Our driver greeted us with a smile, and the car was spotless - no dirty seats or mysterious odors, just crisp cleanliness. Yes, fares lean toward the pricier side, but after a long flight, the stress-free experience (no Uber surge pricing drama, no circling for parking) felt worth every penny. For reliable service that makes you feel like a VIP without the pretension, Alameda Cab nails it.

On pickup, the driver was right on time (in fact a few minutes early and waiting). On pick up from the airport, they connected with us before the flight to confirm, monitored our flight, and were there to pick us up at the curb, - again RIGHT ON TIME. Cars are clean. Drivers are friendly. Highly recommend. Note: We used Alameda Cab years ago, for transport to both Oakland and San Francisco airport. We were very happy to still see them in business!

Although there…read moreis "cab" in the company name, Charity Cab is a private car service with 2 comfortable cars that Keith owns and operates. This was the second time we had used Keith; the first was an early morning trip to SJC. He's reliable, efficient, friendly and cost-competitive with other private car services. When, like us, you need to get to SFO or SJC reliably, and don't want to drive and park long-term, there's no better option I know of than Charity Cab. Ride share apps are hit and miss, and the last thing you want is to have to wait 45 minutes for a ride. And driving an hour, hunting for a space, and lugging a few large suitcases into and out of an airport parking shuttle that makes a dozen stops before your terminal is a drag. And the last thing you want to do after a long international flight is drive an hour to get home late at night. Keith will accept credit cards, but prefers cash if you have it. I highly recommend Charity Cab!

Great company, good service, fantastic drivers…read more Shout out to Ray, who I chartered more or less at the last minute for a birthday party I was throwing in late September, thanks for taking care of us! I booked our driver and a 6-seater Escalade for evening via Yelp so my friends and I could enjoy the party without needing to worry about getting home safely or needing to arrange multiple rides via Lyft/Uber. The booking was on very short notice and the coordinator, Priscilla, was very helpful in braking down their rates and vehicle inventory. Thanks Priscilla! Ray, our driver, was a consummate professional. Great service, pleasant to talk to, and did a fantastic job shuttling us around San Francisco on a Saturday night. I can only imagine the hoops he had to jump through to park that monster of a car while my friends and I were enjoying our night on the town. Ray drove us all around the city and the east bay over the course of our evening. He did well dealing with late night traffic and city driving; the ride was smooth and we didn't have any close calls or scares that I sometimes get with the odd rideshare driver. What I paid for the excellent service was actually a bit less than I was expecting. The terms of the booking stipulated extra fees for drop-offs or stops outside of the pickup/dropoff location. Given we had been all around San Francisco and traveled through the east bay to drop off one of our party, I was pleasantly surprised to see that one stop was waived from the final bill. Overall a great experience. I'll be reaching out out to Red Eye whenever I need a professional driver again.
