I chose this studio…read morebecause I wanted to try out pottery making first with a one day experience ( use the wheel with their expert guidance, create a finished piece and paint the piece). I loved my process during the one day wheel experience and decided to take their 4 week wheel classes. I mostly learned from their staff Danielle and she was an excellent teacher! One day wheel experience - $48 per person - perfect friend hangout or date activity! - make 1 piece on the wheel with expert staff guidance with options to make 1 more piece on your own - paint your piece with engobes paint and pick up your piece after a few weeks! 4 week classes - $200 total- such a good deal! Weekly 1 hr classes that includes all supplies, glazes and firing - make atleast 2 pieces depending on how your skills progress throughout the classes. I made 6 pieces but only took home 4! - I was a beginner so Danielle focused on throwing cylinders. However I wish there could be more variety in throwing different shapes- like a bowl - I learned so much from each class from wedging clay, centering, making even walls, trimming, making and attaching handles I loved my experience here and I'll be back to utilize their studio space for wheel throwing as well as glaze some of their premade pieces

We were there for about two hours and it was plenty of time to make our pottery and paint. I purchased the Groupon tickets for $25 then went to the Paint nite website to select the date/painting I wanted to do. In the spirit of Halloween, I selected pumpkins!!We arrived about an hour early to eat dinner first ( not required to participate, but we wanted to.) After dinner we walked to the back dinning room where the session was being held. This area was closed off to nonparticipating customers so it felt more like a closed group activity, and less like an open spectators' sport. Lol once we signed in we ordered some wine a started painting. The instructor was very good. She had a great personality. She also broke down each step and explained it to us so that we could clearly follow. As you paint your little heart out there's a mix of upbeat music playing throughout the session. We really had a great time! I'd highly recommend this experience if you're looking to spruce up your social activities. You could even go solo and you'll still have a great time. I'll definitely be going back!

A local cultural arts center introduces active civilian's not only to the local scout or brownie bake sales, but a wonderful on going venue to express and experience a wide variety of typical and not so typical events. We've been to; concerts both in the auditorium and the outside stage, dance recitals, tumbling, expo's, network shops, food shows, plays and fairs. Of course EB day takes place here along of course with the 4th of July sensational fire works display which left our entire group covered in ash, lol ( perhaps they should check wind direction and crowd proximity next year ). The building is fairly modern and the staff always friendly. Tons of parking both on the grounds or through the Heavenly Farms fields. Unfortunately EB being one of the largest commuter towns in central NJ doesn't have a true Mayberry type Main street and really no place to collaborate with fellow local brethren. So come on out and meet your friends, neighbors, officials and be apart of the community, you owe it to yourself and your family.

Regardless, we decided to forge ahead with our visit! Primed with filling and inexpensive falafel, our first surprise was the really cool mosaic at the entrance. Our second surprise was the free admission. Free! We were off to a good start! We got the map from the delightful person behind the counter who refused to take our money, and headed up the stairs to the second floor where the majority of the art awaited us. Entrance to the stairs was included with the Free admission. Nice! The art on display runs across myriad regions and periods. The map will help you find your favorites, as the organization didn't seem to follow any particular theme. It might have a theme, but I didn't worry about it much. I had a map and it was free. Give yourself at least a couple of hours to view the second floor. There are a lot of small rooms, and many of the works have detailed information that helps explain their origins and history. If you want to look and not read, don't sweat it. It's not like it wasn't free to visit. Last of all, in case you missed it, it's Free. Every other museum in the region charges $20 just to walk in the door. This place is Free. Zero $. Gratis. How the heck can you get upset when it costs nothing! I'm glad I didn't get upset because my favorite Monet wasn't the one on display (They had a water lilies painting, and it looked great!) Go. Enjoy the place. Afterwards, take the money you saved with the free admission, and go get an inexpensive falafel at Mamoun's!

If you go into the art museum and go upstairs, you can actually view it from the second floor as well, which is pretty cool and get a closer view of what's up higher. No, we showed up after closing. So we didn't actually get to see the whole collection, but they do have a number of pieces that are out and under a protective glass plane. We saw pieces from Andy Warhol, Singer Sergeant, Rothko, Lichtenstein just to name a few. I cannot even imagine what's in the main collection. If you are visiting Princeton or in the area, you owe yourself a visit to this museum.

Shital was super responsive about all the details and helped me to make sure everything was perfect. We did a whole set of Alphabet paintings and not only did they draw the letters and designs for us, she also helped finish the sides when we ran out of time. Can not recommend the Arts and Crafts Studio enough!
