The rendang meat as part of the nasi lemak has the appropriate marinated level of curry around it. The store closed late and opened early on Sunday, which was a blessing since we want to get one more dish for the road before heading down toward Brighton that weekend. The portions are generous, the service was prompt and friendly, and price is unbelievably low for any restaurant in England. If you happen to travel to Southampton and want a sure bet away from the usual British fare, this will surely be my recommendation.

Everyone starts with a miso soup - which was delicious - and then you choose from one of 4 options - I tried tofu for the first time in my life and was so pleased that I opted for it as it was really good. My son had the pork dumplings and really enjoyed them. We had the sushi for our main course which was also excellent. All of this cost £14.90 each and the other 2 lunch menus were cheaper - the cheapest was £9.90. We shared a black sesame ice cream and really enjoyed that too. The service was very good and friendly. They had another table with people with children, one in a high chair. They don't take bookings for lunch times as they are not very busy but they recommend booking for evenings as they are busy then.
