Installer showed up today and shares he doesn't have that model but can install another model and representative last night is not knowledgeable and made a mistake. I was upset and refused service. Supervisor calls and offers to install a lower quality unit for $895, original price communicated by representative on the phone was $555 or the unit I initially requested for $1,200 (but he would take $100 off). Im a senior and feel like they were trying to scam me. A company should honor their employees confirmations.......I don't care if they are new, not knowledgeable or "she doesn't know" as supervisor said to me today over the phone. If you have an employee represent you to the customer then you honor it. Don't get scammed too

We researched 4 different contractors sourced through Home Advisors and ultimately settled on A-List. We ultimately went with them based on their professionalism, their detailed estimate, a weekly schedule, and their thoughtful POV on the changes we were considering. Once the job kicked off, David was our project manager and we also dealt with Niv on occasion. David was exceptional in his communication and throughout the nearly 4-month project he always made himself available for any questions and concerns including going with us to pick out materials. When issues did arise (which they always do), David was quick to address them to our satisfaction. What we really appreciated was that while we had a good sense of what we wanted to do with the kitchen and the master bathroom, A-List brought in a designer that worked closely with us to visualize a full rendering of a final product that went a long way towards helping my wife and I make sure we were getting what we wanted and everyone was on the same page. While the completion date was slightly delayed from the original communication, Ben stepped in immediately made it right which we were grateful for since we were still in the middle of COVID. There were minimal surprises during the job itself and ultimately the whole project came in on the budget they originally quoted us (outside of some minor changes we requested). Now that we moved in and have had some time to experience our new home, my wife and I absolutely love the professional and competent work that A-List did. Ever since I moved in , I had wanted to re-do the bathroom and didn't have the money for it. So after hearing about some work that another unit in the building had and the good experience that they had with their contractors I decided to get an estimate and I was glad that I did. It was very reasonably priced and I am very happy with the results, both the appearance and the function. They organized everything with the city inspections and submitted needed material to the HOA for approval. They helped me pick out tiles in the style that I liked. Obviously every project will have different tastes of the owner, but they were quick to understand what I was looking for and to recommend things that fit my style. Throughout the project, they kept me informed of the next steps. Even in the beginning when they were doing the estimate, they provided me clear information. Additionally, they followed through with what they told me they were going to do in the time frame that they told me. I didn't have to chase them down for things, which is always a great thing when dealing with a contractor. They had a project manager, Shon, and a manager that was onsite to let the workers know what they had to do that day, Niv. They let me know daily what was going to happen the next day. All of the workers took care to wear masks everyday and to protect the flooring of the unit as they were working. When they left, they would ask if everything was ok and clean from the bathroom to the door. Since other units in building could tell that I was having work done, they asked for a recommendation and I gladly told them that I would use them again if I had more work to be done. Absolutely horrible! They measured my unit nearly 2 weeks before installation. The day of…read moreinstallation they began by pulling up my old carpet. The concrete is now fully exposed. They then went to the van, pulled out the new carpet and rolled the new carpet out in the parking lot on the blk ground to cut the carpet while stepping on it leaving blk marks. The owner Antonio got mad at me for being upset rolled up the carpet and attempted to leave. I don't wear shoes in my unit let alone roll my carpet on the parking lot ground. I went in the rec room and moved all of the furniture to allow enough room to cut the carpet. Why didn't they do this from the beginning or why didn't they cut the carpet at the warehouse? What was the purpose of measuring ahead of time? After rolling the carpet out in the rec room Antonio got mad again that I wasn't happy so again he attempted to roll up the carpet and leave. Please remember I now have exposed concrete in my unit. I'm a woman, I had to have my male cousin go to the rec room and work with them (Antonio & his helper). Once a man stepped in respect was given and the carpet was laid. They left my surrounding flooring disgustingly dirty! Dirt, concrete pieces, etc. They charged the bldg over 2k to install the cheapest lowest grade commercial carpet you can find. They only changed the carpet in the living room not the remaining 2 bedrooms. They also did not match the new carpet to the old carpet. It was a totally horrible experience from beginning to end. They were suppose to arrive at 9am and arrived around 10am. The store is literally 2 miles away. Horrible service by a horrible owner! I would give them zero stars but I had to pick at least 1 to make the review. Horrible! Absolutely horrible!

Months later during December's heavy rainfall, we had a problem with a leaking corner of the house.
