I appreciate her clear and professional communication even with last minute changes to my flight itinerary and appointments. The car is a clean and comfortable ride. More importantly, I feel safe on the road because of her skillful and attentive driving, especially when traffic gets hectic with erratic drivers. Looking forward to my next cab ride with Lucy's Taxi this upcoming week. Highly recommend!!

I have used Metro Taxi many times from New Haven to the suburbs to the shoreline…read more They have ferried me to and from work, the airport, the train station and even the hospital. They helped me after missed connections and got me home after I literally took a boat, a plane, a bus and a train. The drivers were always professional and courteous, if I was silent they left me be, if I wanted to talk they obliged me The one and only time I had a problem was when they didn't show because I was in the shower and missed the courtesy call, my fault for not paying attention. When my car was a no start they were here in minutes to get me to work and later tonight they will bring me home after I leave it for service. If not for them I'd be looking at a long, very cold walk.

Uber is the greatest way to travel in NYC!…read more Install the App everyone! I was in NYC this weekend. It was raining. No cabs so I called Uber. WOW! In a sec they told me how many cars in my area, the closest one, how many minutes away. Photo, Name, license plate, color & model of car! I used it three times. No money exchanged hands, everything is done with your account. As long as you have your phone your all set to go!!!! Uber drivers take you anywhere ( nothing is too far & return you later) including NJ, PA... No cab driver moaning about how many fares he'll lose. I am a New Yorker at heart. I know my way around the city very well. Unfortunately there is always construction going on, but I know where I'm going.

The cost was reasonable $36.79 for a 4:30AM pickup on a Thursday. I tipped my driver 25%. My second Uber booking was ultimately a FAILURE. This was my return trip from the airport to my home, two days later on Saturday evening. Landing at 9:30/PM, retrieving baggage and contacting Uber at 10:00/PM. The least expensive Uber was $136.00 and the prices went up according to vehicle. That is "quadruple" what I paid two days earlier. This fee is/was, nothing but a scam and a ripoff. Totally taking advantage of weary travelers who want to get home. I would not pay the fee. I did not book an Uber. I took a taxi for $77.00 which is also expensive - but I had little choice, I paid. I will find other alternatives in the future, like hiring a neighbor.
