    My daughter loved it!

My daughter, age 8 and I attended a class together on Mother's Day! It was a very small intimate class all women and moms. Jason, the instructor, was very nice and did a great job guiding us through all the steps and helping anyone who needed it along the way. I highly recommend his classes! The memories are priceless and having a masterpiece of your own to take home is a plus!!!

Too much fun in one day! Lauren & I enjoyed a great painting class. The top right is the original... How do ours compare?

Jason is a FANTASTIC instructor and made the 3 hours fly by. I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive to sit through 3 hours of painting (as I am NOT artistic), but I had a blast! I look forward to coming back again... and again....

Jason was a very easy going instructor who did not rush anyone even though we had a few stragglers in our class.

Every corner feels thoughtfully designed, from the colorful seating to the vintage decor and handmade pottery available for purchase. I ordered the iced chai, and it was perfectly balanced with great spice flavor without being overly sweet. We also tried the matcha, which was smooth, creamy, and beautifully layered. The drinks were made quickly and looked just as good as they tasted. Beyond the coffee, this is an amazing place to support local artists. They had handcrafted mugs, planters, pottery, ceramics, cross-stitch kits, and other gifts throughout the shop. The atmosphere is quiet enough to work, catch up with friends, or simply relax with a drink. There are plenty of tables, large windows with natural light, and comfortable seating throughout. The staff was friendly, and the entire café was clean and inviting. Parking was easy, and I appreciated how much personality the space has compared to a typical coffee chain. If you're looking for a local coffee shop in Phoenix with excellent coffee, matcha, chai, unique gifts, handmade pottery, and a cozy creative atmosphere, Pip Coffee + Clay is absolutely worth visiting. I'll definitely be back.

As a complete novice, I was totally lost. I tried multiple times on my own but no luck. I asked for help multiple times and got general advice. I was the ONLY one that couldn't make anything, yet the instructor didn't seem to either notice or to care. I eventually looked up my own video on how to do this and still wasn't able to. The instructor said she would be happy to help one on one, yet I was the was one who clearly needed help, she was and just made her own pottery. I feel demoralized and humiliated. I left this experience in tears.
