I wish I could remember the name of my stylist, but she called my name and went to washing my hair quickly. She was very personable and talked to me along the way which is great. She asked what style I wanted and I never know the name, so I told her waves and made a gesture with my hands of how I want it to look and she knew right away. When I tell you that this blowout lasted me a good 4 days and probably could have went a bit more had I not decided to work out and sweat in that 4th day! I have never had the waves last that long. They usually fall out and I don't know if that's my hair or the products being used, but it was fantastic. Just rang a big comb through it each day and it was just as fabulous as the first day!

I specifically asked for tight curls and was given loose curls instead. The stylist didn't even show me the finished style or ask if I was satisfied before moving on, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. I was also told I would be charged extra for detangling -- which I understand -- but if I'm paying more, I expect the service to be completed properly and with attention to detail. Overall, the customer service and styling quality were lacking. I've had much better experiences at other Drybar locations, so I'll be going elsewhere moving forward. This location really needs more skilled stylists and stronger customer service standards.

They use great products, tools and I love his technique. One major difference I see in the shop is the increased diverse talent and vibrancy of the staff. I appreciate that in a hair salon. Bookings are online or phone call, parking spots are across at Einstein's (I learned the hard way today and parked in the big lot next to Sprint and had to pay an event fare) and Starbucks is up the block if you need a coffee/tea although the staff here will gladly pour you a mimosa.

He's super friendly and is so great at conversation without being overwhelming. I've vented about a bunch of random problems and he's so insightful about everything. I really enjoy those conversations. Graham has an intern named Juniper who is also amazing. She'll typically be the one to blow out my hair after highlights. She is so sweet and fun to talk to. And you can tell that she really cares about doing a good job. And she does do a good job. And shoutout to Rob at the Midtown location for giving me bangs. I don't think I would love them so much if he weren't the one who cut them. They have free bangs trimmings here, so whenever I get my highlights done, I ask Rob to trim my bangs, and he does. He's very thoughtful about cutting hair. Especially with bangs. He will ask for pictures, and if you can't find any, he will pull up his own pictures on his iPad to help you figure out what you want. He also is an artistic genius and will recommend things that work with your facial structure better. I thought I wanted curtain bangs but he recommended a more straight cut of bangs, and I am so thankful he did. If you want a good haircut that makes you look like you can afford the best of the best (aka Rob), you need to see Rob. Even when my hair isn't blow dried or straightened or whatever, it looks amazing when I wake up and go to sleep. He gave me layers once and, if you'll believe it, it changed my social life for the better. Also he's very good at getting people to talk about their lives. Inquisitive and talented. If you have your own strong preferences and he recommends otherwise, you can still tell him what you prefer and he'll happily do it, but he knows so much about what looks good on different people, so I'd definitely listen to him. He's done my little teenage brothers' hair before and they appreciate him a lot too, which says a lot because they're picky teenage boys.
