I used to work for Yellow Cab. If you want a taxi on time to get to the airport or wherever then whatever you do DON'T CALL THIS COMPANY! Hotels no longer call Yellow Cab because they know how unreliable and unprofessional they are. The company had to cut the fare to the airport to try and buy back all the business they have lost from screwing their customers over and over again. Recently they stopped sending the closest cab to the customer. There could be a cab 100 yards from your house and they won't send it to you. They put the call out to all the drivers to bid on from their taxi computer. If the driver that gets your call is in Tempe and you live in North Phoenix and that means you're going to be late for your flight then that's just tough sh!t for you. Their object is to keep the drivers starving so they have to work 14 hours per day. A driver has to work at least 9 hours just to pay for the taxi lease & gas so 14 hour days at 7 days per week are the norm. The owner likes to exploit desperate foreigners. The fewer calls the driver gets then the longer they work so you just might get a driver that's half dead from sleep deprivation. Yellow Cab doesn't care if that's dangerous because they don't care about the drivers or the paying customers, only their government welfare contracts & airport concession monopoly. In a previous life the owner of the company (a slimy piece of filthy scheisen) was either a slave trader or exploiter of child labor. You will never meet a more revolting scumbag than Hossein Dibazzar. I wouldn't pull a hair to keep him from drowning. Yellow Cab makes the majority of their money from government contracts taking welfare recipients to and from the doctor. They pay their drivers about 25% of these fares and skim the rest. They regularly send multiple drivers for the same call because the drivers pay for the mistakes and the welfare customers don't have a choice but they get screwed all the time anyway. Cabs are always late picking them up and if they're 15 minutes late then the appointment gets cancelled and rescheduled. By the way, it's your tax dollars that are paying for these mismanaged welfare rides. A few years ago the company bribed the Sky Harbor stooges to get a monopoly on the airport taxi concession. They don't care about cash customers who want to get to the airport on time. Their phone operator sweatshop is manned by 7 or 8 people at most and they are drooling morons. A fellow driver me told a funny joke that's 100% true: if you're too stupid to dig ditches then you can always get a job as an operator at Yellow Cab. I now drive for UBER. Customer service is priority 1 for UBER. You need a ride then UBER will do everything possible to make sure you get a reliable driver on time and one that doesn't gibber unintelligible English while he's taking the long way and who doesn't smell like an Iranian cesspit. Hossein & Yellow Cab are filth. With any luck UBER will put them out of business very soon and Arizona will smell all the better for it. read more

We had a horrible experience today with a AAA yellow taxis driver. It all started when We chose a yellow cab at the air port . We were going to take Uber but decided on doing a cab instead. What big mistake!!!! Shah Munsin. ID 0006078 Cab 483 . While my husband was giving him the address Shah asked how to get to the house. My husband was telling him the way. I said I'd like to go down 48th st - the highway will be packed - it would be an easier route. He turned to me and said - I wasn't talking to you - huh. Then he went on to say - you work for him - Lord - I went off. We were on the move - so couldn't get out of cab. I asked again to go down 48 street. Him : you don't tell me how to drive me how to drive. I've been doing this 22 yrs. he then pro ceded to go on the highway - after being asked to go a different route!!!! Him : this is faster. - it's going to be cheaper - which was total bullshit! He kept talking and my husband told him that he was being a jerk , that he knew he was being. jerk , that he had belittle me , his wife - he was being rude and to stop it. I told him I was going to report him - him - go ahead. I called AAA taxi and told them what was happening. Yeah - he was like ooooo. Then he starts trying to apologize - then saying we were lying - I will be filing charges with the police and going to the Yellow Taxi Company on Monday to follow up the complaint filed while we were being forced to go on the route he forced on us. read more

Waiting to turn left today across 7th street, there was 1 car in front of me and a steady stream of heavy traffic preventing him from turning. While I'm waiting for the guy in front of me to turn, the Yellow Cab behind me honks. The guy in front of me is finally able to turn, with absolutely no room for me to follow. I pull up to wait for an opening in the steady stream of cars. Next thing I know, the asshole in the Yellow cab behind me has gone around and cuts in front of me. Of course since traffic is heavy, he didn't have anywhere else to go, giving me plenty of time to get his number- Shout out to Yellow Cab driver #114: You're a dumbass and I refuse to endanger my own life for your gratification - by the way, me turning into traffic and causing an accident right in front of you will probably not get you to your destination any faster. Also, I am pissed off that I then had to wait even longer because now I had to wait for your sorry behind to turn. I guess if you're looking for the rudest and most aggressive cab drivers in the city, then Yellow Cab is the way to go, as long as you don't care about actually surviving the carride that is. Personally, I only gave them one star because ZERO STARS was not an option. Nor was negative stars which would actually have been more fitting. NEGATIVE FIVE STARS! read more

