    Chicken Teriyaki

Great place to get lunch in a dynamic environment where you pick and choose your sushi from a conveyor belt and pay per plate by color ! It's a nice place to get lunch prior to your flight. Service is self serve unless you want something off the menu. Interesting concept in lunch, if you have the time to sit and aren't in a rush. It was noisy, so if you don't like the hustle and bustle, and prefer to eat in peace, this is not the place. Food was good but pricey as expected anywhere in London, especially the airport. But worth trying just for the concept alone.

    Avocado Maki & Vegan Gyoza

This is one of the spots I frequent when i'm flying out of Heathrow! I'm vegan and they have an ample amount of options for me to choose from. I usually get the avocado maki and vegan gyoza! The wasabi is perfect and actually spicy. The gyoza are a nice texture and size. This time I also tried the Yakisoba with the vegan duck (the gentleman who took my order recommended I get it spicy! ) Unfortunately, I wasn't able to capture a picture of the yakisoba. The service is quick but do make sure you have time to wait for the food before your flight. I always think the set up for the sit down side of Yo! is cute and welcoming. They have a food conveyor belt and I hadn't seen one until Heathrow haha. Would recommend as I also think the price point isn't too bad. 17£ or $22USD for three decently portioned items at an airport.

My experience was only of the hot rice at the Yo! To Go. I was crazy hungry and in the mood for something Asian, but also small. I originally thought I'd be getting sushi but their sushi ("poke") bowls are huge so I decided against it then saw they had some hot items and picked the Chicken Firecracker Rice. It was £7 and you can grab some wasabi, ginger and soy sauce packets to add if you want. It's a small portion but was the perfect "snack" size amount for me and hit the spot after not having any Asian food while traveling. This review might be generous but i was starving and the food I got here was exactly what I needed. But honestly it has a minimal amount of veggies and I did add 2 wasabi packets plus ginger to add more flavor but it's lightly seasoned with soy sauce and was hot and fast. I would buy and eat this again while in LHR.

Ask for a fresh tray if you're grabbing the takeaway. People were literally opening the plastic and touching the food tune putting it back. It's airport sushi, expectations are low and expectations are met. Everyone is in a hurry, it's an airport, but staff just lets people jump the queue and makes no effort to have organization. Sushi was alright. Don't recommend risking it with sashimi or other raw products from the takeaway section- some of it looked quite old and again dirty fingers touching everything.

Keitan sushi at London Heathrow Terminal 3? Wha?? Nicer sitting at a counter with a bottomless cup of hot tea, an order of edamame, and trays of sushi wandering by that one can ogle or partake of, than sitting with the crowds waiting for the gate info. Ambience not the best (did I mention it's in a terminal), and the sushi is expensive and kinda meh, but the alternatives are not nearly as good. So here you find me!

My little family were on a layover in London from Paris to Los Angeles. Traveling with a toddler can be hectic and honestly, we were tired and starving at this point. We scoped the terminal for what's appetizing and Yo! caught our eyes the most. We were hesitant to do take away or do a sit down since our daughter was sleeping in her stroller and we had carryons with us. Luckily, our server named Justin was able to sit us down comfortably. See video. What a relief! I loved their decors! It felt like I was about to dig in with street foods and sushi! In my opinion, you can't go wrong with Asian food (: We're familiar with revolving sushi so we grabbed our plates right away. So happy! See pics. Overall, I'd rate the food 4/5. Shoutout to our server, Justin! He made our first experience with Yo! an excellent one. He's friendly and professional. He even explained the menu very well. I highly recommend trying this restaurant. Don't expect fancy. They get very busy obviously. People are in a rush being at a terminal airport and all.

Once and never again!! The staff tricked us into buying. Portion he displayed was bigger than the real size we got (which was only a fist size despite ordering the largest). VERY DISAPPOINTING!! Menu price was not updated. The price was £2-3 higher than what's stated in the menu. Food was bland. I ordered tempura and got a thin, not fresh shrimp. A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY AND PEACE OF MIND. Do not ever step in. There are many more better options to eat in T3!!

Having been to Kura revolving sushi bars in the United States, which is generally rated 4+ stars, definitely not for sushi quality but maybe for the revolving sushi experience that is quite limited and new to the regions, Yo!, without a doubt, outranks them in my book. This place is generally extremely busy. No seats are left vacant, so don't expect too much space while eating, for the claustrophobics. Therefore, outstanding service is reasonably to not be expected. However, as a solo customer, I was able to be quickly seated at the bar, sandwiched between two other customers, with limited space to flare my elbows out while using utensils to eat. In comparison to Kura, the Salmon Sashimi at Yo! was much fresher. What actually surprised me most was the generous amount of seafood I was given in the Spicy Seafood Ramen I was served. The taste of the broth and texture of the noodle were mediocre, however. The staff quickly attended to my needs and were able to get me in and out with plenty of time to make it to my gate for on-boarding. All it took was a waiving of a hand to grab the attention of the overworked employees. Would likely come back.

