Went in ultimately on 4/29/22 dropped car off that morning around 11am (yea we had a problem previously about getting an appointment for Service that they'd had technicians out and no open slots couldn't even make appointment online that they'd turned off those options for customers but salesman came back to phone to tell us to bring car in and they'd get it took care of) to have oil changed on 2022 Chevy Spark which we'd gotten done (received call around 2pm to come pick up Spark got back to Dealer around 215p) and there was some issues paying we'd previously purchased the full package of extended warranties through the dealership and shouldn't have had to pay for Services but salesman quickly helped us get that taken care of (took 3-5 days to get my money back) but while there we wanted to see what we could do to get partners name off the Spark and our previous salesman said we could trade in the Spark on something else and he'd do everything he could to get us around what we we're paying for the Spark $338 monthly that the value of the Spark was probably going to be more because values of cars was strange right now and so we test drove Chevrolet Trax SUV, I really fell in love with TRAX SUV and we proceeded in trading in the Spark (something I reflect back on is salesman saying the Trax was the same price of Spark 22,000 and payment would be about the same) as the processes proceeded he filled in my information there at his desk and went back and forth several times to the Station in the middle assume where they run information to determine which banks will take or give me a loan he came back to the desk at one point to tell us the value of the Trax SUV was 27,000ish dollars which threw us because we initially understood $22,000, but we proceeded still saying that to get our payments around $338 which again was what we were paying for the Spark, he'd come back to desk a few more times and nothing seemed to be where we wanted the financials to fall, the last value I understood and said I would pay was $400 monthly and he went back to center area and came pack with $498 (which isn't what I asked for in any of all the time we were there) but decided to go ahead with that thinking it was for the value of the car $27,000ish; then proceeded into office with Finance lady and signing of contracts and through that whole process was not at any point told there would be additional fees (she seemed to be preoccupied with stuff going on at home with her cat getting loose) again I understood $498 a month for the value of car at $27,000ish dollars and that's what I signed contracts understanding as well until papers came in the mail for interest rate of 10.29 which I wasn't made aware of (at all threw the whole process) with additional fees (finance charges) for $10,000 and it was at this Point I realized I was taken advantage of; I wouldn't have proceeded with trade in had I known their would be $10,000 tacked on...(it felt like we were there I know for at-least 3-4 hours and that in itself was ridiculous as well) They don't call back... So I received a response to my review a week after writing it on the Google reviews site but, the response seemed to be very automated looking like it didn't have much feeling or concern in the message at all; they supposedly wanted to correct this situation but I have called 3-4 different times and each time left messages and to this day not received a callback. The first time I called and asked who I needed to talk to about a review I had written, the response stated "feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience" no one I seemed to talk to knew who I needed to talk to. Another time I had been told they were going to give my message to a sales manager and received no call back then one day I called on a Wednesday and asked for the Lot Manager and been told they took my message for the Manager who'd been off that day and still to this day not gotten a callback. Yes Chevrolet will screw you. They paired us with Flagship Credit Acceptance which is a crap company. We didn't have the car a week (2021 rav4) before it was overheating,seals leaked and other problems they hid. The sales manager is a crap bag and will push vehicles that are crap on people,but fluff the car. We had to argue with them over fixing the car, and they still didn't do all the repairs and refused to finish the work. The battery went bad not 3mo later...they refused to fix it ($290 batt) so we ate it. Yes Chevrolet is dangerous and screws customers. read more

