You could smell the urine as you opened the door. My experience is that Freddy's does a poor job at maintaining and cleaning their restrooms, but this was the worst one I have encountered since a Taco Bell back in the 90s. It was so bad I wouldn't let my daughter use the restroom there. I heard the manager babbling about offering free custards to those who had to wait. I never got one. I saw several couples come in and when they witnessed the disaster in front of them, leave. I even told one group get ready to wait as it had taken 30 minutes to get food. They didn't take the hint initially but after five minutes at the register, they left. Look, I know it isn't gourmet food but cold and a 30 minute wait is unacceptable. I would have left but I had already paid. And the worst part was the restroom, pretty sure it would have been a health code violation. I am just thankful my daughter and I did not become ill from the food. This was sincerely the absolute worst experience at any fast food restaurant that I ever have had.
