Culver's corporate or somebody from Culver's sent me an email unsolicited. They asked if I would fill out a survey they would give me a free scoop. I took my time filled out their survey. They sent me a return email with a coupon code. I took it into Culver's in Jefferson City and the teenage so-called manager in charge, Tiara, curtly informed me that she would not redeem that coupon. She was extremely unfriendly and not customer focused. My family was in there this week and spent well over $100. We all have the app and are very frequent Culver's customers. I have a feeling that's why I got the survey. If I would've known than what I know now I would've given them a terrible review but as it was, I gave them all five stars. I had a chance today to come back and redeem the coupon and was refused. If you get an email from Culver's unsolicited asking for you to fill out their survey just be aware, they will not give you a free scoop. Especially if this young woman is in charge of the store. Outdoor, spaces seating available. Typical pricing and menu. Though all the items are made to order-- even during the peak time we stopped in-- it was still speedy. Staff was friendly. I can't say I spent anytime inside, though it seemed pretty standard and clean. There was plenty of hand sanitizer available when I briefly went in to use the restroom. Parking is tight, and when the drive thru line is 15 deep, good luck! Overall, it was a great spot to grab a bite and get out of the car to sit outside before finishing our trip! The food is always good and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I also like that the owners are often seen working alongside the team in the store. The parking lot is terrible and almost impossible to navigate during high-traffic times. We stopped in for the fried fish dinners. My husband had the fried Cod with mashed potatoes and fries. I had the new fried Walleye with cole slaw, and fries. His cod were rather small. The walleye were decent sized. Both meals came with a cold roll and tiny butter packs. The fish/fries/mashed potatoes were all hot. We were pleased with the taste and temperature of everything. Guilty pleasure. I want to dislike...salty, buttery, fried, sugary soda and custard, but this must be one of the best tasting fast-food joints in the Midwest. I've stopped here about 8-9 times while traveling through Jefferson City, and every time is a pleasure. My wife, daughter, and I have always loved the burgers and crinkle fries. They make their own root beer, and my daughter loves the custard. The staff is unusually nice, and visits each table asking if they can improve your experience and take anything to the trash for you, despite it being a order at the counter fastfood restaurant. I stayed in the Drive-Thru for about 20 minutes. I get to the window and they read the wrong order. They get it straight but when I ordered I asked for tartar sauce for my shrimp basket she told me it came with the meal I get cocktail sauce when I get back home. Avoid the Mushroom Swiss burger at all costs. Visually, it was disgusting. Falling all over itself, the drab colors and mashed bun gave the appropriate introduction to how bad my experience was about to get. The sandwich ingredients just seemed to be differently colored parts of a single gooey entity. The taste, as well, was not varied at all but seemed homogenous in the way that milk is an emulsion of proteins, water, fat, and sugar but we just taste "milk". I just tasted "sandwich". The meat was horribly gray and tasteless. At least the cheese was good and Swiss-y when tasted alone. THE MUSHROOMS ARE CANNED. Canned mushrooms share no similarities at all with fresh mushrooms save genetics. The appearance, taste, smell, and texture are totally different between the two. The reason I purchased a burger with nothing on it besides cheese and mushrooms was because I wanted to taste meat, cheese, and mushrooms. I couldn't discern among the three flavors, as described above, but at no time was "mushroom" center stage. read more

I wouldn't advise eating here if you have allergies. They don't take it seriously anymore. Which is a real shame because when it started out they did a great job with it and I used to go there a lot. I have a nut allergy and last time I went here I mentioned that. I was iffy that they used the same scooper that was used before they cleaned it. Though I though surely they know what they're doing. Though when I ate some of the ice cream after getting it home I started to feel that tingly feeling in the back of my throat that those of us with serious allergies know. The staff were friendly and the food was good. I really appreciated they carried the veggie burger. I just wish their "to go" cups were a bit more sturdy. As someone that was traveling, they were not stiff enough for my comfort. I went ahead and dumped my soda into another cup I had used previously that day from someone else. This was the worst experience in a fast food restaurant maybe ever. I've been to many Culver's and always said they know how to train there employees. Not this one. From the employees to the owner are very unprofessional. We waited 20 minutes for our food. We asked the girl in the drive through we wanted ranch. She said ok. We where told to park and with would bring our food. 20 minutes later Carson brought our food. We asked again if there was ranch. He said yes. We got 2 miles down the road and guess what. I ranch. We went back and Carson had no apologies and I asked for the manager. He was ok and he gave me the owners #. So I called to let him know what happened. No apologies and had a smirk attitude. I see where the employees get it from. He just asked so what do you want. I'll get your address and send you a card. I said all I wanted was for this not to happen to another person. All he did was call me a liar I didn't wait as long as I did and defended his employees. I will never be back and I will do whatever I can to get the word out. read more