If I could give negative stars I would. I made a reservation the prior night (and spoke to the nastiest woman who sounded like she smoked 2 packs a day) for a flight out the following morning. The following morning as the time for pickup passed I called and the woman I spoke to stated they didn't have a driver and to call back in 10 to 15 minutes. I had a flight to catch. Rather than play games with this inept company, I contacted Uber and was picked up in 7 minutes for my flight. Thank goodness for Uber...wake up Yellow Cab, your service sucks big time. Received a call an hour or so later, while at the airport asking if I still needed a ride. You guys are a joke. The only positive was my driver to the hotel the prior night. His name was Abraham and he was awesome. Abraham, you need to get a job with Uber, you would be great. I also had a voucher from American Airlines and will be contacting them to let them know how poor your service was. read more

Trip date 7/18/2017 "Five star" review today's ride was grand, I was slightly disappointed it was so short. Operator Nick of 1075 was clean polite courteous, has great taste in music and a firm hand shake. The ride was enjoyable. It felt as if family had driven me not an ashtray. Trip date: 7/10/2017 "One star" review Not the first time I had to wait for one of their ashtray on wheels. I take a taxi for medical reasons. And I have to say today was the worst yet. I am from New York and you knew better than touch anything in a taxi. While riding in this ashtray you may want to wear a Level B Chemical suit to limit your exposure and risk of contamination you bring home. The taxis windows were so fogged from smoke it provided UV protection from the sun. I still smell like I rolled around in an ashtray an hour later. I am also having shortness of breath. Avoid taxi 1005. read more

They seem to be working hard to earn their 1-star ratings. Had a confirmed online appointment, called dispatch 2 minutes after they were scheduled to arrive and was told the trip had been marked completed. Of course they could come get me in 45 minutes to an hour - well after I needed to arrive at my destination. So I used a different service and barely made it. Not the end of the story because I was issued an invoice from Yellow Cab: Driver INOCENCIO FERRER Driver # 115720 Vehicle # 701 Vehicle 2009 Toyota Prius Vehicle Licence (no they can't spell either) Plate JTDKN3DU3A0086110 Distance 8.7km/5.429539798mi They charged me 80 cents to not show up. You have been warned do not use them if you need to get somewhere. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE, especially during early morning hours (I guess that's when all the Crack- Head drivers and dispatchers work). Case-In-Point: Mother in Law needed to be at Hospital at 05:30. She scheduled Cab the nite before (10SEP) to pick her up at 7566 W. Luke, G'Dale. No pickup 1/2 hour after scheduled time. She called Yellow Cab & "supervisor" Lisa remarked "Oh, we thought you were ACCESS (AZ Welfare). So-Sorry GENIUS, retired Federal Employee & retired Military (we pay our OWN way). SINCE WHEN does a half- wit dispatcher take it upon herself to decide the level of service for ANYONE??? Where's the REAL supervision??? THIS COMPANY SUCKS. Ah! Diversity at its finest! read more

I didn't even have to call this shit company to leave a review. Their drivers are fucking worthless trash. Airport Supervisor #1212 tried to cut me off repeatedly this morning since she clearly didn't understand how traffic flows. Proceeded to follow me honking, giving me the finger. Well I gave her the finger back and decided to call 480-888-8888. They don't give a shit that their drivers are creating dangerous situations for the rest of the people on the roads. Do not call this company. They're probably all fucking high on methamphetamine. Trash bags. CALL UBER read more

On 7/18/2012 your cab # 469 entered our community and refused to follow the posted speed limit and when he was approached and asked to slow down and follow the posted speed limit he was anything but sorry. He placed his passenger(s), company and all the residents of the community in danger with his refusal to abide by the community's rules and follow the posted speed limit. Next time will will refuse the Yellow Cab access to the private property of this community and the residents will be asked, in the interest of safety and security, to call another cab company. read more

Zero stars? These people SUCK! Cab drivers in phoenix are the worst in the country to begin with. However, yellow cab should be avoided at all costs. Tonight I called 7 times, spoke with a supervisor, and still had to wait 2 hours before giving up on a driver ever showing up at my house. They claimed they called each time, and also claimed they knocked on the door. WRONG. Avoid at all costs. Almost better to get a DUI than deal with these idiots. . read more

Will never use this cab ever again. He charged my mom $21 to take her 5 miles. Then dared to ask for a tip. And she got her clothes filthy in the car. The man on the way home has to loose customers cause of his bs. The driver on the way back charged $9. Called the company and the woman didn't give a dang. So to all this cab company is crap. I hope karma hits them in the wallet. ripping off old people. Shame on you. Mesa riders watch out. read more

AAA yellow cab is clueless. I set up a time to be picked up and they made me miss my flight because they only dispatched 1 taxi to pick me up when the Mesa airport was 5 minute from my house and I had to wait on phone over 25 minute to get them to dispatch a taxi that would pick me up. I missed my flight home to WA state and now I have to arrive home 5 hours later while kids are already asleep. I wouldn't recommend to anyone.... read more

PHOENIX. Yellow is the color of pee and cowards. Some of the drivers smell like pee or they haven't showered in a week or longer. Worst of all they call riders and ask how they are paying. If it's through insurance, they cancel the ride without telling the rider. A rider who is trying to make a medical appointment on time is left without a ride and unable to make their urgent medical appointment. Deplorable. read more

Worst experience ever! Been waiting at the store for over 2 hours with groceries. No pick up. Called back and they claimed a driver came by.
