I came here based on friends' recommendations and I'm more than happy with the service and quality! I brought in my Acura Integra for the 5 year ceramic coating since I wanted to make my life easier with future washes. Mind you, I got the car brand new and detailed from the dealer, so I was expecting the paint to already be in almost perfect condition. Upon working on my car, Alex found some imperfections and consulted with me and asked about adding a paint correction. He was honest with me and walked me through everything he found with my paint, but never forced or made me feel pressured to add it on! It's my first time getting ceramic coating for a vehicle and I honestly don't regret it or bringing it to YG -- my car looks immaculate now! It looks so much better than the detailing the dealership did before they sold me the car. Also highly appreciate how flexible Alex is with drop off and pickup times! He also answered all my questions and gave me detailed instructions on car washes and recommended products. Will definitely be bringing back our other vehicles here in the future! Thank you again Alex and his team! read more

Alex and his team were great. I had spilled milk in the trunk of my Tesla Model Y, and even after cleaning the visible area, a horrible smell started developing because the milk had leaked much farther underneath than I realized. Alex took the entire subtrunk apart, traced the spill all the way down to the very bottom, and thoroughly cleaned the affected areas multiple times to make sure the milk residue was actually removed instead of just masking the smell. He was very thorough, knowledgeable, and clearly cared about doing the job properly. Darren was also awesome. Both of them were super chill, easy to talk to, and made the whole experience way less stressful. Really glad I found them. Definitely recommend Alex and his team, especially if you're dealing with a difficult odor or spill that requires more than just a basic interior detail. read more

Brought our new car into Alex for a spa day. The car is new and we wanted to protect it. After a consultation with Alex about different options we went with a ceramic coating. Alex went over the pros and cons of several options, and never pressured us. The car had water spots from the quick rinse the dealer gave us on delivery. Alex got them all out before adding a ceramic coating. Even though we brought it in brand new, I was shocked at the transformation. The paint has a glossy depth that wasn't there before. While the car was in his shop we got frequent updates photos and videos. Very responsive, very friendly. Highly recommended YG! read more

A friend referred me to YG Auto Detailing and am happy I pulled the trigger! Alex was professional, responsive and very detailed. It was my first time getting my car detailed and am super impressed with the results. He addressed all my concerns such as dull areas, specks of tar on my roof, hood, trunk and restored shine in those areas. All the pine tree sap gone, my worst enemy! Thank you for the advice on best/easiest way to get rid of them. He even cleaned the nooks and crannies that I totally forgot was there! Plus, he restored my headlights on the house and it looks super sharp and clear, like new! I fell in love with my car all over again like the first time I got it. Overall, I am a happy and satisfied customer! And if my car can talk, she would say the same thing! read more

Alex from YG Auto Detailing saved my Lexus! I ran over a puddle of wet house paint that happened to splash all over my paint, underbody, and tail lights. This dried on the car and became a nightmare. Alex accepted the challenge and painstakingly removed every spec of paint then proceeded to do a paint correction and ceramic coat. The car is now looking better than when I bought it and I cant thank him enough! read more

Alex and the YG team is amazing. They worked with me to protect my car from the elements. I left the car with them for 3 days and the turnaround was great. The team offers lifetime warranty on the tint, and is willing to fix any imperfections that can happen after the install. They even threw in a stage 1 correction of the car due to water spots I didn't realize I had. The car received a Front PPF (headlights, hood, bumper, fenders), rocker panel PPF, and ceramic tint all around. You can tell they care about their work and this is a great example of it. Highly recommend. read more

Brought another ride in to YG to work their magic... Recently picked up a Model Y and wanted to get PPF and ceramic coating since Teslas are notorious for having thin paint. Found YG Auto Detailing from IG and following his work for years now since he started. Finally got to bring one of my cars and did not disappoint. Level of attention to detail is impeccable. I took my 370z that survived the Eaton fire with lingering smoke damage to Alex after a recommendation and I was blown away by how detail oriented and effective he was remediating the smoke. Instead of just doing a detailing he had the goal of removing the smoke smell, which led him to remove the blower in the HVAC system bringing it to a basically new clean state, and flushing the AC evaporator four times. Additionally, he let the car bake in the sun to verify that it was indeed smoke free. He also did an amazing job steaming and detailing the entire inside of the car, making it look new! Alex also was incredibly communicative and sent regular updates with pictures of how the whole process was going and when he felt like he needed repeat cleanings. I explained that this work would eventually be covered by the insurance and he was very understanding of the process and created a narrative within the invoice to be very explicit about what steps he took and why they were required for full smoke removal. When I picked up the car we both forgot that I had a small toolbag in the trunk, which he discovered after I had already driven back to Altadena. That night, Alex went out of his way to drive it to me from Pomona which I greatly appreciate. All in all, Alex did exactly what I had hoped for in a detailing and remediation. He was very communicative and clearly took pride in the detailed level of work does, all for a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend his detailing work for anyone looking for a curated detailing experience and completely work the drive to Pomona. read more

