This place has gone so downhill. At one time they had people there who actually listened to what you want, now they just run through customers & give everyone the same thread. I've been going here since I moved to Miami 4 years ago & after the last 2 times I'm never going back again. I worked so hard to grow out my brows & thicken them up only for them to be STRIPPED THIN to little pencil brows with no shape like it's 2001. After I CLEARLY SAID "do not take all of the new hairs, only the ones way far off from the shape that must go. I'm growing them out" my eyebrows have not been this thin since high school... & right before a big trip. On top of everything, parking here sucks. Go elsewhere. read more

I have never had any issues coming to Yodi! However the last two visit have been awful. I find that I am waiting a while to get my eyebrows threaded because the check in girl loses track of who is coming in when. I am very excited they are opening a location closer to me down on biscayne and I hope that there is some one better at check in. Today I walked in and sat down, there was one person waiting ahead of me. However someone came from the back and sat down to be threaded before the two of us and no one said anything to us. I use to be able come in and have my face threaded and out in 30 mins. I am still waiting now and the last time I was here I waited 45 mins and only had my eyebrows done because I had to go. NOT SURE ABOUT THIS NEW CHECK IN GIRL!!! I miss the owner and her daughter! read more

Decent threading salon. Clean facility and actually use hair removal thread which is a plus!

My nails came out, cuticles completely gone and gel polished lasted two weeks. Good customer service as well

Service is quick and the price is great. However, I have since stopped going as the work has not been that great. I've had several times that extra hairs were removed to the point that I am still dealing with having to fill them in everyday on the corners. The good thing is that even if they are busy, it goes quick which actually may not be a good thing as not enough time is spent in each person. read more

Lousy job and rude staff. They don't even ask how you would like your eyebrows to be done. They always look that they are in such a hurry and try to get rid of you asap. Fortunately, there are more salons in the area that are offering eyebrows threading so there is no need to go back to this place. read more

I'm just selecting one star cause I can't select zero. I made an appointment yesterday for today at 5:00pm. Someone call me at 4:37 and ask me if I can arrive earlier, I said no and we keep the appointment for 5:00pm. When I arrive the receptionist send me to another room, where I see two manicurists, one is assisting another client and the other one was eating. Nobody says anything. 5 min later I ask who will be assisting me then the lady that was eating said it was her and I could select the color. 2 minutes later I show her the color and she brings a different one from the pallet, despite the number is the same. Then I asked her to match that color no matter what number was on it. Then she tells me to hurry up because she had to assist another customer at 5:30pm. She wasn't friendly at all, very rude since the beginning as if I was doing her a great favor to pay for her services. I walked away to never return. It's a shame because the location was very convenient, my everyday commute. They lost a customer or three more. read more

New to Miami, I was hesitant to choose an eyebrow place. After reading the reviews, I gave Yodi Threading Spa a try and was not disappointed! Every time I go without an appointment and they've seated me promptly. I am blonde and therefore not only thread my brows, I also tint them. I've been twice and I have had different technicians; both heard my concerns about not threading them too thin and getting the color right. They took special care to tint my brows, not just put the dye everywhere, which I appreciate very much. The experience is quick, clean, and worth every penny. *They do not allow tip on credit card -- you have to Venmo or give cash so keep that in mind when you go!* Thank you Yodi Threading Spa!! read more

I had a great first experience at this salon, took advantage of their $45 shellac manicure and regular pedicure special. I forgot the girl who did them but she did quite a good job and was very friendly. The staff seemed very professional and all the equipment is sterilized. Came to Miami on vacation & based on Yelp reviews came here to get eyebrow threading and pedicure. They told me they wouldn't have an availability until 12 for a pedicure so I said okay, I'll wait. I waited until 12:30 until a girl was available. She starts and I smile at her, she ignores me and doesn't say a word. She FILES MY SKIN OFF and I start bleeding copiously. She POURS RUBBING ALCOHOL ON IT and I cry out in pain. The receptionist comes over to see what's wrong and they pour water on it to wash off. My pedicurist keeps trying to dunk my bleeding feet underwater. The receptionist asks why I'm so sensitive as I'm crying from the alcohol and qtips she's jabbing at my wound. I get up to leave and she says wait, aren't you finishing your pedicure? I say no. She says okay, gives a FOUR DOLLAR discount and I pay just to get out of there as fast as possible. STAY AWAY. Came with my sister for her to get a shellac manicure. The manicurist barely said two words and started working on her nails. My sister had one thumb nail broken and asked the lady to cut her nails to match it. This translated to her cutting all of her nails different lengths and shorter than the broken nail she wanted to match. Two of her fingers actually hurt from the nail being so short. When asked why she cut them so short and so sharply square that they hurt: her response was "well what do you want me to do now? We always have our eyebrows threaded here and it's a delight, but they have serious incompetence going on in the nail department. Now the nails have to grow out while being constantly filed so they don't jab into her fingers as they grow. We're going to dispute the charges because 28$ for such a horrible manicure is an outrage. Ps. No one reached out to her and offered any help despite her showing the girl at the front her nails and everyone agreeing it was botched. read more

