We pretty much have a completely new house and it's incredible! As I said before, you can't find contractors who will work faster (while still doing a great job)! Our total project from after permit approval (not counting that time since the city took 2 months!) through final inspections was only 4 months! 1100 sqft to a little over 2000, adding a whole second storey, new kitchen, new almost everything! Previous review has more details but I think the picture I uploaded speaks for itself!

My husband and I bought a house in Glendale, CA due to our finances we were only able to buy a house that needed lots of renovations. There are a lot of construction companies out there and ohhh boyyyy was it hard to find a decent company whom we could trust. After many phone calls and appointments with different companies, no one was able to satisfy our needs, until I've contacted Real Construction. After my appointment with Asi I was very pleased with his work and professionalism. Asi provided us sketches and photos of our home, and didn't rush through appointment with us, explained every details to us, answered all of our questions. They also provide us with a clear vision of our home upon completion of the project. I was amazed by his and the companies friendly, organized and dedicated staff to their customers. When Asi and his team started their project on our home they were not interfering with our daily, busy lives. They were very responsible and ethical in their work. The team was considered of our feelings, opinions and suggestions thorough out the whole time. Also the amazing part about this whole experience is that Asi and the Real Construction team was able to complete the project earlier then anticipated, which made me reallyyyyy happy. At the end they have exceeded all of my expectations. My beautiful kitchen and master bathroom looks breath taking, our now newly raised ceiling is magical. You can tell right away that my kitchen, master bathroom and raised ceilings were done with care and true professionals. I will be definitely coming back to Real Construction for my future needs in renovating my house. Thank you Asi for you amazing work, thank you making my house look and feel like true home. You and your team are amazing and your dedication to you customers is irreplaceable. I will be recommending you and your team to all my friends and family.

We hired Milben Construction for a residential remodel after receiving a competitive quote and a…read moreprofessional initial presentation. The original scope included a kitchen remodel with a layout change, one bathroom, and flooring. Based on early progress, we executed additional written change orders expanding the project to multiple bathrooms and most of the house. After the final change order was signed, progress slowed significantly. There were often only one or two workers on site, limited supervision, and long periods with minimal activity. Payment requests were made in amounts and at times that did not align with the agreed schedule, and supporting documentation was delayed when requested. As we raised concerns about progress and completion dates, communication became increasingly difficult. In multiple interactions, we experienced the contractor raised his voice, became confrontational, and responded in a hostile manner when timelines or documentation were discussed, making coordination and resolution challenging. By the contractual completion date, we had paid the contractor in full, including a substantial amount beyond the original contract amount, yet the project remained substantially incomplete (approximately 60% completed). Only one of four bathrooms was finished, the kitchen was missing most cabinets well past its scheduled completion date, several bathrooms lacked basic fixtures, brand-new appliances were damaged during installation, and a roof repair, ventitian plaster and other details included in the scope were not performed. After requesting a revised completion timeline, work ceased, and additional invoices were submitted for items that were not completed, not part of the contract, or already paid for. We later became involved in a dispute regarding a lien filed against the property, which was ultimately removed through the legal process. At the time of resolution, it was determined that funds were owed back to us. According to publicly available CSLB records reviewed after these events, the contractor's license is currently suspended during the time this review is written. This review reflects our direct experience. Homeowners are strongly advised to conduct thorough due diligence and verify license history before engaging this contractor.

Stan, the founder and owner of Milben Construction, was responsive, professional, thorough and did what he promised to do - on time and on budget. Thankfully we didn't require an entire new roof but that didn't stop Stan from giving me the kind of attention that most contractors reserve for their biggest clients. Regardless of the size of your job I strongly suggest you contact Stan first... I wasted time with several other roofers before meeting him and two minutes into our conversation I knew he was the real deal. I am 100% satisfied with his work and I am very, very critical of most contractors. Well done, Stan.

