Chicken was perfectly grilled and a super tasty tzatziki sauce. Highly recommend. Uses a charcoal grill gave a nice smoke taste.

Wegmans - Seafood section

I'm so glad Long Island finally got a Wegmans. When they first opened I thought their prices were…read morereally high but then I notice the Hot Zone Prices was really good deals. When you walk into the store there is a sign of items and prices and they compare them to some of the other markets in the area which is always good to see. Another plus is that they are open till Midnight and it's close to home. A year later and I'm obsessed with this super market. It's very clean and the customer service is always amazing. My son loves coming here to watch the lobsters. The seafood department always comes out with a Wegmans hat to give him and let him touch a lobster. The deli department is always nice. I love the meats from the meat section and the butcher. I love the organic everything they have it's always fresh and reasonable. The Bakery department is my other favorite part of the store. I never tried any of their cooked food. Except the sushi station. No complaints there. I tried many of their store bands and so far so good, except the cheese. It doesn't melt for some reason. I never had any issues at any of the department. From ordering Groceries from the app to looking for coupons, the app is great at navigating it all. There are a few brands that Wegmans does not sell so sometimes I still have to branch out to another market. But for our main supermarket Wegmans is it.

Wegmans has a special place in my heart as I went to college upstate where there weren't many good food options. I used to go with friends to get subs from Wegmans and they were always amazing. So I was pretty excited when I heard there would be an outpost of this place coming to LI. I was pleased to see the sub shop at Wegmans churning out subs as I remembered. I think Wegmans also uses freshly baked bread for their subs; I chose the 'white everything' bread. I went with a large 'Wegmans Assorted' sub that has roast beef, ham, and turkey ($16.49). You can ask for packets of their 'sub sauce' on the side for no extra cost, which I recommend. I ended up pairing my sub with a bottle of Mountain Dew ($2.99). Total cost with tax included was $20.15. I was pleased to see that this Wegmans has a really nice seating area with a bunch of different tables and good natural lighting. You can get condiments and utensils for free upon entry. I unwrapped my sub and dug in. The sub itself is quite big, so I'm glad they still give you a lot of sandwich for the large size (I asked for my sub to be cut in quarters). However, when I finally took a bite of the sub, I was extremely disappointed. The sub was nothing like I remembered. It didn't taste bad, it's more that the sub didn't taste like anything at all. It felt like none of the ingredients had any flavor to it. It was kind of disorienting. I did some research online and realized that this is due to the cold cuts being used. It seems that the Wegmans subs of my memories used freshly sliced cold cuts of better quality, while the sub I got at the LI location used pre-cut cold cuts that were way worse quality. This resulted in a very 'watery' feel to the bite of the sandwich. There wasn't much flavor or texture to it at all. After realizing this upon the first bite, it was sad that the rest of the sandwich felt like dead weight. I ate the rest of it for dinner though cause I didn't want to waste anything. So I left Wegmans very disappointed to say the least. I guess it's true that nothing good lasts forever but I'm hoping that Wegmans can turn this around at some point.

Although its location is unassuming - a small front within a shopping mall, once you enter the wonder begin. We were greeted by a staff member and it's easy to see there is solid commitment to the quality and diversity of their cuisine. If you're of the Jewish faith, you will be greatly surprised. Zahn's offers a full menu of items consistent with religious and cultural values. We usually order a pastrami sandwich on rye. The portions are incredible. Hot and tasty we were unable to finish but only half of the sandwich. We ordered french fries and onion rings which were fresh, well prepared and served hot. Zahn's has a complete set of beverages, cakes, and so many side dishes. The staff were helpful and well knew the diversity of their menu. Their food is always fresh. There are also tables for the customer who wishes to sit down and have a most enjoyable and leisurely meal. Prices are fair. If you're hungry and in the area, please take a few minutes to have a great meal. You won't be dissatisfied. "Ess gezunt"

Wow where do I even begin here? This place is so special…read more My son is highly allergic to eggs and milk so taking him to restaurants and bakeries wasn't really a thing for us before I discovered Peach & Pine. Being avegan bakery/cafe means they don't use any animal products and not only is that wonderful on its own, but it makes it possible for my son to enjoy a fun treat from their shop with zero worry of contamination from his allergens. (YAY!) Ashley is just wonderful. She is always present and always happy to help. She is very passionate and it shows. My son especially loves the margherita brioche pizza but he also enjoys everything he has tried here! I had an amazing oreo sandwich cookie the other day and it was life changing. They have a weekly rotating menu (they are open Friday-Sunday) and I love that you never know what fun treats they are going to be serving on a weekly basis. They post their menu on their instagram and its exciting to go check it out every Friday. They also have an amazing coffee menu so don't miss out on that. My sons first birthday was last weekend so of course I had to order him a cake from peach & pine. This cake was GORGEOUS and the highlight of the party! Everyone was talking about how beautiful and delicious it was. My son LOVED it! All of this to say: This place is one you DO NOT want to miss. The best of the best.

On the day we chose to finally get ourselves there, it coincided with their 1st anniversary since opening this quaint brick & mortar storefront. As expected, there was a long line of people. No one seemed to mind not one bit because it's worth the wait! And everyone we chatted with on line was friendly and had been there before. They happily shared their experiences, favorites and suggestions. This is a small shop. Once inside, you are greeted with the wafting of pastries and coffee. It's delightful! On this morning, the bakery cases were full. Everything looked absolutely beautiful and yummy. It was difficult to choose because everything looked amazing. There was both sweet & savory. So there is something for everyone's palate. Both my husband and I got our own boxes filled with delectable goodies. The menu changes weekly. Once home, I was so excited to dig into our boxes and wondered if my many beautiful selections would taste as good as they looked. And oh boy, they did not disappoint!! YUMMY! Collectively, we tried the dark chocolate hazelnut croissant complete with speckled gold shavings, almond croissant, rainbow cake slice, blueberry lemon scone, raspberry pistachio danish and a Biscuits & Gravy. Fresh and delicious on all fronts. We'll be back again soon! *Worth noting: We got there around 10:30; they are open 10:00 - 4:00 (or until they sell out) on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. I suggest checking their IG to get up-to-date hours. A couple weeks back, we stopped by at around 2:30 on a Saturday only to be greeted with pulled shades and a locked door because they'd already sold out!

They have different bowl options for you to make yourself with different proteins & toppings (see photos). While I haven't taken the opportunity to dine in yet I have tried a few of the frozen meal options which I'll review below: -Spicy Buffalo Wrap: 4/5 -Crispy Buffalo Wrap: 3.5/5 -Soho Steak Bowl:3.5/5 -Chicken & Jalapeño Quesadilla:4/5 -Spicy Chicken Flat/Wrap:3/5 I haven't been super impressed with any of the take away meals, BUT they are super convenient and seem to be relatively healthy. There's a large variety of things to try which is nice and they all have nutritional value and ingredients on the labels. The only thing I'll mention is that the heating instructions are the same for everything we've gotten so far and 2minutes on a wrap is much different than 2 minutes on a steak bowl. One of the wraps basically turned to a mushy mess. Overall I'm happy with the variety and convenience of getting meals here for a fair price. If they were more than $10 each I'd probably hesitate a bit but for what you're paying I think it's a good value.
