Jennifer is my new favorite threader, I feel no pain when she does it The nail station is always clean and they sanitizer everything (it's visible) you can see the blue sanitizing liquid for the nail tools. They have specials from Monday - Thursday $28 for mani/pedi (regular polish) and $45 for shellac. You have to make an appointment in advance, which I love because I don't have to wait. Yodi Eyebrows on Biscayne Blvd just ruined my eyebrows!!!! Saleema needs to come back ASAP!! I went in for eyebrow threading but got a massive hair cut. Unfortunately I did not get the ladies name but her face is forever etched in my head as one to stay clear away from. She cut away damn near all the length of my eyebrows. Have we forgotten that fullness/thickness comes from the length of the hairs laying atop one another....oh but I guess artificial fullness is in. . Guess I have to look ugly for a few months so they can grow in before my engagement pictures in 2 months. OH but WAIT, the length she took off will definitely take 4 months to grow back.....so I guess thanks are in order for you ruining my engagement photos! Signed a very unsatisfied customer. read more

I was surprised at how difficult it is to find threading services here in South Florida. Then came Yodi. Currently I'm kicking myself for not being able to remember my threader's name, but she was a wonderful Nepali woman. I was one of the last people in right before closing, and despite that she took her time with me, made sure to be thorough and did not rush the job because of the time. I know how to thread myself, so I'm still currently perplexed by how she could make threading less painful than it usually is! Of course my skin was red and sensitive, but my actual pain factor was way lower than any threading experience I've had. I take out one star just for the prices. Yes it's located in Midtown, yes the services they offer are not frequent for the region so there isn't much competition, no I didn't mind paying because of the service that I got - but it's still the most I've had to pay for threading anywhere. read more

Terrible attitude from nail employee, you can tell they think they run the business/they can do whatever they want, therefore due to that attitude and gossip behavior you come second. She left me hanging for 15 min- waiting for her , after she had greeted me and told me to sit- when I decide to go look for her in the Kitchen , her answer is: I am eating. Unacceptable when she knew I was there waiting- mgmt should not book during lunch hours and the employee should be train with manners and customer service skills. I never review, This is my first review ever as it is unacceptable to be a regular at a place and get this type of service. This was the last drop. This place is FUEGO, you need to check it out. After reading a few reviews I was a bit hesitant to initially gave this place a try, especially since I had grown my eyebrows out for close to 3 months to try and reshape them. Yodi's is literally around the street for me so I figured I'd give them a try and I really can't rave enough about them. The salon is in a little bit of a run down plaza and parking in the back is a little tight, but those are really the only negatives I could come up with. The salon is clean, quick and the service is magical. I went in on Thursday to get my eyebrows done, Jennifer was the first to become available and she called my name so I sat in her chair and she got right to it. I told her that I wanted them thick and just to clean them up but have them remain their natural shape--she did a bomb job. While I can certainly say she wasn't overwhelming friendly she did listen to what I said and did an incredible job I was really happy. Then I asked her to dye my eyebrows a shade or two darker than my natural color and again she did a magnificent job. Even asking me if the color was to my satisfaction or if I wanted her to reapply the dye. I liked this place so much that I told my cousin about it and brought her back the following day to get her eyebrows done and I figured I'd sit in the chair one more time to get my eyelashes tinted this go around. Elizabeth took excellent care of me and literally guided me through the whole eyelash tinting process (I was a first-timer) she did an incredible job and now "I wake up this", slaying like Beyoncé with magnificent brows and lashes. read more

I was visiting Miami Beach and had the mission to get my brows done because I didn't manage to have them threaded before i left LA. I was shocked to see there wasn't many options. I ended up going to Yodi despite the mediocre reviews it had. Overall, my eyebrows came out OK and weren't ruined but the threader did remove a little to much off the tail of my right eyebrow, making it a little shorter than the other. It's hardly noticeable and is easily fixed with a bit of makeup however this is serious because brows don't always grow back the same if you remove too much. The threader spoke little English which made me feel uncomfortable when attempting to communicate what I want. The receptionist spoke better English but she didn't begin chiming in until I expressed my frustration about my eyebrow. They took $4 or so off the service charge. GET YOUR BROWS DONE AT YOUR PLACE BEFORE COMING TO MIAMI. read more

