She informed us that we were seeing a different provider than we were scheduled to see. I let her know that that was not ideal for patient care. She left the room. Twenty minutes later, the PA stormed into the room, she was very aggressive. She raised her voiced at me and lectured me. She was dismissive and rude. She claimed the nurse was crying because I gave her feedback on the incorrect medical history. The PA kicked us out. We have been going to this practice for a long time and have had a great working relationship... this is the first time I have seen this staff... Very disappointing!

After my regular dermatologist retired I tried Dr. Urato and Framingham Dermatology. The Doctor did not provide the exam she left that to one of her staff. I was told that many spots needed to be biopsied. The same small freckles that had been there for years and no other office has been concerned about. Of course they told me not to worry they were nothing...but lets test them anyways. I am concerned that they are running these tests just for the insurance payments. They all came back benign. I left the office with the sinking feeling like I had been scammed.

What stood out to me is how thorough he was in the pre-procedure preparation and after care- including check ins every day with photos and texts. When I first met him he showed me the laser and how it worked and explained what to expect and what I could realistically expect the treatment to accomplish. When you're looking for someone to resurface your skin, it's not exactly the same as shopping for the cheapest hair dryer! It's your skin!! Would anyone agree to pay $650 for a derma visit if they knew in advance? No. they refused to stop the charges and that I signed a form on check in that allowed them to charge me when and whatever they want. Dishonest, dirty, unethical IMHO.
