I wish I could give this agency a 1/2 star. I Purchased 4 vouchers for plant night; all purchased through Groupon. Once I receive the vouchers I went into Yaymaker's website and I was charged $11 more for the kit. Altogether came up to $46/which is the original price anyways! OK! I went ahead and scheduled my activity; my friend's and i took some hours off from work to be on time. 40 minutes before the activity was supposed to begin, I received an email apology from Yaymaker reporting that the activity has been cancelled. I was sent directions on how to reschedule the activity but i want my money back. It has been two days now, I had reached out to Groupon, and Yaymaker and neither will refund me my money. The most frustrating thing is that neither Yaymaker or Groupon have a customer service call center. I have had to email Yaymaker and Groupon and neither will refund me my money. read more

I've done paint night six times over the past few years and had a great experience every time. Fun and relaxing. A few times I've purchased a groupon. Just follow the directions for redemption and read the fine print. Definitely recommend as a fun activity! read more

Brought my daughter out for a fun night at Dave and Busters. We were having a blast until one of the young instructors took it upon herself to reprimand my daughter about the use of a brush. Then she continued to complain to the other instructors in the front of the whole class. Completely embarrassed my daughter. This was after the instructor raised my daughters painting to show everyone how pretty it was. Contacted their Manager not once but twice and was ignored. Completely unprofessional. Very frustrated with this company. Booked a paint nite with my mom, but they oversold the painting and we were forced to reschedule. We rescheduled for a month a later and they cancelled our painting 1 week before the scheduled painting due to "unforeseen circumstances". I had Paint Nite organize a fundraiser for a small nonprofit. They were incredibly supportive as we set about selling tickets and planning the event. Adam from the office was highly communicative. And Ashley, our artist was nice and funny and kept us on track! Our team left from a fun night and wanted to do it again! read more

Super disappointed with this company and won't be going back. Went to an event to do a painting with my husband and stepdaughter. Ryan was the instructor. While there, they had a giveaway and I won a free paint nite voucher. This voucher had no expiration date on it. Tried to use it about 7 months later and was declined. When I contacted the company about it I never received a response. There are way too many great paint places in Phoenix to attend so if you want to get out and have a fun night with your friends try vino and canvas, or ArTherapy! read more

Had the opportunity to go to the paint nite this past Monday for the first time ever. It was SO MUCH FUN! The instructor was very well prepared and knowledgeable and just overall fun and entertaining. The time flew by! this company is ran so shady, if not enough by one is canceled, owner acted like she owned my establishment and was rude to my employees and she's the owner. She acts as if we are diamond inspecting rather then a paint experience at a bar setting. Rude, ran poorly, and some instructors are great and others not worth the time, guess who looks bad? the establishment and not paintnite... We have since found another company similar and very happy - do your research owners before booking with this company. read more

My daughter ought two Groupons for Paint NIte and gave them to me as a gift. It took a while to find an event that would work because most of their events are quite a distance away. A couple days after booking the event, I received an email saying it was canceled. I emailed Paint Nite and they said the event was NOT canceled. I forwarded the original email to them and they said they would check into it. A few days later I received another email from Pain Nite saying that yes, the event was canceled, but that they could not refund my Groupons. And. . . .because my Groupons were considered redeemed already because we had made a reservation, I would not be able to reserve through the website anymore. I would need to contact them directly and hope they remember that my groupons were not really used. Yeah, right. There are still no convenient events, so I contacted Groupon directly to get a refund. Groupon tiold me that they needed to work with my daughter since the groupons were bought on her account. My daughter contacted them and they still won't refund the money. They told her to call Paint NIte, and that Paint Nite needs to refund the money and Paint Nite refers us back to Groupon. I am stuck in a loop. My gf and I used the same company for In SD, Cali. We'd give that night a 5 out of 5. We recently completed one last night and was not that impressed. We arrived early as the email tells you to and go to find seats. The artist is sitting and eating food and turns to us and says no! no! no! 5 minutes. So we have to awkwardly wait outside the area until she was ready. It made no sense to me that people couldn't find there seats, order food and drinks and she walks around checking people in. Instead we have to wait, order 5 min before she starts promptly at 7 and have our food come during the painting time. Also she didn't stop to make sure everyone had enough paint half way through. The time in SD the artist made sure and would ask us. She would bring us the paint. Instead the lady told us to just grab it whenever. Lastly, check the location the paint nite is at. This one was a bar and didn't have a great vibe to be painting in. The last one we did was a much nicer sit down restaurant. read more

New comments: I want to note that paint nite did apologize, as you can see from their note below. I have increased the stars from 1 to 3 based on their finally making the situation right. They also did send me an e-mail cancelling the class for two, and providing me with a voucher code. I am glad they made this right, and want to acknowledge that. I continue to wish that they had better ways to contact them, other than e-mail being their primary mode of contact. I did find a phone number after a great deal of searching, and left them a voicemail. Initial post: Wish I could give no stars at all! Very Very poor customer service, or should I say no customer service at all. There is no phone number to be found if you need to call them. You are stuck with e-mail. I contacted them via e-mail info@paintnite.com per their website, more than 48 hours before my paint nite to cancel; as I have done in the past when my mother became very ill. They sent me an e-mail acknowledging my e-mail, and stating they will get back to me in 24 hours... but this time they did not. I had to cancel because my daughter's baby is being born early, and I am flying out to Sacramento and won't be able to attend. I never heard one word from this company. There is no number anywhere to be found to call them, so you are stuck with e-mail communication, which they clearly do not respond to. I have now lost out on the money I paid. It seems okay for them to reschedule events at their convenience, but when you have an issue, they simply do not help you out. read more
