This year was my wife's 40th birthday and I really wanted to go all-out for the milestone. I quickly realized that what I had in mind was not going to be something I could pull off on my own. Event Genies recently helped us with a big school gala and they did a wonderful job. There are all sorts of complications that they handled without letting any of the attendees know about it - making the event feel smooth and easy. Alyssa had wonderful ideas about the design and layout of the event and sourced all sorts of unique and beautiful items for us to use for decor. It was a really lovely event - and a lot of the pressure that event planning entails was mitigated by having Event Genies there to manage the pressure and stress for us! Alyssa @ The Event Genies hired me (Olivia's Balloon Creations) to do the balloon decor for a Bat Mitzvah. I have worked with many event planners in my 25 years of business and usually get frustrated with their lack of timely response or simply "dropping the ball" or even just being "robotic". Alyssa was the opposite, she was quick to respond, very warm, involved and we were able to work together perfectly to get her clients party and decor needs on point. Alyssa was very well knowledged with her clients needs which speaks volumns, she also went above and beyond with decorating picture frames for her client that came out beatifully bedazzled, not to mention had that "personal touch". I also noticed that she had a few surprises up her sleeve for her client that honestly made me emotional when I saw her clients heartfelt reaction.
