I have never had a single complaint about any of the dishes I have eaten - a few of which I have listed below. Starters Asparagus spears with brie and parma ham. Melon and parma ham King scallops Deep fried brie Antipasto Mains Ostrich fillets in a wild berry jus Mushroom Raviolini Breat of chicken on a bed of tagliatelle Pork belly Spaghetti with meatballs Penne with chorizo American Hot pizza Pizza Zingara Regginas have a specials board, full of wonderful creations cooked to perfection. Pricier than the main menu but divine. I cannot comment too much on dessert because I have the same one every time - tiramisu. It's exquisite and I absolutely recommend trying it. Starters are around £7.95. Mains - pizzas are £8.95, Pastas are around £10.95 and other meals range from £13.95 up to £20. So by no means a cheap place to eat, but absolutely worth every penny that you do spend. The wine selection is extremely good - I can recommend the Prosecco, Pinot Grigio, Merlot, Chianti and Barolo. The staff are wonderful and the building itself is charming - exposed beams give this restaurant a 'cosy' feel. Definitely worth a visit and I have no doubt that this will become a favourite of yours too!

I've been trying to think of clever metaphors or funny analogies to make this review exciting and…read moreengaging, but honestly this place doesn't need them! I was never a fan of takeaway pizza, whenever I had friends over i'd always push to get a Chinese or Indian meal. Not anymore! As long as it's Smokey's, I want pizza! I have had them three times now and each time has been delicious. My last Smokey's was the first time I have collected it rather than delivery and I was so pleased to see a clean, inviting shop front, smart seats to wait on and an open wood fired oven to watch my pizza cook in. They even swapped my mushrooms for meatballs at no extra cost! It's hard to pin-point what it is that makes it so much better than the other take-away pizza options, I think it starts with the base, it's a lovely, fresh ciabatta dough that is cooked perfectly in the wood oven so it's crispy but not dry, it holds firm allowing you to dip your slice with no fear of flopping! There are a range of base sauces to be had, the ones I have tried have been just the right consistency, not too wet so that the cheese falls off, but not to dry that you need to drink contantly to keep the pizza down; they taste fresh, they're gently seasoned, they're what you want from a sauce. Moving on to the cheese, it's not greasy, my main opjection to most pizza places is the level of oil floating all over the top, as well as the stringy mozzerella that pulls all the toppings off and leaves you with nothing but tomatoey bread. I haven't had that here, the cheese is tasty, not too stringy and not oily, brilliant! As for toppings, I have never seen such a wide variety, including char-grilled aubergine, egg, prawn, cajun chicken, as well as all the standard toppings you'd expect! The dips also are gorgeous, if you like garlic, the garlic and herb is strong! I love the stuff. Although I have not tried them, they also do a wide range of pasta dishes, fingers crossed they're as good as the pizzas! Lastly, prices! Perfectly reasonable, last time we had 2 12inch pizzas plus dip for £13, if we'd been less greedy the 2 9inch would have been £9! Though I know prices always change, for now these prices are so reasonable for such good quality meals. I recommend Smokey's whole-heartedly and hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

My husband and I are harsh pizza critics and this is shockingly good Neapolitan style pizza! I also had to go back and get a special zucchini ricotta pizza, and we couldn't even finish an amazing goat cheese salad with caramelized red onions and pine nuts with the perfect honey dressing. I already want to go back to Bath and explore the cute town and try the Margherita among others at the Oven!

We waited long after others who had come in after us. Service was okay - they lost our booking somehow. I had the confirmation and the email reminder on my phone that I showed them. They were very confused but seated us and honored it. We started with a salad and the focaccia (which was really just a white pizza). Both were good. They have some nice wines. Then we had margherita pizzas and one speciality pizza. I asked for some chili oil to help give it some flavor but even that wasn't spicy. For dessert we had some ice cream and I tried a cannoli. Also mediocre. The shell was overdone and the cheese was just okay. I've never had one that only was made with ricotta and no mascarpone at all. Overall would not return - there are other good places in Bath we would like to try.
