Master Choi is amazing! My son was a student here for about a year and Master Choi helped transition my son into a confident child with knowledge of self defense, what it means to respect and also have self-respect. 10/10 highly recommend! Also, the parents here are very nice and welcoming. Great culture here and if we didn't have to move away, my son would still be a student here for years to come. Also, i saw some message about "ripping off" and "pressure tactics" and I can 100% vouch that this is not what takes place here. Master Choi is extremely generous and even let my son continue to take classes here while we were about to move without charging us for another month. I can't say enough good things about this place.

I enrolled my daughter a few months back and she was hesitant at first. Once she started she loved it, especially cause Master Choi is very good at teaching and he makes the class fun but at the same time, he is very disciplined. My daughter's character and self confidence has improved so much since she started her classes.

Came here after trying out a different location and this place left me with much better impressions. Master Choi was very nice and patient with my daughter and helped eased her into it. He told us to take all the time we need to observe until she feels comfortable which really helped. My daughter went from crying on the first couple of days to now asking when's the next TKD class! read more

They rip you off, you sign a contract for agreed price, then they force you to paymore by pressure tactics, retarded, they get pissed at you when you call them on it, don't go here, if the guy in charge doesn't agree with you it looks like he wants to beat you up read more

You will get charged for every small thing apart from your monthly fees . Mr Choi does not mention this when signing up . He does payments for his accommodations he doesn't work with you with the dates . Even when trying to speak to him he will just charge you . read more

This is a great place to take your kids to learn taekwondo and martial arts! Not only has my son has learned a lot of valuable skills but also discipline, determination, and respect. Master has his ways with kids and he will do his best in order to make sure your child is learning the proper techniques. He will correct their forms and remind them important things in order to improve. Highly recommend this class for kids of all ages. read more

YK Martial Arts is the best. My son loves to go to YK martial arts. Master Choi is passionate in Taekwondo and he is great with dealing with kids. He is very patient with children and does not give up on your kid. My son is shy time to time but ever since he started Taekwondo, he gained so much confidence through learning Taekwondo at YK martial arts. Also, they sanitize kids' little hands before they enter the class and wear mask during the sessions. Highly recommend YK Martial Arts!! read more

Great classes for kids of all ages and skill levels. My son is 9 yrs old and has tried many different classes and activities but this one has seemed to have the most impact. He looks forward to it everytime and is excited to be there. The funny thing is we just came in to ask for information as we were just walking by one day and Master Choi made a great first impression. He spoke directly to my son and made sure that it was something he wanted to do and even offered a free class for him to try it out. A few months in and we were almost going to give up as he was not making progress. However, after a quick chat with the Sensei, he made some adjustments that may seem little to him, but impacted our toddler and how we viewed each class. I have also seen other parents bring up concerns or feedback to the Senseis and instructors and noticed they do their very best to accommodate and/or adjust based on it. I also love the flexibility of the schedule. Some weeks we are busier than others but it is very nice that there's no need to call in or commit to specific days of the week. The times are perfect as well, especially for parents who might live further and don't get off work until 5pm. Each Sensei and instructor has been very patient, creative, and still fun with my toddler and other kids in the class. Every kid is so different yet they're able to manage the class with various personalities and energy levels. I also love that they do not exclude anyone! It is a safe space for any kid, young adult, or adult to build confidence and enjoy something where they are their own person. If you're unsure which dojo to try, they offer a free trial class so you can observe and get a feel for it.

My son has been going to this Aikido dojo since October of last year and he really likes it. I like…read moreit that the teacher personally teaches him instead of a student. That way when he makes a mistake the teacher can correct him right away. When my son signed up, he got a free set of clothes. He practices 1.5 hour each time three times a week. The teacher encourages them to go on Saturday also, but I'm too lazy to take them. But if your kids like to practice extra, it's at no charge. He used to take a different martial arts class, but the class was big and my son didn't get the personal attention that he needs. He's not a "natural" so needs a lot of corrections. He's also kind of shy and talks too quietly. Here the teacher makes them all take turn leading the warm ups so he gets a chance to practice his leadership skills and to project his voice.

I love the ease and flexibility of scheduling where we can choose what days and times best for us.... sometimes that changes from week to week, but it is always easy to schedule on the app. My kids really love the teachers. The teachers vary from day to day, but they are all caring and energetic, and my kids benefit from their different teaching styles. It was hard to find the school on Yelp but I finally found it by typing in the name of the school…read more I came to this school 3 years ago and was rejected because my son was only 3 and half, I enrolled him in a Taekwondo school nearby and after 3 years he got his black belt. After many thousands of dollars I realized my son didn't gain much from it. I came back to this school and enrolled and it's been about 5 months and I have to admit he's learned more in these 5 months than the 3 years at the other school. Not only is he learning much more but his confidence level has improved especially his social skills - being such a shy kid. I see that he actually enjoys and look forward to going to Kung Fu class. I like this school in that it has many instructors so your kid gets the attention as opposed to the old school where's there's too many students and only one instructor. I also like that they teach in Vietnamese where they learn the names of the forms and every move. Even better is their price is cheapest of all schools I've been to, no test fees! I highly recommend this martial school for your kids!
