has also given me many good exercises to work on problem areas. There is no modality she won't explore. She has a great talent for intuiting what needs work and makes this easy with pleasant conversation and clear feedback on what is going on. Her work with me helps me stay more active and moving which is great for chronic pain. I feel like I have more of my life back.
