I recently found out about this spot and had to check it out. I love that we now have a Colombian spot in FoCo so I had to support :) The food and service were fantastic! We weren't sure about what to order so we asked the staff to help with recommendations. She suggested an arepa rellena. We tried the chicken and the steak arepa rellena and shared a side of the plantains. The food was delicious and the arepas were a good size to enjoy as a meal on their own. The steak was flavorful and tender. The space is pretty small, but it seems that they're expanding to a bigger location next to their current location. This restaurant is amazing! I have been up in Fort Collins for work for over a month now and have been eating my way through the menu and haven't been disappointed a single time. I don't think you can order wrong here haha. My favorite thing that i have ordered is either the huevos pericos or sancocho (only served saturday or Sunday). If you go, be sure to get a buñuelo with your meal and for dessert do not miss out on the tres leches or guava cheese empanada....soooo good..you will be so glad you ordered. They've also got a great juice and Colombian beer selection. It's kinda hard to not buy everything when i go in there because everything is so good The staff is also incredibly friendly, i have met several of them at this point from going so often and everyone is very welcoming and nice. Even when it's super busy the service has been great and the food usually comes out fast. I am excited for them to expand though because the space is very small. Cool place, we found out it was family owned. A family member stopped by our table and his pride in the place was evident. Our server Christina was super friendly and attentive. We had empanadas and they were delicious. We tried the beef, the chicken, and the nacho, all 3 were terrific. We also had a breaded mozzarella cheese stick that was tasty, my wife enjoyed it more than I did. Only knock and it's a mild one, is that it did take quite a while to get our food. The restaurant was only half full so was not crazy busy, but the empanadas were worth the wait. Super golden crispy on the outside, (hence the "Yellow Crunch" name?) delicious filling on the inside and some really nice dipping sauces. Looking forward to going back to try more dishes. My husband and I were excited to try this restaurant after hearing great things. The experience started strong -- we were seated quickly, and water arrived promptly. Unfortunately, that was also the last human interaction we had for the next 30 minutes. At some point, we began to wonder if we had accidentally signed up for an immersive dining experience called "Now You See Me, Now You Don't." The restaurant wasn't busy, we saw several servers, and yet we somehow achieved full invisibility status. After half an hour of admiring the décor, hydrating, and questioning whether we were part of a social experiment, we decided to leave. Even on our way out, we remained wonderfully unnoticed. On the bright side, the water was excellent and the table was comfortable. We just wish we'd had the opportunity to try the food. read more

I've been here a handful of times already during their soft opening and have been impressed with both the food and the service. It's located in a small shipping container at The Exchange with a small seating area (read: VERY small), and the quality is outstanding considering the space they're working with. I went in for the empanadas to start - the Medallo (GF), the Nacho and the Chicken (GF) empanada. While greasy, and DELICIOUSLY so, they are obviously freshly made to order, piping hot, and full of flavor. The spicy sauce/salsa they include has a massive kick of heat, and I'm officially obsessed and am hoping they offer to bottle this soon. There is some gluten cross-contamination worries since they have other options that aren't gluten-free. The woman working the register was friendly and outgoing, and up for answering any and all questions that the line of customers had. The Buñuelo (GF) is a deep-fried ball of cheese, corn starch and yuca flour. This is delicious on its own - crunchy outside, soft and pillowy inside, but I used the avocado sauce as a dip to enhance the flavor. I'll be heading back to try some of their full entree dishes, but likely will stick to take-out until summertime since the dining room fills up pretty quickly! read more

Was very disappointed about this place and won't be returning. I got the 1 Arepa with drink (maybe 6oz or less) $15. After I received my order I realized the price was not worth what I got. This is during great plates My order came out in about 10min - 15mins, was a bit cold and basically falling apart. The menu said toppings and I picked pickled onions and rice. I assumed the rice would be on the side and expected the onions inside, but everything was inside which made the tortilla fall apart. My sister got the same thing and hers was burnt and broken and falling apart. I was very surprised they would serve their food this way since they are a new restaurant. The only good thing I got was the bunuelo, it was crunchy and chewy which the kids loved. Unfortunately no images as I didn't think to capture how terrible they looked. read more
