I went with a full order of wings. 10 wings were $20. I thought that was pretty high though they were terrific! I chose them to be naked and had DAT Honey, Spicy BBQ, and Sweet and Spicy on the side. DAT Honey was a superb sauce especially mixed with the homemade ranch. The other 2 sauces were good too. Now back to the sweet tea. As I came in thinking I was going to get a fresh-brewed homemade sweet tea turned out to be purchasing a bottle of that abomination of sweet tea known as Gold Peak. It was comical how fast I told the guy at the register I would rather take a water. Then I receive a bottled water from Sam's. The owner did throw in a cookie for me to offset the price. But I wasn't impressed with the drink options. The service was good though! I really debated between a 3 and a 4 rating but the most important thing to me about a restaurant is making sure my food tastes amazing. JQ's delivered on that and plus the service was friendly and fantastic. I didn't like the price of 10 wings or the drink options but if you don't mind that, JQ's is a solid lunch spot.

I know the staff were not doing well but the last thing I needed to see was the staff being taken to task. And it still took me right at 30 minutes to get food. The tables were not cleaned and the trash and here not emptied and were overflowing. As bad as all of that was, the bathroom may have been the worst part of the experience. You could smell the urine as you opened the door. My experience is that Freddy's does a poor job at maintaining and cleaning their restrooms, but this was the worst one I have encountered since a Taco Bell back in the 90s. It was so bad I wouldn't let my daughter use the restroom there. I heard the manager babbling about offering free custards to those who had to wait. I never got one. I saw several couples come in and when they witnessed the disaster in front of them, leave. I even told one group get ready to wait as it had taken 30 minutes to get food. They didn't take the hint initially but after five minutes at the register, they left. Look, I know it isn't gourmet food but cold and a 30 minute wait is unacceptable. I would have left but I had already paid. And the worst part was the restroom, pretty sure it would have been a health code violation. I am just thankful my daughter and I did not become ill from the food. This was sincerely the absolute worst experience at any fast food restaurant that I ever have had. If this location is open in 6 months, I will be in shock. Please avoid!
