I found this place a couple of years ago after being fed up with Anarkali. I would say I'm more a customer of the salon than any specific person as each time I get comfortable with a new threader, she disappears. However, I 've never had an unsatisfactory experience here. The work is always A+, the front desk service is nice and helpful and the prices are great. This place is also near my office so its convenient even though rush hour traffic on Biscayne is murder! Parking can also be difficult but I've never waited inside the salon more than 15 minutes. Each booth is very clean as well as the salon and I never smell nail polish when I'm there. read more

I've gone to Yodi a few times to get my eyebrows threaded, and loved the results. I was in desperate need of a facial, and decided to try it out (for $65 I got a facial and microdermabrasion). The results were amazing. She really took her time to examine my skin, and explained the whole microdermabrasion process to me, and the difference between using diamonds and crystals. They have machines for both. Also,at the end she gave me a delicious hot tea, and even texted me a few days later to see how my results were. 48 hours after my facial my skin was radiant. I believe the price I received was a special rate that is no longer in effect, and the normal price is $80, but definitely worth it. I will definitely be back! read more

Let me start off by saying I never leave a review. Ever. I have gone out of my way to download this app and give you my honest take on this place. First of all, I called before leaving my house to ask about the wait time. The lady responded that I could come right now so I grab my stuff and go. I walk in, no greeting, and no one is at the reception desk so I sign myself in and wait, simultaneously watching the employees gossip with each other in Spanish (I speak Spanish so I know) and ignore me for 5 minutes. One of the girls who is doing her own brows in the mirror finally turns around and tells me to sit. I should've known right off the bat she had no idea what she was doing by the way she acted but I went for it anyway. If you care enough to get your eyebrows done then there's a 90% chance you've gone through the pain and suffering that is growing out your eyebrows for months to ensure you'll have perfect brows next time around. I have FULL brows and grew them out for MONTHS. I thought it was impossible for her to mess up. I told her to just clean them up, retain the shape, and don't make them too skinny. When I look at my eyebrows there's holes everywhere, all the hairs are out of place, and some hairs are longer than others. No shape and no evidence that I had just gotten my brows threaded. She tried to explain that it was the way my eyebrows are. She then did not offer me any tissue to wipe the hairs away or even any aloe or lotion. Nothing. I paid, I left. Not one of my friends and family members noted that there was a change in my eyebrows even when I mentioned it - because they look like I did them myself. Worst job ever. All because I didn't feel like driving to aventura to my regular place. If you've been growing your eyebrows for months and don't want to be left in tears do NOT come here. Terrible customer service and untrained employees which is completely unacceptable in this line of work. read more

Barbie is my eyebrow goddess! Thank you for always getting it right each and every time I come. I started going to the one on coral way until I let some lady do it and she ended up butchering my eyebrows. I had cuts everywhere and no hair left. I wanted to strangle her because she messed up my perfect shape. Then I came to this location and found Barbie. It's very inexpensive about $10. And parking is in the back which is free. It may be a wait for your turn but it's worth it. Don't trust anyone else so go to Barbie and you'll be in good hands. read more

Jenny was LITERALLY the worst!! I was trying to tinted my lashes. She didn't even say hi or welcome or anything. She told me to sit down and put my head down, she gave the wipes to take off my OWN MAKEUP and AFTER I WAS FINISH, she was putting tape on my bottom lashes and painting my lashes, she left 3 times to take care of other clients and she knew I was going to do my eyebrows as well, INSTEAD of doing my brows while waiting for my lashes, she was doing someone else's eyebrows!! Popped into this place after a cursory Yelp review read because I couldn't stand to look at my unkempt eyebrows a moment longer. It's simple and clean, not a luxurious spa by any means, but Barbie got the job done. I was extremely anxious because it only takes one tiny wrong swipe to mess up the shape you've been working on for years. But my anxiety was unfounded because Barbie was cautious, she asked me before doing anything that might change the shape I had. She left room to grow in all the places that required it. I'm not giving five stars because the decor doesn't warrant it and the wait was a bit long but now I can look at my brows again. read more

I love Yodi salon and I always recommend this place to all my friends and coworkers! Lately I go twice a month for my mani and pedi shellac, and also for threat. Gabby and Jenny are the best!! I love them!! But my last time at Yodi around a week ago was disappointing, the women who took care of my nails was not professional at all! Her tools were so dirty, and the towel she used was full of old nail polish and dead skin from previous customers. My shellac manicure ended up looking so bad, I'll probably go back again in less than a week! Not happy with her job at all. I will keep coming to Yodi but never again with this manicurist!! Anytime I call to get a mani/pedi, the phone rings, they pick up and don't say anything (but I hear background noise)... then they hang up the phone. I've tried to do walk-in a couple times and they were full. They do a good job on eyebrows though, which I usually just walk-in for without much of a wait. read more

I came to this location because after visiting their sister location at Coral Gables the lady that was covering for the owner who was on vacation did a horrendous job. So I came to Jennifer and with patience and some TLC she is taking me back thru the path of recovery. She took the time to explain to me that is was going To take time but that soon my eyebrows will be back in shape. She did a wonderful job today!
