I know there are way too many of such small "happy/lucky" noodles in Vienna and most of them are probably not worth more than 3 stars. But I have to admit that I am OK with everything if I am starving (as probably most of humans..) and Yili wasn't a bad idea after all. I like their style, colourful and simple, it caught my attention and so did the huge offer of typical noodle-dishes as well. I was actually satisfied with my noodles with vegetables and shrimps, even if it wasn't anything I haven't had before... So don't expect any surprises. They also have something like a bubble tea/coctail corner in there, which I think is quite interesting, but I didn't try anything though.
They had a few seats outside, which is very nice if the weather is good, however, I'm wondering what do people do in winter, because even though the interior is nice, there isn't that much space inside. And the people who work in Yili don't really bother to go outside and check whether those tables are actually still clean (beware - Hitchcock might as well have shot "Birds" here; since nobody puts the paper dishes away, all kinds of birds like chilling out on those tables and it DOESN'T matter if someone is actually sitting there - they are not scared).
All in all, it wasn't bad, I might as well eat there again, however, there are also a few other nice options nearby... with nicer outdoor seating available. read more
