i absolutely LOVED the service that Lovely Nails provided. they took their time, i was a tiny bit annoyed since i was on a time crunch (that's my fault). i have always been so used to the fast paced nails and half done pedicure. my full set looks GORGEOUS and i would recommend this place to everyone i came into contact with. they were SO polite and made me feel comfortable. i got a classic pedicure with gel and it's very well done. i will definitely be returning and hope to become a regular!!! read more

DO NOT GO HERE - DANGEROUS I'm devastated right now because I just found out my favorite salon in Morgantown uses MMA for their acrylics, which is ILLEGAL and DANGEROUS!! I'm struggling to get my acrylics off because it is gummy and sticky, which EMA (safe) acrylics NEVER do. If you value your health, go somewhere else! To say that Lee did an amazing job on my nails would be an understatement! I visited Lovely Nails for the first time today to get a full acrylic set and talked to the woman doing my nails about some bad nail experiences I've had at other salons. The amount of care put into these nails is immeasurable to what you would experience at any other salon in Morgantown, each nail is absolutely perfect and Lee took her time to make sure her little pieces of art reflected exactly what I wanted. The entire service was only $45 with gel polish, also including the nice conversations I had with two of the workers. I highly recommend you check this salon out! I was hesitant to get work done here because of some of these reviews, but the shop is now under new management, and provided me a service better than any I've had in a salon before. I can't recommend Lee enough! She seems pretty popular and highly sought- after with clients, so I will be scheduling an appointment with her for my next fill and for now on! read more

Will not be back, the guy that did my nails was so rude, just because I did want change my polish to gel polish, even went as far as saying if he ever opens his own salon it would be gel polish only, then the whole time he was doing my nails he would keep saying stuff under his breath, the guy who did my toes was great, also heard after getting my nails done there how unsanitary they are and I believe it because they didn't use bags in the water for the pedicures then scrubbed it out with a regular soap and sponge. read more

I got a French manicure, I asked Tina to please put a clearpink color on the base part under the white tip and she said no it wouldn't look natural. But I told her that's how I like it. She again said it doesn't need that and won't look natural and wouldn't do it. I am a paying customer and didn't ask for them to look natural I asked for a pink base. I had a much better experience than the other reviewer. My massage chair worked, and the technician got rid of all my callouses safely and painlessly with a razor and pumice stone/brush thing. Also, they didn't charge extra for using the razor on my callouses, and any other salon I've been to charged at least $5 extra. It seemed very clean, obviously using new instruments for each person, and got a nice little leg and foot massage as well. Can't beat all of that for a $25 pedicure. These guys are so bad - do not use this salon. I know it's slim pickings in Morgantown but this salon is expensive, rude, bad nail techs and they fight with their customers. It's crazy. i came here one week ago to get a full set and they did a terrible job. the paint was chunky and uneven and the shape of each nail was slightly different. after four days one of the nails fell off, then a week after another two nails fell off. i don't recommend coming here at all. read more

I went there five times total. The first two times with Tina were very nice and I loved my nails! However, the last three times I had the young gentleman that worked there (not sure what his name is). The first time I had him was for a fill and he completely ignored what I asked him to do...the color was nice the shape was nothing what I asked for. The second time I hated my nails...he rushed to get them done and they looked awful. Therefore, I was willing to give them another try because I liked when Tina did them so I called and made an appointment with her. When I arrived I still waited at least half an hour and then they sat me in a chair AND THE YOUNG GENTLEMAN came and asked for my hands! I stated I had an appointment with Tina and they said she was busy for awhile. I decided to just go ahead and have him do it because I needed to be somewhere afterwards. This time was the LAST time I will ever go there! He did such a horrible job. I showed him a picture from Pinterest, not only did he NOT give me anything close to the length and shape that I requested but the color looked absolutely NOTHING at all like the picture!!! Also, all three times my filed acrylics were very noticeably crooked! The other employees are nice and friendly and do a great job and talk with you but this guy is a complete DEAL BREAKER. He doesn't listen to what you ask, he doesn't talk to you at all or ask any questions about what you want he just does his own thing and it is awful. Won't be going back here again. read more
