Fast Heathrow Japanese meal option…read more Sushi was edible, and better than I expected for airport take away. It's like drug store sushi, actually[1]. Ha! Itsu offers coffee (I got some) and they also have these amazing bottled waters - get their peach and lychee flavor! Chef's kiss. Credit accepted. Prices are high (you're in an airport) but not outrageous. Looking for power? There's a few charging tables nearby with a variety of outlets. Next time I'm at LHR, I'll be back for a fancy bottled water. [1] Anyone remember when drug stores in NYC offered sushi? Do they still do that?

Fast food Japanese food in LHR Airport to consider if you're in a hurry ...or just feel like eating…read moresomething with rice as compared to potatoes or bread! (Especially like a person from Hawaii like me!) Flew threw LHR several times over the past few years and first noticed this place in 2019. If there is a line, it isn't very long and moves fast. Got places to sit down and have some charging ports . Food selection is somewhat limited with salmon Inari or Maki style sushi, got some salads, or if you want something hot, got won ton or chicken bowls and a few other things. I find it convenient since it is right next to a sitting area if you have to make a connection but your flight gate # has not yet been announced. Unlike some of the worn, high volume, highly used ports that may not work in (free) sitting area outside, so far all the ports and outlets have worked in the dining area here! So a place that I've come to stop by almost every time for a quick bite to eat at LHR!

The menu is 3 times the size…read moreof what it used to be, very confusing, no pictures for guidance and the prices are about 60% more. Service was very slow and the waitress was eating during service, after we had asked for water. My Seafood Yaki Udon was very disappointing, with only 2 shrimps, 2 small scallops and 4 pieces of squid! Don't try this!

My pet peeve at sushi bars is not being able to order from and interact with the chef. The whole reason for sitting at the bar is the interactive experience. The salmon and yellowtail were very good. The sea bass was fishy. The tuna was pre sliced instead of cut fresh, which isn't the worse thing but it was also very wet. That's when I saw it sitting in water, soaking it up. When I ordered a scallop and crab hand roll (not on the menu) they just about vapor locked. They had to call it a California roll with added scallop and no avocado. It was almost humorous watching them talk about it in the back. Like it was the craziest thing ever. The service was excellent and they did want to please, but they should do some research and visit a couple places in London, like Sushi Atelier. If I come again I would try the truffle ribeye beef. It looked amazing as it was going to another table.
