They provided some gluten free items upon request also. I got so many compliments on the food! We were served a full brunch with beverage stations (worth paying extra for on sight staff.) We also had a light lunch & breakfast day 2. Favorite items were crustless quiches, poke, fresh swordfish & tea sandwiches. Service was impeccable. I highly recommend Party Time Hawaii for any and all of your future events!…read more I first reached out to Dave about a week before my sons 1st birthday party. I was worried they wouldn't have availability since it was so last minute, but we were able to book with him! His replies were always very fast (within 20 minutes) and he made the booking process so quick and easy. Their prices are very reasonable as well! On the day of the party, they arrived early to set up. We booked them for balloon twisting and airbrush tattoos and all our guests, both children and adults, loved them! Their work was very beautiful and all the kids kept lining back up for more. It was adorable seeing all the tattoos and balloons everywhere! They were so great with the kids and all our guests had so much fun. Dave made my son a Winnie the Pooh balloon and he absolutely loved it. The sweet woman working with Dave (unfortunately I forget her name, my brain was all over the place at the time) made my son a little turtle balloon bracelet and he was obsessed with it! She also asked for my favorite color, and then made me a rose balloon in that color! She actually walked all the way across the room to hand them to us both times. They were both very sweet people! All in all, I'm so happy with this whole experience from beginning to end! Thank you Party Time Hawaii, I highly recommend!

First off, Cheryl is amazing and so easy to work with; she cares and is so understanding. Having her over for this party has literally been 6 years in the making (she was originally set to be there for my daughter's 1st birthday party-- but COVID). Fast forward to last year, and once again we had to reschedule (due to getting COVID). Still, she let us reschedule and we were SO incredibly happy to finally have them today. They were friendly, professional, sweet to the kids at the party and they completely set up and took down their set up without needing anything from me. Now, the cotton candy was no JOKE! They offered a variety of flavors and the favorite of the party seemed to be green river. The kids (and adults) were stoked with it. Side note, I was half expecting the little pieces of cotton candy to fly similar to the at home cotton candy machine I have at home but everything was pretty contained! Also, don't get me started on the popcorn!!! They offered different sizes (small and large) and had different toppings and seasonings! People could customize their popcorn with seasoning like garlic, elote, Parmesan, cheddar cheese, and MORE! Cheryl and her sweet team are definitely the best in the business and I will definitely book them again in the future (now--to find a reason to have them over again sometime soon hehe).

Melissa, her husband, and their dog Chief are so warm and welcoming. The panoramic oceanfront views are stunning. The workspace is spacious enough to comfortably host large groups. The kitchen setup, complete with a full-sized fridge, was incredibly convenient for our needs. Melissa is a master of her craft. When booking online I always get a response within the day either confirming or letting me know they are already booked. I really appreciate that! We just hosted a birthday party for my 4 year old granddaughter and 60 guests and were happy to have balloon artist Gideon return! Gideon is always on time, comes 20-30 min ahead of time to set up, brings his own extension cord for outlet, and is prepared with all tools, supplies and signage. He has a nice picture board showing all the designs both classic and new that may appeal to your guests, young and old alike! This year the popular item was a balloon purse holding a puppy! But he also did some beautiful large Unicorns, cute backpacks, swords, and I saw many other colorful creations! We reserved him for two hours and he sculpted about 50-60 art within that time frame. The prices are so reasonable and you really get the best bang for your buck because he is always the WOW of the party! Gideon is VERY professional, dresses nice, easy set up and is patient with the children. Their entire family is involved in this business so no matter which artist comes to your party, you will be thrilled and so will your guests! Mahalo to Gideon, Jimmie and Amber for many years of having our corporate guests, public event attendees and now our personal parties be amazing! See you for granddaughter's 5th next year and a new grandson his 2nd!