Best place ever!. I have always done waxing or tweezing to my brows and never liked it. I was in NYC two months ago and I done threading there and I loved it. Absolutely amazing!! The girls that work here work incredible, I'm extremely picky with my nails and eyebrows and every time I go somewhere else I end up regretting the decision.. They expanded not to long ago and I'm very bad with names but the blonde girl who does the nails and has been there before the expansion it's amazing! Very reasonable price and make sure to make an appointing because she's always booked! For eyebrows I have two fav, Jenny and then the Indian lady that sits in the middle .. Solid threading place, reasonably priced. They take you right away and are done in less than 10 minutes. I also got a regular manicure very clean and professional decent assortment of colors. Ive had my brows threaded here a few times. I hand not gone in a very long time but recently went back when someone messed by brows up.. The girl from Nepal that took me did such a wonderful job at fixing them that I wanted to cry from happiness i went back again and the girl from Nepal was on vacay. Another girl took care of me this time. As nervous as I was I desperately needed them threaded. I didnt get the girls name but she also did a lovely job. I've been very happy. For nail part I wouldnt go. They didn't do a great job and found the girls to be catty and their areas not clean or sanitary. I actually left their and got them redone and paid a second time at the salon next door. I didnt matter how cheap they charged, you get what you pay for. So nails no but threading most definitely. I could give 3.5 stars but chose 5 stars because the girls in the threading area I see work hard and their customer service with the clients are personable and they are very professional. The nail section is what will keep dragging them down. They should just make both sides threading only. They would probably make more money and attain and keep more clients. read more

So, I walked into Yodi's Spa with an intent to have a full face threading done. It would be my first time getting it done, so I was pretty excited and ready to get it over with. They're great at doing walk-ins here, but I won't recommend a full-face threading here. I asked the lady if she could do a full face threading and she said she couldn't, so I had to go to another place. She did my lip and eyebrows though and they were great. I'd recommend this place for those things, but not a full face threading! I give it a 5 stars for the eyebrows and upper lip, but 4 stars rating since I wanted a service that was advertised and that could not be provided. :| Also parking is in the rear or on the street. read more

I've been here twice and will continue to go back. You don't need an appointment and can be seen either right away or after a short wait. I see Nicky and will continue to go to her. After years of waxing at European wax center for my sensitive skin, it's nice to get threaded which is more painful but much better for my skin... Beauty is pain! Went in for a Mani pedi and decided to get my eyebrows done before I leave left. I told the lady how I wanted to keep mine long and thick and explained the scar above my left eye and told her how it's never even so not too worry about it, she was very gentle and paid extra attention to maintaining the legend I wanted. When she was finished I was amazed to see my eyebrows actually identically shaped abd lengthy as ever. Her name is Suru and she is THEE BEST. They do an ok job, but if you don't like to be ignored when you walk in and you don't like to be treated awful with no respect or consideration as a customer , then don't bother going. Sometimes they are good, sometimes they aren't ( one girl took half of one of my brows off once) ... but always they are rude and disrespectful of customers. So as you can tell by my last disgruntled review, I stayed away from Yodi for a while but if you know me and you know my eyebrows i had to find a solution because au naturale was not going to last. Lucky me one day I walked in and a lovely Persian lady was working at the salon! I knew I would never have to worry about my eyebrows again as long as I lived in Miami. (MAJOR claim). And I was right! Asita is the best. Don't settle for anyone else. So glad she came into my eyebrow life!! She always has a wait (that's how you know she is good) but absolutely worth it. I literally will make it a point to call ahead of time to make sure she is there and I now plan my social life around when my eyebrows will look optimum. Left the studio and cried in my car. I've been growing my brows out for 6 months and the technician destroyed it in less than 10 minutes. I discussed before that I was growing them out - in fact had one patch that wasn't connecting to the brow and she said leave it. So I thought she understood that I wanted to keep the new growth. But when she gave me the mirror my brows were thin tiny lines instead of the healthy full brow I came in with. I still feel sick to my stomach about this. read more

Inconsistent. The only word I can think of to describe this place. I had very long real nails that took me VERY long to grow. The lady completely destroyed them. She cut them off and then filed each one into a different shape. I have to cut them all off and start over. The nail techs speak no English, I brought my Spanish speaking friend to even translate. I don't believe the lady that did my nails has a license either because I asked to see it and they couldn't provide it. One of my nails broke and required a acrylic nail, this girl was painting the acrylic on like polish? When I went to the front the guy wanted me to pay!!!! Attempted to have some R&R with my mother that I don't see often. Aede was the tech who I was assigned to. Usually I don't complain nor write bad reviews, but she did a horrible job. Not only did I have I to reminder to please buffer 4 nails out of 10, she did not cut my cuticles-as requested when I first sat down. I let that all go knowing I can happily go home and finish the job for her. But when it came time to do my pedi hardly ANY of my cuticles were cut. AND when it came to drying my feet before she started to paint them, she dried my feet with the dirty towel full of the dead skin. Which at that point I was repulsed. Needless to say the lady who did my moms nails did a remarkable job and attempt to correct her co-workers lack there of for me. read more

I do my nails with anyone available and never had any disappointment... they are clean, quick, efficient and have so many different colors to pick even though I always bring mine.
