I recently moved to the area and was excited to find a new nail salon, but unfortunately, my experience here was incredibly disappointing. While the customer service at the front desk was great, the actual nail service was awful. I showed my nail tech a reference photo and clearly explained what I wanted, but the way he did the design wasn't what I had asked for. When I politely asked for a small adjustment, he immediately became rude--scoffing, shaking his head, making rude comments, and acting like I had waited until he was completely finished to say something (which was not the case). The way he positioned my hand made it difficult for me to see what he was doing, and I only noticed the mistake when he asked me to put my hand under the light. I asked for the fix before that, but instead of simply adjusting the design, he angrily wiped everything off, making me feel super uncomfortable. I went home in tears because I had already been having a rough day and had gotten my nails done to lift my mood. My boyfriend later went back to ask for a refund after seeing how upset I was, but they refused and instead gave him the owner's number--who never answered or got back to us. They also continued to blame me, insisting that I "waited until he was done," which is simply not true. I never leave negative reviews, but this experience was beyond disappointing. If you're looking for a salon that values customer satisfaction and professionalism, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. read more

I think this salon must be under new ownership or management. I walked in and got in quickly. There was no pressure to buy the upgraded pedicure package or to upgrade to gel for my toes. I had THE BEST and most long lasting gel manicure I've ever had. The manicurist took his time on my very poor cuticles and on smoothing out my nails. I have very rough/lumpy nails and gels and dips always seem to lift in the corner after a few days. These have lasted over 2 weeks and are still going strong! read more

I should have read these reviews first. Apparently the owners don't care because the negatives that were mentioned in reviews 1+ years ago are still happening. I needed a basic pedicure, $25 was a good price, so I dropped in. The young woman who did my nails was friendly, but she cut two toenails at a very noticeable angle, and also cut all of them straight across (little sharp edges on each side! Ingrown toenails, anyone?). She was also a little sloppy, some mistakes weren't cleaned up. The entire thing took only 35 minutes (my last pedi, 8 months ago, cost the same and took almost 90 minutes which included "drying" the nails under a blue light). Most places charge a bit more, but you get what you pay for. I'll try other places next time. read more

When I got there i found out that they told 4 other the same thing and they have been waiting. After waiting for over half an hour a customer walks in and they take her straight away. I have been seeing Mimi here for years for both manis and pedis. She pays attention to detail and does not rush through anything. I'm always so indecisive about color and design but she always points me in the right direction and I'm in love with my nails each and every time I walk out of the salon. Everyone is always nice and though I don't see the other technicians they always speak to me and have happy clients as well. Definitely go give this salon a try if you are looking for a great place to get your mani/pedi! read more

I hate to leave any negative reviews, but I just left here feeling pretty disappointed. I went in wanting gel polish on my toes and hands and ended up paying 80$ all together. I needed a place that was capable of doing designs while creating nails that last, so I tried Friendly Nails in Sabraton. I was thoroughly impressed! I quickly became a regular because not only do you get in quickly to have them done, but they take the time to ensure that you get what you came for! The girls are so friendly and they make you feel like you belong, unlike other salons where you can tell you're being talked about. Would never recommend anyone go here. I went in and asked for a full new set and brought in a picture of the gel polish I wanted. Not only was the male manicurist unfriendly, but he cussed the entire time he was removing my acrylics. He tore up every real nail and wouldn't stop when I was near to tears because he was hurting me so badly. My color and design was nothing like what I asked for. The inside is very nice and luxurious looking but do not fool yourself. I really regret going here. actually this will probably be the last time i get my nails done out. I went in on sunday at 3 and i was totally rushed. The lady who did my nails was nice but i could have done better designs then she did and it was just polka dots and a heart. I even try to be optimistic about them and post a pic on fb and someone even called me out on the shitty job that was done. The girl said she wouldnt have paid for it if she was her. I even asked for acrylic nails but they basically upcharged and told me that what i wanted in the picture was gel nail and thats what i needed. I also felt uncomfortable with the amount of talking and laughing done in their language that I felt left out of the conversation. update: my roommate went here a few days ago to get her acrylic nails taken off and to get new ones put on. she came back and told me that the man ripped off her acrylic nail and a part of her real nail went with it and she started bleeding. the man didn't seem to care and went about putting acrylic powder over it and she had to stop and take a minute because she was in so much pain. please do not wast your time here. they obviously do not care about their customers!!!! read more

Worst experience at nail salons ever! The man who actually own the place is rather rude. When I went in for a manicure they insisted on giving me gel nails no explained I didn't want gel, I just wanted a regular manicure and all they did was literally just put a light coat of paint on my nails. They didn't cut them or file them, nothing. Just simply painted them in about two minutes. The one time I did get gel nails, the man doing my nails talked about his daughter, and her high school grades the entire time and what a horrible school WVU is. They also tend to talk in Chinese the entire time with one another and laugh which made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I've also gone here for my eyebrows and I've tend to find that I've definitely gone other places where my eyebrows turned out MUCH better. Do Not go to Friendly Nail - They rush threw and they are rude. Went in sat a good while then when I did get a chair the male worker rushed so fast threw my nails they were lumpy- when I said something about it he got rude with me. He hurt me several time- looking away from what he is doing, and the whole time talking on his phone. The Lady who owns- the place polished my nails, but the polish job was not good -I had to come home and but a top coat on to fix them. when I paid for the service she ask If I was going to leave a tip on my credit card I said I had cash for it. I have had acrylic nails on for over six months and get them done faithfully every two weeks. I was home for winter break and thought I would try friendly nails. I needed a fill. The woman that did them left a cut in every single finger. Today my fingers are so sore I can not wash them without them hurting. I have gone to many different nail places, and this was the absolute worst business I have ever seen. She made my nails shorter than I liked which was fine. But it was not okay that she made my fingers have cuts all over them. I went in and asked for my money back considering that's the least they could do. The lady that did it tried to make it seem like it was my fault and the man was yelling no refunds. I am not the person to complain, but this is the worst place you could ever go. Do not waste your time or money here. And if you care about your nails you probably don't want cuts on them. If you care about your hands, I would recommend never ever going there. read more
