I came in a week ago and booked our appointments! Upon entering, we were greeted and checked in at the front desk, and offered coffee and water while we waited on the couch for our stylists. She even gave me a nice scalp massage while washing. It felt very nice! Soon, my mom's stylist, Chloe, met with her as well. They ignored my reference picture, which was annoying, but I could have lived with it. They gave me short little wispy bangs, when I asked for curtain bangs, and I would have pinned them to the side and kept on going. What makes this the worst salon experience I've ever had is that they cut one half of my head at least half an inch shorter than the right. It is noticeably crooked, in addition to being way shorter than I requested overall, making it impossible for me to even put it up until it grows out. If you reach out to get assistance, you'll be a priority in 72 hours. Until then, they're super duper sorry that you're sad, but that sorry doesn't translate into any actual concrete assistance. 74 hours later...I contacted customer service again. I had to simultaneously chat with two agents and speak to one on the phone (in addition to at least two agents abandoning the chat) before I could speak to a supervisor who explained that I was such a priority, and she understood my concerns, but they couldn't do anything for me because the store wasn't responding to the concerns that had been brought to them. I should have known when I walked in and saw 7000 employees, all hanging out and chatting and not a single one to help a customer that this was not the place to go. I spend so much money on their website, and I guess I'll be switching to Sephora because Ulta could not care less about their customers. They aren't even making a financially sound decision in refusing to speak to me because my haircut cost $47, but I spend (without including the salon) close to $2500 at Ulta each year. So, that means that not only is the customer service bad, but their understanding of how math works sucks too.

I feel it would be an understatement to just say that Tony exceeds my expectations every time. Guys, idk about all of you but I was burned out and honestly scared to trust a new hairdresser after a couple bad experiences elsewhere. I moved here in 2017 and had been looking for the right hairdresser when I found Tony in 2021. After seeing another guy who gave me a "wet ponytail" haircut (don't even ask), I made my way into Tony's chair. I'll never visit another salon! If I ever move, I'll be making trips back here for my hair! My hair has never looked better, but not only that- it is so much healthier, softer, and stronger than it's been in years! I could not be happier! I can honestly say that for the first time in my life, I am getting haircuts that make me feel more confident and genuinely compliment the shape of my face. At my last appointment, Tony performed a thermal reconditioning (Japanese hair straightening) on my hair and can I just say that it very well might be the best money I've ever spent? Never thought I would say this about a hair treatment but it is seriously LIFE CHANGING! Please, please do yourself a favor and go see Tony!

We knew this event would be full of photo opportunities that would serve as profile picks and framed photos for years to come, so we wanted to look our best. The location is super cute with multiple stations and stylist on hand to serve customers. Was a little surprised they didn't book my friend and I with two stylist stationed near each other (as we made appointment together) so we could visit during our appointment), but not a huge deal. Kind of made the reveal after a surprise. This was my first ever blow out and I was so pleased with the result. I'm bummed I can't remember my stylist name, as she did a fantastic job and deserves a shout out. I don't do things with my hair often, so she was great in helping me decide what I'd like and what was possible with my shorter hair. Experience started with good shampoo treatment and then time to blow dry and curl. My stylist was very thorough, even curling my odd shorter hair section I was starting to grow out from a previous undercut. The experience was very relaxing. It just always feels good with someone else messes with your hair. Hard to take photos during the process, but again as someone who is mostly an "air dry and go" person, it was fun having all these different products in my hair. My hair is so straight naturally, so I loved seeing it with so many beautiful curls at the end result. Whatever products she used was on point as my hair stayed curly all night and into the next day. Loved how my hair looked in all my photos throughout the day and got many compliments from friends and family when they saw it in photos. I feel I definitely got my bang for my buck. Sadly my friend had a very different experience. She struggled to communicate her vision to her stylist. Her hair also fell very quickly after the appointment as it seemed her stylist didn't have her tools on and already nice and hot before she began to style. I am not going to alter my review as this was not my direct experience, but I was very bummed for her that she didn't have the same positive experience I did. I also think the front desk staff was new or something as they tried to charge my friend for both of our blow outs, even though I already just paid for mine as I finished first. Also, didn't really know the products and where to find back stock when we inquired about an item that was sold out on the shelf. Just things to potentially think about and improve for the future. While probably unlikely I will return here as I I've out of town, I absolutely see the value in getting a blow out from time to time