Yes Chevrolet has recently conducted a marketing campaign that ends April 9 2022, commonly known as BAIT AND SWITCH. I received in the mail a large scratch-off flyer with two chances to win Money and prizes from 20,000 to a flat screen TV, a list of eight great prizes. Usually I just throw those in the trash, but after seeing pictures of winners predominantly displayed on the large game piece I decided to give it a whirl. After doing the scratchoff, the game piece indicated that not only did I win 250.00, but a flat screen TV as well. After reading the odds also indicated on the game piece 1 in 70,000 I just knew there was no way that I could win both, and that this was just a ploy to get people into the car dealership. So I decided to call the toll free number to see if I indeed did win, but alas all I got was voice mail. So I decided to call the dealership. A courteous lady asked me for my validation codes also on the game piece and put me on hold. A couple of minutes she came back on the line and congratulates me on winning both prizes, and instructed me to be sure I bring my ID and the flyer to be able to claim my prizes. I told her it was hard for me to believe that I had won two prizes given the odds. I also told her that it would take about two hours and 20 dollars in gas to drive up and back. She again congratulated me, assured me I had indeed won what was stated in the game piece, and made me a appointment the next day to receive my prizes. I WAS IN A STATE OF DISBELIEF. So the next day I spent two and a half hours and a quarter tank of gas to receive my prizes. When I walked through the door, there were no less then 15 PEOPLE WITH THE SAME FLYER, THAT HAD WON THE SAME PRIZES. You can only imagine what went through my head at that point. As I looked closer Yes Chevrolet Staff was in the process of gathering information on the game piece holders and filling out a form, I'm guessing to sell or for use in future marketing Campaigns, or both. I asked for Bill. whom was a manager and asked him to present my prizes. He produced a chart that had the prizes that were listed on the game piece, however on that chart WERE TWO ADDITIONAL PRIZES THAT WERE NOT LISTED ON THE GAME PIECE I HAD RECEIVED. AND THE TWO PRIZES WERE A 2 DOLLAR BILL, AND A VERY CHEAP PAIR OF GENERIC EAR BUDS which sell for 15.00 (MADE IN China). And yes your right that is exactly what I was presented with. And when Bill presented me the two dollar bill he said " Here is a crisp two dollar bill printed in 1976", as if I was a five year old getting a new shiny penny. DISCUSTED I ASKED BILL HOW CAN ANYONE AND I MEAN ANYONE CAN TRUST A CAR DEALERSHIP THAT GOT THEM INTO THIER STORE BY TOTALLY MISLEADING NOT ONLY THE INDIVIDUALS BUT HUNDREDS IF NOT THOUSANDS OF INDIVIDUALS IN VARIOUS COMMUNITIES. I noticed not many vehicles on the lot, and not one Silerado Pickup Truck. SO I ASKED WHY DO THIS WITH LITTLE INVENTORY, THE RESPONSE WAS, " WE HAVE 2 SILVERADOS IN STOCK AND WE CAN PLACE AN ORDER." Terrible customer service and there "sales" are a joke especially there bait and switch gimmick to get you to come in.

I bought a used traverse from this dealership in November... June rolls around and I start to use my AC for the first time realizing it's only blowing out cold on one side. I call them considering I had only had the car a few months and this issue had to be an issue there when sold. They say ac isn't their problem to fix but they could look at it and give me an estimate and was very rude. I took the car to another mechanic because at that point I'm not dealing with them. Issue turned out to be tampered ac box that looks like it's been tampered with to temporarily blow and my mechanic says the dealer has to replace the box Which is over 1200. So take it up to dealer they run a free diagnostic because I'm irate And says the issue is something else and needs Freon and quoted me over 2,000 for the issue, then when I'm leaving the sales team tries to get me to buy a new traverse and I was like nope I will never do business with them again and recommend no one else fall for these con artists either. I now have an attorney involved. read more

My car was returned with brakes that shook me out of the car. Paint job with multiple runs, unpainted, unsmooth surfaces. Rear quarter panel sticking out, which to this day is still missing clips after calling it out and was supposedly fixed. All of which were fixed, outside of the brakes which I had done after heading out of town and the quarter panel. I refuse to go back because once I called them out on it before the shop manager was aggressive, and made nothing but excuses. I spoke to his senior and it was swept under the rug. My problems meant nothing; so, if you want quality service go elsewhere. That is if you love your car and have a distaste for substandard services with a frown. Absolute worst experience of my life. Brought my Corvette to be serviced here, because I heard they were reliable & did good work. Fast forward 6 months & they have yet to do any fucking work in general. Told me for 4 months straight that there was no OEM parts or aftermarket parts available at the moment (all while charging my insurance company a lot fee) when I finally decide to take matters into my own hands & I find both parts I need while plenty in stock & ready to shipped. So after getting on their asses they finally decide to pick up the pace & finally order my shit (at least they said they did) & now it's every single week "sorry man something came up haven't started yet." "Sorry man part didn't come in the day it said it would" after telling me every week that they have all the parts & ready to proceed with assembly. Wouldn't recommend this jerk off of a dealership to ANYONE; whether it's for service or buying a new vehicle. read more

