This location and ambiance…read moreare perfect, making it a great spot for a girl's night, date night, birthday celebration , or just to vibe out on your own. You really don't need to come with anyone to have a good time here. Trust me. We booked a 3 p.m. session online, and it was a 10/10 experience. Our instructor, Dalton, was full of energy, super friendly, funny and explained everything perfectly, making the painting process enjoyable! He also played music throughout the class, and his playlist was a hit! It really set the mood and made the experience even more fun. One of the best parts? You can bring your own food, drinks, and even wine! They provide wine glasses, plates, and cups for convenience, and if you forget something to drink, they sell sodas in the back. Plus, there's a store directly across the street where you can purchase a bottle of wine if that's your thing. The class lasted a little over two hours, giving us plenty of time to enjoy and create. Parking on a Sunday was easy with plenty of street parking, but I can see it getting busier during peak hours. Overall, Pinot's Palette is more than just a painting class--it's a whole experience! Even if you think you can't paint or draw, trust me, you can. Just go for it!

We did a weekend evening class, had assigned seats with our group, and were able to BYO whatever we wanted to drink (and they provided the wine glasses!). The class was fun, and set to some fun music, and the instruction (while fast paced) still offered opportunities to ask questions and seek help. Would recommend!

What a fun concept to have a place for singing, dancing, while painting! Canvas & Grapes got it…read moreright and our group had a wonderful time. We booked the Paint & Sing on a Saturday 1:30-5 pm slot for $55/prn. It included music entertainment, painting experience, and karaoke. It's BYOB and you are welcome to bring snacks as well. Door opens at exactly 1:30 pm (it's locked prior to that) and upon entering, there's a check-in counter where you get your apron for painting and coat rack to hang your coats. Then you are directed to your table which it's already set up with paint supplies and a blank canvas. Very lively and hip vibe. Our painting instructor was wonderful and we were entertained the entire time. There's no bad seat in the room as they had a stage with camera where the instructor showed step by step on painting. There were TVs all around the room for each table to follow without issues. We take breaks throughout the session to allow paint to dry and time for dancing and singing. The time flew and we were promptly done by 4:30. Extra time remained for pictures and clean up. I highly recommended it for a girls gathering, birthday celebration, or just a fun thing to do. Everyone walked away happy and with a beautiful painting to show for.

I've had the extreme pleasure of having Evenings of Elegance plan and manage my day-of coordination…read morefor my wedding at the Loeb Central Park Boathouse in NYC in August 2013. Dharmi is an extremely detail oriented planner who was always there at all hours via text message, email and phone call away to answer any of my questions and to provide me with the attention and assurance I needed to ensure everything would run smoothly and care free on the day of my wedding. My wedding day was absolutely perfect in every way and I could not have asked for anything more. She was amazing during the rehearsal the day before to get everyone in line and she's awesome with kids and got them (ages 3 and 5) to listen and understand their roles as ring bearer and flower girl. I highly recommend her to in trust her to guide and manage one of the most important days of your life!!

Dealt with Evenings of Elegance in planning my wedding (for day-of coordination)…read more Wedding planners are usually hired in order to make the bride's life less stressful; however, Evenings of Elegance only made my life more stressful! Not a good listener, not very strong vendor relationships, and not very experienced. She was the only one of my vendors that I had any issues with, and she was also the only vendor that was hired exclusively to provide the service of being helpful to the bride! She was very sweet at first, and gave a nice pitch, but then when it came down to providing services to her client (me), she fell short. She didn't listen very well so vendor recs were off the mark; she kept trying to pitch me additional services, even when she wasn't doing what she was hired for well, and I hated feeling like she was just trying to squeeze more $ out of me; and she made it clear to me that my wedding and my business were not important to her (ie by not reaching out to my venue to learn about its layout, by not providing me a sample itinerary when i asked for it, by refusing to meet before my event to go over details, etc.). Compared to the services my other friends got from their planners, Evenings of Elegance seemed more concerned with their own image than my bridal experience. If you are looking for a wedding planner, there are a lot of them out there so I would suggest you keep looking - and don't get caught up by the hard sell (which is the mistake that I made). If you are at all detail oriented, have hopes of hosting a classy and upscale event, and/or are looking for a planner that will support you and make your life easier, I would recommend looking elsewhere. This planner cares more about marketing and sales than she does about following through and providing proper client service or doing the right thing for her clients. Pricing is seemingly low at first (before add'l fees are tacked on) - but I guess you get what you pay for.