I usually would get my eyebrows done here, but today the service was extremely disappointing. I called at 7:12pm to ask at what time they take their last customer because I really need to do my brows the lady said 7:50pm. I get there at 7:45pm and they didn't open the door for me because they had about 5 people waiting in line. I'm disappointed, I rushed to get there on time but was turned down because there were others waiting. If you take the last person at 7:50pm then do so. read more

I'm a regular and have been going to this location for the past 2 years. However today I was extremely disappointed and upset. There was a new girl working, and I decided to try her out since the other girl wasn't available. I had my upper lip threaded and she made both the corners of my mouth bleed. After checking it in the mirror I told her it was bleeding and that has never happened in the history of me being threaded. She tells me that I didn't hold my lip properly and that's why I got cut. I told her this was not okay and walked out because I was too upset to argue. I will never go back to this place again! read more

I've been coming to this place about two years, religiously to get my eyebrows done every two weeks. Last week, I showed up and I had forgotten my purse at home it was pouring, just a crazy day for me but luckily once I made it and realized i forgot my purse I found in my car I had about 8 dollars bills and then $2 in change, I don't live close by there so i couldn't just turn around and drive home. I explained this to the owners daughter that sometimes or most times runs the front desk, I told her about my grief and how embarrassed I was to be paying in coins, that woman told me that I was lucky because usually they don't accept change as payment. What kind of response and customer service is this? What kind of snobby person says this? And who says quarters, nickels and dimes aren't money? read more

Hi Yodi Spa - it isn't that it is darker. The shape was completely wrong. The lady made me look like Frankenstein and sadly part of the tint was off, so I had two big eyebrows with a line sticking out. The lady thought it was good and I pointed to her how she over did the lines and one portion was sticking out (was outside of the eyebrow thicken line). She was going to leave it and I told her to take the whole thing off. Since the tint still stayed on eyebrows, it was obvious her error and the staff still made me pay for her mess up. So yes, I didn't like the shape of the tint plus how overboard the lady went. read more

I am an out of town person but I guess my expectations are way too high. This place was unprofessional, lady made me bleed twice and said I had "sensitive cuticles" when I have a lady in Chicago I go to on a bi-weekly basis and has never made me bleed. The whole ambience is uncomfortable. The chairs, the space, under construction. Two of the nail techs were bothered by the clients. I come to Miami 1-2 a month and I will never come here again. My 5 stars is only for Nikki! Not only is she skilled with her art of threading, but she's always calm, friendly and pleasant - even when the rest of the staff seems stressed or in a hurry. Nikki has this magical way of making my eyebrows look even fuller! While I've experienced some of the other threaders take off way too much even when you ask them not to... Basically, this place is good as long as you find the right threader. read more

The place is very small but not hard to find if you are familiar with Biscayne Blvd. I have bee here twice. The ladies there are nice and do understand that eyebrows are a sensitive subject. You simply tell them what you want and they get it done. Both times that I have gone I was greeted with a smile and the wait was 5-10minutes max, even when I did not have an appointment. Relka, the Indian lady that does my eyebrows was very sweet and cautious. She's funny and loves sharing the music on her ipod with the shop hahah! I was tired of driving to Doral for eyebrow threading so this newly added eyebrow salon worked out perfect for me. I am glad to see that the Downtown/Midtown area is rapidly growing with good customer service businesses. I will definitely be going back soon. read more

Came here for a quick in and out and that's exactly what I got. The eyebrow lady was very sweet and did an amazing job. It's a tiny place, maybe 200 sf, so I imagine if there is a sait, it might be a while. I'm not even sure they take cc. I would highly recommend abd this is for sure my go to eyebrow place. The lady did what I asked for but being a new customer the service was a little cold. When one lady was done with her client she just sat there on her phone and allowed me to proceed waiting making a nail technician do my brows. I felt unwelcome so after she asked if they were ok I just said yes tipped and left. If I REALLY needed them done again I may consider going back in the meantime I'm still hunting for a great eyebrow spot in my area. read more

I have been going to Jennifer to get my eyebrows threaded for two years. I never trust my eyebrows with anyone but after I moved to Miami i had to find someone and I am so glad that I found Jenny! She is always friendly, greets me with a smile and now I don't even need to tell her what I want, she does it automatically. I love my eyebrows every time and never disappointed (and I am very picky). She is the best and I have given the other girls that work there and chance (when Jenny was not there) but never again. Normally I would only go to Barbie because she's the best! However when Barbie was sick I decided to go with Jennifer the girl closest to the window. She destroyed my eyebrows! She's the absolute worst chopped off half my eyebrow & tried to blame it on me. She wasn't even apologetic about the huge mistake she had done! I don't recommend anyone to her. Nikki is supposedly the best threader in the salon. I'd have to disagree. She did an okay job the first time & on only my second visit she thinned out my eyebrows after waiting so long to grow them out, on top of that she made them different from each other and she didn't even take ownership of it, she said it wasn't her.
