Strawberry Walnut Salad, Mac 'n Cheese

Yesterday me and my cafe companion went to check out Yofresh Yogurt Cafe. Everything we ordered was so good! From the fresh strawberry salad to the delicious Mac and cheese. And of course the frozen yogurt Go check them out! The owners are so nice and provide excellent service.

Really like this place! Yo-Frsh A great part of the community and just adorably cute. I've been looking for a place to hangout in Evanston in a non-pretentious way and also not end up smelling like a pot of freshly roasted coffee. FroYo is fun, lots of board games, I could definitely spend some time here taking in the nice sound track, playing some games and devouring some fro-yo. My kids loved the place as we played a "quick" game of Jenga...(umm how about not pulling two pieces on the same row). - took longer to setup than play! Free WiFi and snacks like pizza. Good for studying / reading to pass the time away for sure! Whenever I'm in Evanston - I'll definitely need to come back! Located in a strip mall right next to Walgreens (great place to wait for prescription refills!) Free parking in the parking lot in front.

Bahama Mama Smoothie - really more of a milkshake as it is made with froyo

I came here on a Saturday afternoon for a smoothie and to read over some work. The entire back of the store had been turned into a kids bookclub event, so I found myself at one of the bistro tables in the front that had a cold breeze every time someone opened the door. I waited in line behind another group for nearly 10 minutes before I ordered. The three workers seemed overwhelmed by the book club's orders. While waiting and growing increasingly annoyed, I thought about leaving to go to Dollop Coffee down the street, but decided to stay because it's a local business that clearly has a lot of Evanston pride (look at all the pictures on their walls!) and because I had a 20% off deal through yelp. Once I finally ordered the Bahama Mama smoothie it came out pretty quickly. The "smoothie" turned out to be a milkshake made with the froyo they sell which wasn't what I was necessarily expecting. Nevertheless, it was good and I was happy that I had gotten a workout in earlier. Next to me, a couple ordered food (beef hot dog and soups) and drinks and were raving about both. As their discussion turned to their relationship issues, I was incapable of tuning them out and with nowhere else to sit I had to leave early. Even though this wasn't the best experience, I'll probably be back to try it again at a time when they are less busy. Overall, it's a good place for a neighborhood meetup in a place that's more homey than Dollop.

This might be the most ironic review on Yelp seeing as how I have been most excited about the arrival of cheesecake bites at this shop, but my most recent visit sadly featured moldy cheesecake ): I only noticed when I arrived home and tried to call the shop from the number on their website, but was greeted with a recording that stated the number wasn't in service. It would not be an overstatement to say I am heartbroken over this.

Pretty friendly staff. The froyo is better than in other froyo stores in Evanston. Space is a little disorganized, but it is worth a visit if youre looking for a good froyo. P.s try the watermelon and the pomegranate flavors.

I used to hang out in this area for three years straight for dance class and grad school and just totally overlooked it. It was founded in 1988, and I have no clue when it came to Chicago though so maybe I didn't. I just had a sweet tooth after leaving Blue Sushi across the street (and didn't realize they had a dessert menu). I could not care less about cake, donuts or pie, but I can demolish ice cream and/or candy like nobody's business. The problem is, as a second-round vegan, it's tough for me to find nondairy desserts. I poked my head in here 99.9% sure they were going to say everything was dairy. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they had a new Silk chocolate almond milk ice cream. I wish I caught the lady's name that was there today because she was so bubbly and friendly. When I stared at her in confusion after she asked me did I want "Like it, Love It or Gotta Have It," I realized this order was about to be involved. I like the way that the employees mix your toppings around in the ice cream instead of dumping them on top where you end up eating them way too fast. A family member stopped to take my pic while I tasted a spoonful, and I guess I looked extra happy because I caught the lady behind the counter smile as big as I did. Happiness is contagious. Anyway, love the place. Love my almond milk frozen dessert. There's only one table to sit at and someone was there, so I flopped down on a nearby bench and enjoyed my birthday sweet!

My son ordered 2 scoops of cookies n cream ice cream (with sprinkles of course) and I got moose tracks! The ice cream is the real deal. Our server was super sweet, and we were in and out of there in probably 30-45 minutes. We had the best time and will definitely be back this summer.

(The fact that the joint's been around for over 100 years doesn't hurt either.) It's a small restaurant but we managed to snag a cozy table near the back. We'd already spent most of the day eating, so we decided to share the Atomic Fudge Sundae. It's a fairly enormous concoction. I found it interesting that the hot fudge was served on the side, but it's actually pretty smart because you get control how much (or how little) sauce you get. The ice cream is the highlight. It's creamy and rich, and it's got a really nice flavor, too. The hot fudge was less impressive, but that might be because I had already eaten a Ghirardelli sundae earlier in the day and their hot fudge just can't be beat. The service was super friendly and the atmosphere was kitschy and fun. It's a cool place.

Together, they were the perfect duo: One short, one tall. One dark, one bright. Both completely magical. When I went the menu was wizard of oz themed, I got the "flying monkey sundae" which came with oreos, this really delicious bubble gum (I think) flavored sauce, and waffle wings. As the base I got the swirl of the seasonal flavors of pistachio and cranberry (pink and green to fit the theme lol) both of which were really good, though I preferred the pistachio. It looked so cute when it came out and also tasted delicious with all the toppings together. I wish I lived here so that I could come back to try their constantly rotating menu. It seems the menu theme changes at least once per month. They also sell pints of ice cream and have a few fresh baked goods such as cookies and rice krispies, and I also saw one savory option for a Brazilian cheesebread. They also had some packaged vegan candy bars and other treats. Everything they make/sell is completely vegan and most of it is gluten free as well! Portion sizes are pretty big, the kid's size is definitely enough for a substantial dessert. Staff was really nice and they have a nice bathroom as well. Many places to sit inside and decor is very inviting. Highly highly recommend!