Here's the updated review:…read more 5 Stars -- Torossian Kitchen and Bath | Arbi and His Team Are the Real Deal After 35 years in the real estate business, I've worked with every type of contractor, vendor, and design professional you can imagine. I know within the first five minutes of a meeting whether someone truly understands what they're doing or whether they're just telling you what you want to hear. The moment I walked into Torossian Kitchen and Bath and met Arbi, I knew immediately I was exactly where I needed to be. My business partner and I are currently completing a multi-million dollar residential project that has been three-plus years in the making. A project of this scale and timeline comes with its share of disagreements, and one of the biggest between my partner and me was the kitchen layout. I had a very specific vision -- an open concept galley kitchen with an island as the centerpiece. The challenge was incorporating a product called the Invisacook Invisible Induction Cooktop, which mounts underneath the countertop surface, essentially turning the entire island into usable workspace rather than dedicating a portion of it to a traditional cooktop. My partner wasn't familiar with the concept and was pushing for a conventional PITT gas cooktop. I needed someone who could not only understand my vision, but help bring it to life and ultimately help sell it to my partner. Finding an authorized Invisacook dealer was no easy task. I reached out to every vendor I've built relationships with over the years -- nobody carried it. I went directly to Invisacook and was given two authorized showrooms. One of them was Torossian Kitchen and Bath, and I am genuinely grateful it was. Arbi didn't just listen -- he got it. He was patient, thorough, and never once made me feel rushed. Over the course of several weeks, I was in and out of his showroom as we worked through material samples for the full kitchen. Then Arbi did something that separated him from everyone else I've worked with -- he proactively suggested reimagining the adjacent laundry room and powder room, tying them together with the same finishes as the kitchen for a cohesive, elevated result. That kind of thinking isn't common. That's someone who genuinely cares about the outcome. And that care extended well beyond the showroom. I had another challenge with my business partner -- Torossian Kitchen and Bath is located in LA, and our project is in San Francisco. The distance alone was enough for my partner to have reservations. Arbi looked us both in the eye and gave us his word that he and his team would personally schedule and manage all deliveries and installation. He has kept that promise every step of the way. When the day came to bring my client into the showroom, Arbi showed up in a way that honestly impressed even me. He didn't just put together one vision board -- he prepared three complete color ways of material samples so my client had options and could truly engage in the process. He walked through the kitchen layout with clarity and confidence, addressed potential construction issues before they were even raised, explained which grade materials were appropriate for a project of this caliber and why, and presented solutions alongside every possible challenge. My client left that meeting not just satisfied -- they were impressed. And then came the hiccups. Because on any project of this size, there will be hiccups. Arbi worked through every single one of them without complaint. He was available to me around the clock -- and I mean that literally -- whenever I needed him. And when our general contractor failed to follow Arbi's specifications -- not once, but several times -- Arbi didn't point fingers or walk away. He sent his team up to San Francisco to make the necessary adjustments and get things right. That level of accountability and follow-through is something I rarely see, even from local vendors. Thanks to Arbi and the team at Torossian Kitchen and Bath, my client's confidence in me was fully restored. In this business, that's not a small thing. That's your reputation. Project is almost completed. Looking forward to the end of this long journey. I can not thank Arbi and his team enough. If you're a developer, a designer, a homeowner, or anyone in between -- and you want someone who will treat your project like it's their own -- call Arbi. You won't regret it.

We were looking for a contractor for our Encino home who would take the time to explain things without making us feel like we should already know the answers. Beth and Erica were patient with us from the beginning. Erica created renderings for us at no additional cost so we could really visualize how everything would look before making decisions. They also had an amazing in-house designer who helped us with some of the major decisions. Having that support made the process feel much less overwhelming. They helped us think beyond how something looked in a picture and consider how we would actually use it. We spent time discussing storage, outlet locations, and how the layout would work for our everyday routines. We appreciated having someone help us think through those details before the work was done. We also appreciated being able to talk through things as the project progressed. When we weren't sure about a decision, we felt comfortable bringing it up. We're enjoying the finished space so much. Girl Flip Construction made an unfamiliar process feel much more manageable, and we're so happy we chose them for our remodel.
