This review is long overdue, but better late than never, right?…read more We hired Manoli Builders to remodel our kitchen (among other projects) and are so happy with the results. It wasn't easy living without a kitchen for a couple of weeks as it was an older kitchen and required a complete gut job, but the end result was definitely worth it! The main workers were Joe and DJ, and they were hard working, friendly and respectful (especially to my mom). Elmar, the manager, listened to our concerns regarding my elderly mom and customized the island to be lower than usual as I didn't want my mom sitting on a high bar stool during meal times. They also lowered the height of the microwave above the stove so that my mom could reach it easily. There is a lot more storage and counter space compared to the old kitchen. Joe even matched the textured ceiling in the living room and kitchen which needed repairing. Elmar was always available to address any concerns or questions. I actually find myself spending more time in the kitchen and cooking more. If you're in need of a contractor, you should definitely give Manoli Builders a call.

After many years of discussion, my mom finally agreed to live with us! The best solution was to…read morebuild an ADU so she could have a space she felt comfortable in and could call home. It was quite a big change for her after living independently, so we took our time researching options and companies. My mom wanted a design-build company that would take care of the entire project from start to finish. We met with three other design-build companies and felt most comfortable with Atlas. Their estimate was also fair and reasonable. Josh, our project coordinator, was down to earth, patient, a good listener, and easy to work with. He made my mom feel at ease and clearly cared about what was important to her. Josh was a constant presence from the beginning and throughout the design phase. We met with Jeremy and Josh weekly to design the layout and specifications of the ADU. We had difficulty making some decisions and changed our minds on a few things. They were incredibly patient and kind toward us, doing their best to accommodate exactly what my mom wanted. We continued meeting weekly with them until we were completely happy with the design plans. After that, they took care of submitting the plans for permitting. Once permitting was approved--less than a year later--we met at our home with Josh, Bruce (the owner), and Shay and Saul. Bruce came to meet us personally to share the company's heart, commitment, and dedication to its customers. Shay was our project manager, and we worked with her for the entire duration of the build. Shay was extremely responsive, patient, accommodating, and always available. We can be very detail-oriented and nit-picky, but she took it all in stride. She truly went above and beyond every step of the way to make sure we were happy with everything and completely satisfied with the end product. Even when unexpected things came up or things didn't go exactly as planned, Shay always made it right. The build took about nine months, which was quicker than the permitting. All the workers and subcontractors were great to work with. They were respectful, on time, and hardworking. Unfortunately, I can't remember everyone's names, but I specifically want to give a shout-out to Gabe, Randy, Shane, and Aaron; and to the subcontractors, Joel (electrician) and Marlon (AC). Bethany, our selections coordinator, was also wonderful--knowledgeable, helpful, and willing to meet with us multiple times. She even came with us to different vendors to help us select every single item in the ADU. Her eye for design was extremely helpful. She also put together a packet of all the products we selected with their warranties and rebates! We can't thank Atlas enough for their professionalism and trustworthiness. Every member of the team worked with the same ethic and care. My mom is extremely happy and settled in her new home. It has everything she asked for, with quality materials and craftsmanship. Atlas was amazingly able to design an ADU with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a laundry room, living room, and kitchen--all within 800 square feet! Even after our project was done, we have contacted Shay a few times, and she is still incredibly helpful and responsive. We are truly grateful for Josh, Shay, and the entire Atlas 'Ohana and team who made us feel more like family than customers. We would not hesitate to recommend Atlas for your next construction project. They made a very daunting, overwhelming project as simple and easy as it could be, especially for people with no background knowledge in construction. Thank you so much for everything!!!

