I was really disappointed with my visit to Yo Yum. When I first walked in, there was no one around to greet or assist me. After a while, a server finally appeared, but the service didn't improve much from there. They don't offer any veteran or nurse discounts, which was a bit of a letdown. To make matters worse, when I asked the server not to tap my credit card, he still did it anyway, and his response was just a casual "my bad." It felt like he didn't really care about the customer experience. Definitely not the best impression, and I won't be coming back anytime soon. I know providing a low review is not popular with the community but I do not want someone to experience this sort of behavior. read more

Very unprofessional. You should never argue with a customer. If they think you weighed it wrong then weigh it again don't try blaming the customer. I paid $5 for mine which weighed 7.2 my sister paid $15 for hers which weighed 7.3. That dosent add up in my eyes... If you want to be treated with respect and pay for what your getting I'd recommend cold stone which is what I'll stick to for now on. read more

The yogurt was good but the customer service was non existent. Dude at the counter wasn't rude, just cold, unprofessional, sketchy and zombie like. This is an unmissable part of downtown. Not the best prices but then again I love to pile on the toppings! We had a tie-dye party for my daughter here, and it was awesome fun! This is a very fun and cute place to visit for a frozen yogurt dessert. They do not have as many flavor selections as most chain fro-yo establishments; however they have many toppings to pick from. For someone who enjoys more fruity flavors they only had two to pick from (mango and strawberry). I did not see any yogurts listed as fat free so if healthy desserts are your preference I would pick cautiously. Love this place. They do change out the flavors, and always have something yummy available. I like how there are so many good toppings to choose from, fruit along with the sugary things the children love. We love us some Yo Yums! Personally, I love the no sugar added selection each time I go & they switch up the flavor pretty often. My daughter loves it all! They always have a great selection for toppings that always looks fresh. We have even caught them on a night a group was playing Bluegrass music live inside. When will it end! Today my daughter and her friend who happened to both be people of color visited YO YUMS. My daughter who happens to be African-American and her friend who happens to be of Asian descent, we're giving an unfriendly greeting when they walked in to this establishment. They went in with the intent to purchase some yogurt on a hot day. There are sample cups out and they asked if they could sample right before they purchased and was told a harsh NO. After they walked in a Caucasian family was given a friendly greeting, asked if they had attended the Kids Fest and was offered samples. How do you continue to explain the hate that is in breaded in America today to our children. To the middle-aged gentleman who waited on them SHAME ON YOU. Just to share a little background about my daughter and her friend, they happened to be honor roll students who hold 4.0 grade point averages, never been in trouble with the law of any kind or at school, but you immediately prejudged them and treated them less than favorable in comparison to the Caucasian family that walked in immediately after them. To the owners of YO YUMS, please talk to your workers. Please tell them that everybody should be treated respectfully and not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of the character. I will encourage my family and my friends not to visit this establishment if you're going to treat people of color with such disrespect. Our money is no good there! read more

What a wonderful place! They always have new flavors to try and old favorites as well. Plenty of seating, nice and clean, you can even have a tie dye party. The owners are super friendly and helpful. The topping selection is great. You can add anything from fruit to candy. There are also shakes and smoothies you can order as well. Karaoke is an option if you enjoy that.
