But 510 changed that for me. The first day I walked in there I immediately knew this was where I was meant to get my health back. The community here is full of people you won't necessarily find just anywhere. It doesn't matter how fit you are or how fit the person next to you is, because we will be cheering you on, supporting you in a way you didn't think people did anymore. The coaches keep things fun, but also make sure you are being safe. They are hilarious and also extremely motivating. I really haven't found a gym like this since my old one closed, and to be honest, 510 is even better! I have injuries from a car accident years ago and the coaches are always ready to modify a workout for me. They are extremely knowledgeable at what they do. It doesn't matter what level you are at or if you are injured, I promise you that you won't regret stepping in those doors. It truly changed my life (physically, mentally and emotionally). Every time I go, it helps me believe in myself a little more and some of the best people I have met in my life, I met through Crossfit. Don't hesitate. Run here. You won't regret it.

I'm usually shy and stayed to myself, but was welcome by the coaches and people there. It's been an amazing journey! Rob and Alex supported my health goals, pushing me to get my PRs. I was so happy when I was finally able to do a bar muscle up! All the people I worked out with are super supportive and fun! We push each other and hold each other accountable. And I have made good life time friends at this gym. I am forever grateful for this company and the community.

I ran outside and fortunately they looked in the car and then threw my keys on the floor. I thought they were going to steal my car and belongings but thank god they didn't, maybe because my car wasn't as nice as she thought. The staff was still very helpful and nice so 5 stars for them but 1 for safety as I've never had anybody pick my lock and steal it like that. Review from hours before: I like this location! It's clean and easy to get to. The staff was really nice, Javon was extra helpful and welcoming! Thank you, will make this one of my home gyms!

Soon I made a membership the two months off charge changed to immediately charge. I got two charges right away. Try to honor your promise people don't deceive people with your promises and offers. I went today to planet fitness I spoke with a guy called Ed, I explained the mistake they had made. He totally ignored and blamed me, and wanted to charge me more money because I had insufficient funds, what is a lie because I was charged on my credit card and my checking account. I called for the phone number for customer service him, the same guy I had spoke before at planet fitness answered the phone and told they can't do nothing be use I canceled the membership. Lie, lie and deceiving people.

I would never know they were there if a friend hadn't talked about them over and over to us. We were in need of some fitness assistance and guidance anyway so we decided to see what was up. Overtake we are glad we came to Authentic Fitness and met our trainer, "Cat". He is a very chill guy with a laid back positive vibe and a lot of knowledge of Fitness and diet. Cat made sure to learn what our individual goals are, our present states of fitness, and what challenges we faced. Then he put together a well laid out fitness plan that has been positive for us in ability and results. Add to that Cat is just a cool guy to chat with also. The only reason for the missing fifth star is some aspects of the facility could use some fixing up. The bathroom is not in good shape and it isn't uncommon to not have something to dry your hands with. Some of the medicine balls need to simply be thrown away/replaced. A couple of machines don't have functioning height adjustability. So some funding should go into these areas but aside from that, good place to get in shape with personalized attention and no meat market feel or giant crowd of posers showing off for each other.

Review is for volunteering experience:…read more This year, my work team decided to volunteer at the Richmond Bay Area Rescue Mission (BARM). I did not know much about BARM, other than they do offer meals to the needy and are a Christian-faith organization. We had no idea what we'll be helping with on the day of arrival. Our entire group of 12 or so did have to pass a COVID Antigen test before entering. Our event turned out to be kitchen duties, like you read about in Kitchen Confidential or from cooking reality shows. Everyone was super friendly, but you feel the adrenalin of working hard in a commercial kitchen. You work as a team and you work safely, since you got hot surfaces, sharp objects, boiling liquids and occasionally wet floor everywhere. My main task was dishwasher, which brings back memories of my first job. Scrape, Rinse, Sanitize and dry! Those high-powered Hobart washing machines make cleanup a snap. The feel of the nozzle is great as it blasts away all food scraps. Wish I had these at home! My next task was helping cutting up some 30-50 pounds of chicken breast for a marinade. The chef was planning to make some coconut-curry soup so he occasionally dumped Five-Spice and Chili Sauce as we cut. Those Dexter Chef Knifes were super sharp and the blade was something like 10" to 12" long, like a short sword. I thought my home 6" Henckels Chef Knife was sharp but those Dexter knives were on a different level. At the end, I can show my blisters proudly. My other colleagues served food to customers, cooked, diced vegetables, cracked dozens of eggs, unloaded a delivery truck, and moved things to the freezers. They got some high-quality produce here from Costco, Sprouts, and Trader Joes, and some of it organic! Highly recommend considering BARM if you're interested in volunteering some time. Being in a commercial kitchen was also fun since you experience what its like to be part of the machine that cranks out food. Everyone had a role to play to make it possible to crank out 50-100 meals per shift.