    Conveyer belt options
    Valerie R.

Yo! Sushi is a really solid choice in Heathrow terminal 3. It's FAST and they have wine, which are my two most important criteria when eating at the airport. The sushi was really fresh and reasonably priced. The thing I love about conveyer belt sushi places in general is that I can try more of a variety than at a regular sushi place. They don't have as many choices as some other places, but still really respectable for an airport location. And their menu shows colors and items so you can really figure out what you're getting even if you aren't familiar. I actually ate way too much at Yo! Sushi because it was just so good. It did spare me from airplane food though!!!

    Okonomiyaki, served lukewarm

If you're thinking of eating here just don't. The only reason this restaurant isn't getting a coveted one star is because those are especially saved for rotten service and food poisoning. I merely had below average service and no food poisoning. That's where all the positives end. Food from the conveyor belt is disgustingly overpriced. Literally 2 pieces of veggie sushi for £2.80. Total scam. 4 slices of sashimi about £6. Not very fresh either but admittedly passable. 3 star quality You have to order hot food from a server. Not only did it take forever to get someone to take my order, it took a while for the order to come out. Worst okonomiyaki I've ever had. Too thick and tiny. Too much sauce. 3 takoyaki balls for about £4. Total scam again. Low grade chicken katsu with from the box curry and soggy rice. Add all of this to crowded seating and dirty dishware. Plus a 10% service charge, which I was really tempted to ask for back. Just don't do it. The £3 meal from Boots is better

Itsu offers coffee (I got some) and they also have these amazing bottled waters - get their peach and lychee flavor! Chef's kiss. Credit accepted. Prices are high (you're in an airport) but not outrageous. Looking for power? There's a few charging tables nearby with a variety of outlets. Got places to sit down and have some charging ports . Food selection is somewhat limited with salmon Inari or Maki style sushi, got some salads, or if you want something hot, got won ton or chicken bowls and a few other things. I find it convenient since it is right next to a sitting area if you have to make a connection but your flight gate # has not yet been announced. Unlike some of the worn, high volume, highly used ports that may not work in (free) sitting area outside, so far all the ports and outlets have worked in the dining area here! So a place that I've come to stop by almost every time for a quick bite to eat at LHR!

You sit at communal tables without backs (which isn't the most comfy), but the menu is extensive and healthy. We ordered teriyaki noodles and yakisoba noodles with shrimp, and both were good. They were very mildly spiced, though, and we both needed the seasoning spice that was on the table. I guess I was expecting more authentic and bold flavors, but this is very, very mild (perfect for fussy eaters and kids). PROS: * free hot green tea * scan a QR code to pay so no need to wait around for a slow server * plenty of healthy, vegetarian, and vegan food options * good cocktail menu for a pre-flight tipple * chopsticks, forks, and sauces on every table CONS: * service is mostly nonexistent; a server will take your order and deliver your food, but you won't see them again after that. * the kitchen is slow, so allow around 30 minutes to get your food (a real problem if you're in a rush to catch a flight) * uncomfortable picnic style, communal seating I would probably eat here again the next time I'm flying out of Heathrow, especially because there aren't many other sit down options in Terminal 3.

Staines didn't appear to have a great selection of restaurants but with Sushi Nara being as satisfying as it proved to be, they need not. A pleasantly generic decor gave no hint of the diversity of Sushi Nara's menu, not in Japanese cuisine as expected, but in a full-range of Korean fare as well. And because I didn't find the UK brimming with a great array of sushi (salmon and tuna seem to comprise 98% of the offerings), the Korean offerings were a welcome treat. The next question, as I'm suspect of places specializing in multiple cuisines, was: How good would that Korean fare (or Japanese fare) actually be? Good, quite good. The Nara Bento (£16.90) was a nice array of food: filling, fresh tasting, as varied as it needed to be, and well-presented. The Beef Dolsot Bibimbap (£9.50) and Kimchi (£2.20) were equally satisfying. I'd likely look askance were I to find a restaurant back home (San Francisco Bay Area) trading in both Japanese and Korean fare but here in Staines they pulled it off with mastery. If they opened up a second outpost in my neighborhood I'd be there.
