I came across Intensity X3 on both Yelp and Google when looking for kickboxing studios in the…read moreWeston/Sunrise area as I could easily get to a spot after work for a workout. I submitted a request for a first class through their website and Karina called me very shortly thereafter to try to setup my first class. They also followed up through text, and I promptly setup my first class for later in the week. They also followed up with me the day of to ensure I would be making it or if I needed to reschedule. I really loved how customer focused they were and was a great sign to me how much the business prioritizes customer service. For your first class, you have to start with a Kickboxing 101 class, which is essential. Karina shows you around the studio, talks about the format of the class to come, and provides a brief overview of some standard punches and kicks. I have done a few boxing classes before and I still found the Kickboxing 101 class very helpful as a recap reminder session and the classes they have at Intensity X3 are handcrafted so it's good to see how they have their classes formatted before you get started. During my last class, Catt also introduced herself to me as one of the leaders and checked on my form a few times throughout class and I've had a few amazing classes with both Markus and Karina who put on amazing classes, great coaches and really were very explanatory in their demos and pushed me and the other class members to really push us to our limits. The studio, coaches and the entire class format are quite amazing and I'm looking forward to continuing my classes at Intensity X3!

Listennnnn, I really broke a sweat faaarealll. The staff was super upbeat early in the morning and I don't even like talking to people that early! But they were legit: correcting form, checking in, motivating you through every round. + The Workout ___________________ Classes start every 10 minutes so smart especially if you are a busy person. You rotate through 4 circuits, 10 minutes each, and the trainers guide you through the whole thing. It's intense! The vibe? Very community, not one of those gyms where you feel stared at. + Location ________________ It's in that big plaza in West Pines (you know, with Sam's Club or Costco). Tons of parking, but if you're late, that walk is brutal in the SoFlo heat. Inside is small but super clean, new equipment, and they use every inch of space. Grand opening had free towels, water bottles, and local vendors. + Customer Service: 10/10 + Overall Experience: 10/10 + Would I Be Back? ______________________ Probably not. I'm not spending a small fortune on fitness, especially when I have access to multiple gyms through a work app for just $40/month. As a RN, I try to be smart with my coins and this spot, while great, is just too pricey for the size and setup. Finding the perfect gym, that motivates you and feels like home is rare. I've searched high and…read morelow; and I finally found it at Tapout Fitness. Tucked in a small Publix plaza, Tapout Fitness offers premiere martial-arts infused workouts with highly trained coaches and trainers. If the name Tapout sounds familiar, it's because Tapout Fitness is an extension of the Tapout clothing brand, that officially sponsors combat sport fighters in UFC and WWE. Personally, as a lover of MMA and UFC, I was immediately impressed. Unlike other kickboxing/boxing style gyms, Tapout Fitness is truly focused on teaching proper techniques of each fighting style. Each trainer has extensive martial arts experience and tailor makes workouts that professional fighters practice with all the time. Some workouts are fully focused on kickboxing combinations and techniques, while others also include resistance and interval training exercises with battle ropes and kettle bells. So regardless of your fitness level, you're still getting an amazing workout. On the days I feel like going solo and working at my own pace, I really enjoy the Tapout 20 circuit workouts. Although, they're promoted like a 20 minute workout, I usually triple it for an extra sweat factor. Tapout Fitness literally fulfills everything I ever wanted in a gym and I couldn't recommend it more! I love it here!

He is an exceptional asset to the club. He thoroughly explained the membership offerings and facilities, and thoughtfully matched us with trainers and classes aligned with our goals. He has consistently served as a supportive and reliable point of contact. I joined in September 2025 after more than a decade without regular exercise and was completely out of shape. My husband, while naturally active, had never worked out in a gym environment. Based on our medical needs and age--both of us in our 50s--Aaron recommended we train with Matthew Rossello. Matthew is an extraordinary trainer: highly knowledgeable, upbeat, energetic, and genuinely invested in our well-being and progress. Each session is unique, engaging, and tailored to our needs. On days when I feel unmotivated, knowing that Matthew will make the workout both enjoyable and rewarding is what gets me through the door. In just four months, both my husband and I have made progress we never imagined possible. Aaron also recommended Pia's indoor cycling classes, and she has been fantastic. Pia is incredibly entertaining, curates great music, and designs classes that are dynamic and motivating. Her sessions incorporate a variety of movements and speeds, and even include a brief meditation. I truly look forward to her classes--something I never expected to say about cycling! We have also come to enjoy yoga classes with Angela. She brings a calming, mindful approach that helps relax both body and mind, while offering stretches that leave us feeling renewed. The club overall is excellent. The facilities are comprehensive and consistently clean, and the food is outstanding. My only suggestions would be to address maintenance needs in the showers and consider enlarging the sauna--along with adding a more visible clock. Despite these minor points, our experience at Midtown has been overwhelmingly positive, and we look forward to being members for many years to come.
