When I called and asked where I could read the menu online the lady yelled "google!" at me, so I typed it in and lo and behold she was as good as her word, there was the yo kitchen menu in all its glory. Not festooned with unnecessary artistry, nay, this menu was a minimalist's dream come true. The prices appear not to have been updated since the mid 1980s, however The offerings are all classics of Chinese american quisine, fundamentals of the strip mall setting. Ultimately the food was overly greasy, and the leftovers sat in my fridge for a good week, untouched, until the demands of sanitation forced me to throw them out. Second review. Order placed 30 minutes before 7pm pickup on a Monday. Order was on time. Egg rolls were small and a little light on filling but tasty enough. Quart of fried rice was excellent. Quart of shrimp with lobster sauce had 20 medium shrimp. The sauce while somewhat tasty was not thickened enough to sit on the fried rice and puddled on the plate. I would give 0 stars if I could One of the worst Chinese restaurants I've ever been to. The food is so garbo, don't waste your money here I beg you. Got the sesame chicken combo and crab Rangoon, it was awful. No flavor or care given whatsoever about the food. The crab Rangoon was rubbery, wasn't cooked enough obviously, the filling inside did not taste like how it's supposed to taste. The sesame chicken was chewy and squishy, the color wasn't even right and one of the pieces was just the fatty skin. The broccoli was dry. The yellow rice was also dry. Overall the food was just nasty and flavorless, I don't know how people eat here. It's crazy because they weren't even busy, the restaurant was completely empty and they weren't getting any phone calls. They were using the heat as an excuse for their lazy cooking, which is not under anybody's control. As a customer paying my hard earned money for getting something to eat, the restaurant should be making better quality food if they want me to keep coming back and they can get more money. The food was so bad that I brought everything back and the only thing they said they could do was give a gift certificate as a refund which they need to fix because that's unacceptable. Also they said they would make a new batch but the gift card would have to be split in half, which I thought wasn't cool because the food was just so bad at the get go. I gave permission for them to make a new batch, they even put out samples of everything and it was still mid. Took the food and didn't even enjoy it and never finished it. It was really sad. Never coming back again, honestly praying for their downfall because they should be shut down for such unprofessionalism and poor excuse for Chinese cuisine. Honestly don't even understand these people's tastebuds around the area that buy this garbage because the food is completely flavorless and bland. Hope whoever sees this takes my advice and spends their money elsewhere because I wish I was warned to stay away. Also it's bizarre to see that there's good reviews on here about this place because this place is embarrassing. My family orders from here often, but after today, we will no longer place any more orders. Halfway through my egg drop soup I found a mysterious gooey substance, and a dead bug. Not only that, I received boneless spare ribs when I asked for them to be on the bone. I never leave reviews but after what I found in my food I feel sick to my stomach. read more

I am a truck driver and was hungry for some Chinese food. This place was close to where I was delivering and I decided to try it out. Huge mistake. I ordered the imperial tegerine and crab Rangoon. The crab Rangoon was very bland. The imperial tegerine sauce was tasteless. It is supposed to be spicy. The sauce was also runny, almost watery, instead of being thickened. The meat (chicken, beef & shrimp) is supposed to have a crispy coating. Instead, it was soggy and clumped together. I threw almost all of it away. The older male and female were yelling at each other in the kitchen in a very uncomfortable way. Luckily, I do not come here often and will never eat here again. read more