NOW, THIS IS TALENT!…read more WOW!! After seeing the creativity and talent from Adventure Balloons, you can't help but feel a little jipped by other entertainers... those clowns. Hahaha, jk! Seriously tho, I'm not trying to be mean, but MAN! Those other companies don't even compare. My brother and I were in absolute awe at my nephew's 1st birthday party this past Saturday. Adventure Balloons definitely made the party! I'd say the only thing that rivaled them was the spectacular view... because OMG, I was melting! Oahu Country Club is GORGEOUS!!!! Once everyone saw the first intricate balloon design, the kids AND adults were lining up to get their hands on one! I even saw one of the moms walking past my table with a full on ladybug outfit. Like... this ain't no ordinary clown show, y'all! I swear, if I could've thought of a character or design I loved on the spot, I would've asked them to make one for ME! Unfortunately, I didn't get the best pictures of my nephew's balloons because these dudes cannot stay still. They're 3 & 5 - you go ahead and try telling them to stay still! Lol -- the person making the balloons was so friendly, playful, and patient btw. We were chatting with him while he was hard at work. Stellar job, Jimmie! (I think that was you haha) The Luigi w/mushroom and Pikachu were SO cute! The creativity, detail, and precision that went into these designs were seriously impressive. Highly recommend Adventure Balloons for your next family party! Trust me - the kids will LOVE them, and honestly, the adults will be just as entertained watching what they create! 10/10 creativity & definitely a highlight of the party!

We picked out our random accessories from the props table and filmed seven seconds of video in front of a screen. It was awkward to the say the least because we had to make sure we didn't go out of the screen boundaries! I was completely amazed at how quickly they printed, cut and bound the flipbook. Dang, you cray cray flipbooks! I love my two flipbooks and it's a great way to capture the memory of a fabulous night at Black Ties & Blue Jeans! THIS COMPANY IS AMAZING!…read more I wanted something a little different for our wedding, and when I came across Flipbooks website, I was hooked immediately. I booked Flipbooks for my wedding last Saturday (7.5.14), and from the very start, they were incredible. I worked primarily with co-owner, Erica Martin. She is the sweetest lady in the world, completely professional, and so gracious and kind. Most of our correspondence was done over email, since I reside in California. Erica was very prompt with calling and emailing the entire time. She was always available and sooooo friendly every time we spoke. Eveyone raved about the Flipbook booth at the wedding. The final product is so much more interactive than doing just a regular photo booth. The guests had an absolute blast. I would definitely recommend this company for any event you have in mind :)

We're so happy we had Fred + Kate as our wedding planning team!

We hired Fred and Kate Events for our wedding at Lanikuhonua since the venue requires a licensed…read morewedding planner. We chose their full-service package as this package included sourcing vendors for us, but hiring them turned out to be the biggest mistake of our wedding. 1. Subpar vendor sourcing The vendor recommendations were completely misaligned with our vibe and significantly overpriced. They provided only a single option per category with zero room for comparison. We ended up having to research, vet, and book almost all the other vendors ourselves to get the vibe we wanted at a much more affordable price point. 2. Day-of logistics & communication failure Despite asking for our bus driver's contact details in advance, the team did not coordinate with him. Our driver had to repeatedly call us directly on our wedding day while we were trying to get ready and enjoy the moment. When we brought this up to the team, the excuse given was simply, "Oh yeah, we have never worked with him before." As professional planners, coordinating with new vendors is the bare minimum expectation. 3. Rude and unprofessional attitude on the day A wedding planner should keep the atmosphere calm and positive. Instead, Tessa created unnecessary stress and hostility: a. Disrespectful to Our Officiant: Our officiant, a close friend who walked us through marriage preparation and flew all the way to Hawaii, politely asked Tessa a logistical question and was bluntly told, "Now is not the time to be asking these questions." Right before our march-in, she was openly talking rudely about him in front of our entire bridal party, killing the excitement and making everyone feel uncomfortable. b. Aggressive tone with groomsmen: During the groomsmen photoshoot, she snapped at one of the groomsmen for chewing gum, aggressively telling him: "Is that gum? You either spit it out or you swallow it." 4. Zero Accountability We hesitated to write a public review and reached out privately via email first to share our experience. Their response did not include a single apology or acknowledgment of their shortcomings. Every single external vendor we sourced and hired on our own was fantastic, but Fred and Kate Events consistently added tension, failed on coordination, and treated our closest friends and family with disrespect. Would totally look elsewhere for wedding coordination.
