I've been getting back into fitness and decided to check this place out because it's fairly close…read moreto my house and had good reviews on class pass. I must say, I absolutely loved it! I've never tried any type of class like this and wasn't really sure what to expect. Honestly, I can now see why so many people love this! It's an excellent workout, and you are able to control the pace. However, the environment and energy of the room really make you want to push yourself! I can definitely see myself coming back to this one. I did crew vs. crew, which is a team vs. team class, and it definitely made it a bit more spicy. However, as someone who doesn't usually like that type of thing, I must say it was a fun way to motivate myself, and the team aspect did not distract me from going at my own pace. I'd also like to mention, the staff here were wonderful in making me not only feel welcome but giving me genuinely helpful tips on row form and even incentives that would help make a membership more affordable (gotta talk to my insurance company). All in all, I think it was well worth the trip, and they offer free trial classes through referral.

Ignore the negative reviews here--…read more The Row House is honestly my second home! From the first class, I was addicted, the entire staff is amazing, the classes are fun, they flyby, you burn the calories, you need, and you get one hell of a work out! I went into my first class skeptical, however, after the first class, I was addicted. Going to the Row House almost every single day of the week, I've lost over 30 pounds in the past few months! The price for unlimited classes per month is well worth it! It's honestly $200 cheaper to do unlimited classes (which work on the rowing machine as well as doing functional body and weight workouts in class) then it is to get a personal trainer down the street at the gym The classes aren't only great, but the staff celebrates milestones that you get to in rowing, from 250,000 to 500,000 m, and so on and so on! Schedule wise, the classes are all over which is good and caters to everybody. Definitely recommend, five stars!

I bought a pack of five sessions from Groupon. I was looking for a new Yoga studio. There are a lot…read moreof options in this area and I was unsure of where to start. Shortly after arriving, it became clear that this is not a plus-size friendly studio and I will never be back. During the class, Mindy, the instructor, told me to move to the back of the room, loud enough for the other participants to hear. Another woman approached me after class to let me know how inappropriate she thought it was and to ask if I was OK. Additionally, I modified a pose we were instructed to do because of an ongoing knee injury, and care that I need to take with my neck after a former surgery. The instructor approached me and said in a very nasty tone that I shouldn't "get creative" if I were unable to do them. This was a medical need that I was advised to do by my physicians, not "getting creative". I left prior to the end of the group - I was not providing this joke any more of my time. Mindy approached me again, insisting that she shouldn't "allow" me to leave, although she provided no reason. I am not a novice when it comes to Yoga, and in fact just this previous weekend I went to a Yoga retreat in upstate New York. I intended to use this studio to continue the great feeling I had when I left my retreat. The only thing I had to retreat from is this studio, and this miserable person who isn't qualified to do busy work, let alone energy work. I hope no other person with curves and dignity has to experience the anger that I had. We are not people to be judged, we are working on our health the same as anyone else and the owner should be ashamed to act like this, or if she isn't the owner, employ somebody who does, under a business in their name. What needs to come full circle are their practices. STEER CLEAR. There are much better, kinder options to spend your money and energy with.