I've been going to Alex for 2 years now for my car wrap. The first time I went was when I got rear ended. I checked around at different places but none of them could take me in because I had a custom wrap on my car and they only worked on exclusive brands. I reached out to Alex and he was more than happy to help me out. He was very transparent about the pricing even though he had to ship the wrap overseas. He ordered the exact wrap that my car had and had Aldo work on it. I love their attention to detail because the wrap job came out better than my previous one. I reached out to Alex a year later for another accident that I had. This time I had to replace my front bumper, but again Alex was able to help me out with my wrap. I also had a dent on my hood that no one was able to fix. Every other car shop I went to told me that the only way to fix it was to replace the hood, but Alex was able to fix it and replace the wrap on it as well! Definitely recommend Alex for any of your detailing needs. Every time I go to him, I know that my car is in good hands! read more

I had an incredible experience with YG Auto Detailing. They brought my black Lincoln Navigator back to life with a full interior and exterior detail that genuinely exceeded my expectations. Anyone who owns a black car knows how unforgiving the paint can be, but Alex knew exactly what to do -- and just as importantly, what not to do. His expertise showed in every step. Aldo also did phenomenal work installing colored PPF where my previous vinyl had failed. The craftsmanship and precision were next level. What really stood out was Alex's communication and passion. He kept me updated in real time throughout the process, and it's clear he truly enjoys what he does. He's an automotive enthusiast at heart, and it shows in the pride he takes in his work. Words can't really describe just how thankful I am of Alex and his team at YG Auto Detailing. I've been going to them exclusively for the past over 5 years. He's taken care of all of my cars, from my '96 Z3, my '24 GR Corolla, my '21 S5, and now the most important car I've owned, my grandfather's 10k mile 2003 Accord EX-V6. When I told Alex about the story behind the car, about how it had come into my possession after my grandfather passed at age 92, he told me he wanted to make sure the car was protected and cleaned up to ensure it could be preserved at the level my grandfather did all 23 years he'd owned it, and words can't describe how amazing Alex and his team did on it. They ALWAYS take care of my cars but they went above and beyond this time. If you're looking for a detailer, you shouldn't look anywhere else. Thank you, Alex, for honoring my grandfather like you did. You're the best. read more

We met the guys at a local car meet a couple months back, they spoke with us and gave us details on what they offer. We kept their info as we weren't needing any services at the moment. Once I needed a front lip wrapped and installed on my car, they were the first shop I called. Explained what I needed done and they got me in within the week to have the work done. Absolutely thrilled with the front lip installation by YG Auto Detailing. From start to finish, the process was seamless. The attention to detail was unmatched, and the final fitment was spot-on--no gaps, no misalignments, just perfection. I ended up having to come back a couple of times to fix some minor issues but the team took care of me and handled it well. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about their work. They handled my car with care, and the end result has completely transformed the look of my vehicle. This review has been overdue for quite some time. First off, I'd like to say that Alex at YG Auto is genuine, informative, and a great person/owner. He has taken care of me beyond my expectations. I had prior experience in detailing but working under him over the summer of 2024, I have learned more under his wing. but that is beside the point. Recently, I took my car to him as a customer to get my windows tinted and get my windshield replaced. However, there were some unexpected delays where my car sat for two months but he has taken care of me regardless. The attention to detail that he has when detailing is absolutely phenomenal. He takes care of his customers' cars as if it were his own. I would recommend anyone to get a detail from him without any hesitations. Thank you again Alex for your amazing work and hope to doing business with you again! read more

I have been a long-time customer of a car wash in Pasadena, and recently I couldn't make it there to get my car washed before an important meeting. Searching locally, I found YG Auto Detailing, and its reviews are impressive. I decided to book a wash + floor mat cleaning. The garage is in an industrial part of Pomona - just off the Mission exit on 71. Once arrived, Alex explained the process clearly, and I stayed in the comfortable waiting room to do some work (there is coffee, TV, etc, but I was just sitting on the big sofa working). While YG's price is slightly higher than Pasadena, Alex's superb services offers far more value. At the Pasadena garage, I would go in, and the wash would be done in 20 minutes. Here, Alex went into great detail and thoroughly cleaned the interior and exterior. Instead of just running a shop vac through the car, he used various tools to pick up debris from the fabric (going beyond a "wash" and into "detailing"), and various nooks and hard-to-get-to places were also cleaned (I found out after arriving home). Therefore, for nearly the same price, Alex's service went above and beyond the industry standards and blurred the line between car wash and detailing. I never thought there is room to shake up the "car wash" industry, but I think Alex is on to something - I am now sold on the quality and value of YG, and I would return for a clay bar service before my future work meetings. Note: it is better to call one to two weeks ahead to arrange a booking - this is not a "walk in and drive off in 20 minutes" place. read more

Alex was straightforward with his cost estimates, timely with his responses to my inquiries, and was refreshing with his honest and trustworthy approach to his work. He is very proud of the quality of work he and his crew do and it shows! I have had two of my vehicles worked on so far.
