Ramen, Amaebi, Salmon nigiri and sashimi, Karaage chicken, prawn fried rice and vegetable gyoza. First off, the fish was really fresh and that's always the number one thing. The amaebi (sweet shrimp) was different than what I normally have. Normally the amaebi would come served raw and the head would come deep fried separately. The head was not served, but it was probably due to their customer base. The Karaage chicken was very tasty. We all thought the fried rice could have used more flavor. In the end, we ate everything. The mains were Salmon teriyaki don and chicken don. I enjoyed my salmon to the very last bit. Served with salad and on a bed of rice. Great seasoning and nicely cooked. Simplicity of a dish but so satisfying. My husband did like his dish but contrary to what I think, his dish was a bit on the salty side. The food is still good but the wait staff can be awful. There are really long gaps in the service and last time I was in there there was a 30 minute gap between two of exactly the same dishes. 30 minutes. I know that "food is cooked and served when it is ready" but when you hear the excuse that they have staff shortages every time you visit then there is some sort of problem. I really wish they would sort the staff shortages out, this is easily the best place to eat in Bracknell town centre.
