Ours was an original 70's kitchen so you can imagine how dated and broken-down it was. Kalani and his specialists really gave our sad kitchen a huge update. We had everything done. From taking out a side wall with electrical running through it to new cabinets, tile flooring, and all new kitchen/pantry/living room lighting. Surprise surprise, on day one during demo, they found mold. Thankfully, took care of that issue. Then came our outdated electrical lines. They changed the lines and brought it all I up to code. Isamu Construction renovated our kitchen literally from top to bottom. Timothy is the consummate professional, with the work ethic and integrity of a samurai, seriously! His goal is customer satisfaction and he achieves this with a high standard of workmanship while keeping the cost extremely reasonable. At one point he insisted on matching the kitchen flooring with the living and dining room floors. I thought it was unnecessary and costly but his sense of aesthetics prevailed and he managed to get hold of the original flooring company and bring it in from the mainland for a cost equivalent to what we paid years ago. Amazing! He and his team went above and beyond what was expected so we could have a kitchen to enjoy for many years to come. Additionally, when he says to call him if any issues arise after project completion, he means it. A few months after the renovation was completed, one of the handles on a cabinet came off--this was not due to the installation but rather a faulty handle. I emailed Timothy and he came a couple of days later to replace the handle and look over the other handles. He even noticed that one of the handles was slightly crooked, and replaced that one too! Our goal was to finish prior to the baby coming and they exceeded our expectations and finished early. What can normally be a very stressful time, our renovation was a positive experience with a lot less stress than I anticipated. Attention to detail and a sincere motivation to do things the right way is how I would describe Igor and Vitali from Top Level Construction. A lot of the time these days you will hire a contractor or someone to do work around your house and they will do the minimum to make it work and usually cut a lot of corners. Igor and Vitali truly care about the level of their work and building things to last so there won't be issues in the future. An example of Vitali and Igor going above and beyond is when we decided to put 'Ohi'a posts in at the kitchen Island and they had to cut the countertop and tile around the uneven surface. It took a bit longer but the final product looks amazing! They even joked that they could install irrigation to water the trees if we wanted.. Igor could be a team lead/foreman himself as he showed so much skill as the understudy to Vitali. Whenever a challenge arose (which always happens in construction) they would always have great budget-friendly solutions to move the project forward. As the PM, Oleh, helped sort through everything with us as well. If we have future work that needs to be done on our house we won't look anywhere else.