If you need a construction / renovation company, use OCG Building Supply!…read more Over the past few years we have been a repeat client of OCG Building Supply and wanted to share my positive experience. I have attached photos of each project with more details below. We are and have been extremely satisfied with the quality of the cabinets and work. The cabinets are thick pieces of wood and have lasted for over 6 plus years now. FYI, their showroom is filled with options and ideas for various types of projects. As you will read from my review l, we have used OCG Building Supply for so many various types of projects. So many options to choose from and the staff is so FRIENDLY and HELPFUL. Project 1: We did a full kitchen remodel on our home. The process with OCG was a breeze. OCG helped us bring our vision to life through a very detailed planning process. My wife and I really loved our customizable our cabinets and counters could be. OCG completed a fully kitchen demo, complete kitchen install to include counters and tile work. Each day the workers cleaned up and made sure we were updated with the next days plans. When we ended up selling this home, not only did the kitchen become to focus during the open houses, but this OCG kitchen added so much more value to our home. Project 2: This project included brand new flooring for our whole home. All we can say is WOW. Once again the quality and work exceeded our expectations. Our flooring is rugged and comfortable. We have four dogs and we have had ZERO issues with scratching, chipping, shifting, fading, etc. everyone we have people over, they always comment about our flooring. OCG even added wood under the steps and painted them white to make them even pop more. Love it! Project 3: This was one of our biggest projects with OCG. Not only did we convert a studio area but we also had OCG cut a hole in a bedroom wall and hang a barn door to add a bedroom. OCG sealed up our existing bedroom door and even built a closet system inside the bedroom. You could see in the before and after in the side-by-side photo. Everything from the flooring, wall take down, wall building, barn door, closet, and full kitchen with waterfall counter is AMAZING! OCG has helped our Ohana move into a BEAUTIFUL 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, with a full kitchen. We had options for cabinet color and decided to go with a very nice grey color. Project 4: This is our most recent project. We added some upper cabinets to our laundry room. Andre was our designer and he really focused on how we can maximize storage space while matching our existing kitchen cabinets. Jerry showed up prior to his worker Jianyi Lin to do a walk-through. Once the team arrived, Jerry was assisting his worker to install the cabinets and help clean up. Jianyi was super professional, clean, and respectful. Ask for Jianyi for your next project! Way to lead by example Jerry! Final Thoughts: Owner of OCG is Jerry. From project 1 to project 4, Jerry has driven to each project to check on his team, answer any questions I may have had, and also reassured that each project will be and was completed with quality and care. During project 1, Jerry gave me his cell phone number and told me to reach out at any time. Jerry would reach out with updates and any thoughts he may have had for the project. Honestly, we have never got that sort of help or care from any other company. OCG has gone above and beyond any and all expectations. There will be a project 5, 6, 7 in the future. We are extremely satisfied OCG Building Supply customers and will continue to be in the future. I hope you enjoyed this review and I hope it has helped you in making your decision. By choosing OCG, you can't go wrong. You get extremely great value with exceptional products. Jerry and his team are exceptional. Mahalo OCG Team for everything you have done!! -Customer for life.

It's sad to give this review because I really wanted to like them. First their cabinet work is good…read moreand the value for the work done is also good. They tried to accommodate my travel which was also good. What fell apart is they did not provide many things I requested and installed a new garbage disposable that messed up my AC and dishwasher. Instead of listening to me and fixing the garbage disposal, they told me I needed a new dishwasher. They do not pay attention to details. The pull out for the garbage was never done and later installed cheap thing to pull out. No spice rack as promised and the floor patch was done where it did not go with the flow of the floors. They installed tiles without communicating they were the wrong colors. They moved our telecom wires when I specially asked them not to.. lots of stuff., It felt like they didn't care about what I wanted and that I should be grateful for what they did. It was not a good experience. They stopped returning my texts and basically walked away from the job. Do not pay them in full. If you use them, you need to have someone home at all time because there is no project manager and very bad communication efforts. The review rating is because they walked away and failed to fix the things as promised.

Although they don't have much reviews, I still decided to go out on a limb and trust them. I reached out to Jacky who then sent his sister, Stacy. to assist me since he was out of town. Communication: Stacy has been so responsive from start to finish. She works full-time and assists her brother and her dad. She answers all of my questions at all times. I'd text her as early as 7am and as late as 10pm. There were times I got hardware mixed up or asked if the workers could help us out by opening our dishwasher because we ran a load. Time: They always came and showed up. While we did not take off for work, I had to stop by a few times to drop off stuff or grab something from our home since we couldn't live there. They promised a certain time and they finished earlier and we were so happy. The oven we had purchased was faulty and had to be exchanged. They came to our house around 8pm to show us that it was actually faulty. My husband and I tried to pick the oven up from the ground to return it, but I'm a more petite size and couldn't. I called Stacy to ask if she was still nearby and if her father was able to help us load it into the car. They offered to turn back and help us load it down to the car! Pricing: We thought the price was fair and reasonable for the work they provided. Overall, I would highly recommend Yun Construction. I am hard to deal with and appreciate Stacy and her family and team for being so understanding and accommodating. My previous review I wrote about the countertops not being what I wanted.