At first (I thought) I'd had a great sales experience with Leo. However that all changed when I had to get my first inspection/oil change. First, I had put less than 6,000 miles on my car since I took it home. My inspection failed because I needed brake pads. How could my brake pads have gotten that bad in the time I'd had my car? Conclusion - they sold it to me knowing they were not good. That is only the beginning. I scheduled an appointment to get the brake pads installed. During my appointment, after about an hour and a half the service manager, Brian, told me that it would be a little longer because they had to go to Saint Albans to get new pads - they'd gotten the wrong ones. Ok, that's fine. Mistakes happen. Another hour and a half goes by and he comes out at closing and told me that they'd gotten the wrong brake pads AGAIN and that I'd need to come back in. What?! I'd already spent the money on the inspection, and this is my certified dealer, so begrudgingly I decided I would have to make another appointment - especially since they had slapped a big red REJECTED sticker on my car. I called FOUR times, each time being sent to voicemail. I left two. My husband called THREE times and also left a voicemail. A total of SEVEN phone calls and three voicemail messages and no one could be bothered to do their job and call me back! I have never, ever experienced such terrible customer service in my life. Purchased a Ford F-150 from them 3 weeks ago. They're great when you're buying a vehicle, after that the customer service is terrible. They only had 1 key when I bought the truck, but offered to get me another key and have it programmed for free. But I had to go to the Yes Ford store in Huntington to have it programmed. The sales guy told me Brian Meadows was the point of contact, he'd be calling me in a couple of days to make an appointment for the key ( they needed the truck to program the key). Never got a call. When I started calling both stores, looking for Brian or anyone who could help me with the key, I got the run-around. Transferred to extensions with a full mail box, or would ring and ring and no one would answer. After 6-8 calls, they finally put me thru to a working voicemail, but nobody ever called back. I finally went to the Yes Ford service Dept and talked to Baylee, and she says 'oh yeah, we have your key'. Problem solved after 2 weeks. When I had the truck about 25 days, it developed a bad rattle when starting. Tried to schedule an appointment to take advantage of the 30 day warranty, same issue as before. No answers, dumped to voicemail boxes that were full, etc. When I finally got to talk to a service manager, I was told the warranty is 30 days OR 1,000 miles. Sales guy Paul failed to mention the 'or 1,000 miles part'. By this time I had put 1,500+ miles on the truck. But they'd be glad to work on my truck at the full labor rates. Do yourself a favor, go to Moses, Dutch Miller or Joe Holland. The Yes stores aren't worth the trouble. I'm going to Moses Ford to have the rattle checked out. read more

I would give zero stars if I could! This dealership is awful...very dishonest and misleading. I received and sent several text messages with the dealership. This does not include our time on the phone when I was told that there was a soft credit check ran and that 4 finance companies was willing to accept us for financing. I asked to have a hard pull credit check done before I came in which I know can be done, I explained that I would not have a down payment and I had to drive 80 miles each way and that I did not want to do so for nothing and was assured it would be a positive outcome. We were not approved, we were asked to give a down payment of $3,000-$4,000....they are liars and I do not recommend this place, they do not try very hard to help at all, we were there less than 30 minutes and the salesman was gone maybe 10 "trying" to get us approved! My first experience with Hurricane Chevrolet was several years back with their sales department. I did a lot of research on the used vehicle I wanted and found one on their lot. It was several thousand dollars over priced based on several sites (including NADA and KBB) but I thought I would give them a try since they are local. However, I found the manager and sales rep to be very disrespectful and even lied to me four different times in order to justify the high cost of their vehicle. I pointed out each lie, which aggravated them to the point where they more or less kicked me out. I ended up finding the exact vehicle I wanted 3 hours away for $3000 less and 10000 miles less and never had a single problem with it. My second experience was with their service department. I had issues with one of my vehicles transmission, which was still covered under warranty. The staff working in the service department were very friendly. The problem I had was with the timeframe of work and the lack of communication. I never knew what was going on or any kind of estimated timeframe and if I called I never got an answer or a returned call after leaving a message. The only way I could learn anything regarding my vehicle was by physically going there and finding someone to talk to. My other problem was when I took the vehicle back due to some continued transmission problems. They held the vehicle for over 2 weeks and called me one time at the start to tell me they could not duplicate my problems. I told them several different things to try in order to get the same results. They said they would try what we discussed and call back the next day. I never heard back from them and no matter when or how many times I called or left messages I never heard back from them until I physically went in. I asked about my vehicle and was pretty much told they forgot about it and told me they would get right to it and call me the next day. I didn't hear from them for another 3 days until I finally went in to take my vehicle back and bring it somewhere else. Overall, I've had terrible experiences with this place from lying to make a sale, disrespectful management (at least the shift manager that I dealt with), lack of communication, no care in backing their own work or making things right. I probably should not have gone back to them each time that I did but I have learned my lesson now and would not recommend this place to others. read more

I called the dealership when they were closed on Sunday night and left a message about a vehicle we saw on the lot. The next morning I called to inquire about the vehicle and it was still available. I asked if there was anything I needed to do to ensure the vehicle would be there when I got off of work later Monday afternoon. The salesperson said no. When I arrived after work and asked about the vehicle as a salesperson ran up on me as soon as we got out of car. I ask him where the car is, and he shakes his head and groans. You sold it, right? "Yep, a guy was in for service and saw it over there and ended up driving it home." So they were supposed to hold a specific vehicle for me and sold it right from under me. I was interested in another vehicle on the lot as well, but basically gave the salesman a piece of my mind and told them I would never buy a car at Hurricane Chevrolet. Both of these vehicles were used. I ended up going to another dealer nearby and getting a brand new car for about $2K more. Poor customer service. read more
