The space itself is very inclusive and they take anti-discrimination seriously. Pre-Covid they weren't the most attentive to cleanliness and sometimes ran out of cleaner and paper towels in the gym but that changed during Covid and they are extremely safe and strict on that and mask wearing. Gendered locker rooms, and nice showers with expensive amenities (shampoo/soaps/air fresheners). They also have a refrigerator and a common working space which was a bit utilitarian (read: the seats are uncomfortable), but hey, it existed. Plenty of parking in front and behind the building (closer to Bear's Smokehouse, even though it's a bit of a walk). Staff is friendly, but you may find that many of the people mentioned in these reviews are no longer at DAC. I would come during off peak hours and would be able to mess with the rack (two) or treadmills if I was into that. They have also have two peloton bikes that use the LOOK Delta clips so if you have SPDs, sorry. They also have a TRX machine, but I think you need a trainer with that one. I didn't love it enough to renew my membership because the fitness center is a bit small and completely got mobbed during peak hours pre COVID, but I felt like it offered a better value than similar fitness center style clubs in the area.

I first heard about Shoreline CrossFit about four years ago through a local newspaper article…read morehighlighting the gym and how active the owner, Dave, is in the community. That really piqued my interest. At the time, I was working out at a big-box gym and felt stuck in the same routine without seeing great results. I reached out to Dave, scheduled a tour, and was immediately impressed -- the gym was clean, organized, and had great energy. I signed up for a two-week trial and haven't looked back since. What I love most is that every class is fully programmed for you, and there's always a coach guiding you through the workout, offering help and modifications when needed. The workouts are thoughtfully designed for all fitness levels and ages, which makes it welcoming no matter where you're starting from. They also have an intuitive member app where you can preview workouts, sign up for classes, and connect with other members -- a great added bonus. But the real standout is the community. Everyone works hard, supports each other, and genuinely has fun doing it. I've met and become friends with so many great people here. I truly can't say enough positive things about Shoreline CrossFit. If you're looking for great coaching, effective workouts, and an amazing community, this is the place.

I have taken classes with Christa and Karin, who train Tuff Girls, and MIke, who trains men and women in boot camp, and they are all AMAZING. My husband takes Mike's classes regularly and loves them, too. At Bodyology, you work hard toward your best body and change your life with trainers that actually care about you. Seriously, it's not too good to be true. This is more than just a "gym" or "fitness studio," it is a true community of people who want to be their best, and motivate each other every step of the way. They have cutting edge equipment in there and are always learning more to give their clients the newest and best workouts to get fit safely and efficiently. All three trainers are so empowering; I feel like I can do anything after conquering the workouts! High impact interval training, Tabata, TRX, heavy weight lifting...all in an environment that focuses on good form FIRST and then working your butt off. Highly, highly recommend.

The Tabata workouts are varied enough that you'll never get bored, and you'll see your strength improving faster than you would have expected. Lots of positive energy here.
