You can always tell a teacher who doesn't have their heart in the art of dance. But then again, how can they when they're so over worked? We came here from another studio- if you're looking for something on the core foundation side of dancing- it's not really here. This is more fun, entertaining and keeps your kid active. Which is good, yes! But I understand to more advanced dancers, some classes here would probably seem like a joke. Parking lot is always chaos. Recitals? Wishy washy and chaotic- I guess that can be normal for recitals. Expect your entire day to be solely based on the recital day.. as it is mandatory for all dancers to be there for dress rehearsal and then come back later for the recital itself or literally just hang out all day there till the recital starts. Which is normal for recitals. I say wishy washy because despite other parents busting their butts to get their kid to dress rehearsals, they still let other dancers do the recital sans the rehearsal. Which isn't bad, but I think it's some sort of favoritism. Having volunteered to help in the back, I've witnessed them turn young dancers away from participating in the recital because they missed rehearsal.... and then I've witnessed them let other dancers participate despite missing dress rehearsal?........ Why did it bother me? Well, because I saw a few kids hearts get stomped on after they were turned away and not allowed to dance. Then I saw a few others skip happily on in. Kinda left a sour taste in my mouth. 2 stars because they do keep kids busy and entertained while in class.

Different styles, but both put you at ease, helped me perfect my form and breathing, and left me energized for my day. During the evening Kiki gave you an amazing low impact workout that worked with the resistance of the water from our pool. I always felt wiped after a class, but never regretted taking it. Joanna, on the other hand, felt like a dance party with fun beats and great transitions. I never felt like I was working out, but I sure felt it the next day! You can take her class & make it high or low impact as you want it to be. And her steps are easy to learn, especially if you're at all familiar with Latin dance. If you're not, don't worry; she teaches you step by step. Nannette truly does make Zumba not seem like a workout at all, and after you learn the steps there's nothing that says you can't take your favorite Latin music and create your own Zumba routine. :)

Second phase of class is when the drummers join in and play for the dancers. Dancers line up and dance across the floor as the music takes on an awesome crescendo that fills the room with drumming rhythmic beauty as the dancer display their grace, beauty and strength as they dance across the room. They help your kid very well and also they have low stress for kids and they believe in kids no matter what. If you feel worried or scared before a belt test or stripe test they always make you feel more better before you start the test. 3. The prices are very good in the Bay Area. You have 1 class each week with your instructor and how many group classes there is to take. ( The group classes are free if you part of the team.) Only in your own class you will need to pay. I am very grateful to be part of their team and very grateful to be there student! I started on April 2019 and got very good so far. My teacher believe in me and also asks me " How is your school going?" Or "I like your haircut!" or something nice about you.
